RQS Autoflower - first time

Luxemboer Very first indoor grow G-Tools Bonanza 1m2 with PrimaKlima Shuttle 6 with dimmer (240W) at 10-15% One Shuttle had to be replaced, dimmer was not working, but got an other problem. (Will be solved very soon/waiting for a replacement) Even with the troubles, I'm very happy of these Shuttles (and service), looks very promising Lux is 6000-8000-6000 PH 6.5 100 ml for every 10 l of soil directly around the plant, + 100 ml for every 10 l at the sides when the surface is dry Humidity variables 50-65 % Max temp 25°C Min temp 20°C Heating elements (210W) Soil temp 19.5°C 4 x 120 mm computer fans

Luxemboer April 3th Starting week 3 At the end of day 14 I gave all plants 150 ml pure water PH 6.5 Lux will go from +- 20 000 Lux now, to 50 000 Lux in steps of 5 000 Lux/day during the week I'm planning to start LST where possible Led is now on 50% Higher isn't good for the plants at this stage All goes well, except one plant is a mutant; the Northern Light I'll wait and see what happens Some plants start smelling a little Lowered the PH to 6 Had temperature drop (freezing outside) And gave it too much water It's a bad combo Need to dry Hopefully the freezing is over soon Next winter: heating pads

Luxemboer Past week was hell Seems to get better again The temperatures dropped, and stressed my plants On top of that, I overwatered Not a good combo Cold wet plants Was planning to LST them, but I will wait for now Giving the plants time to recover And just maybe my used grow medium is too strong for auto-flowers at this stage Or it's just the overwatering, but some leaves got yellowish tips I've made holes in the soil with chopsticks, wiggling them around to get air in the soil I will continue to do that for the coming days I've put the light on for 24 h now (to prevent the temp drops) Ventilate it as good as possible RQS Quick One & Easy Bud are in 10L bags RQS Fat Banana & Northern Light (mutant) are in 15L bags RQS Royal & Amnesia Haze are in 20L bags Update: The chopstick wiggling seems to be helpful The Northern Light mutant is doing well I think (removed the top) Temperatures are doing much better now The week evolved positive, everything's back to normal

Luxemboer Past days/week, I kept things very simple Just water, PH 6 - 6.3 Temps +- 25°C Seems like some start showing signs of flowering (Quick One) So I might harvest the first plant in about 5 or 6 weeks (end May) The coming week, I will start giving 25% dosage of nutrient building it up to a max of 75/80 % the leds are still at 50% will turn it up in the coming weeks (small steps) I've made some 'Topsy Micro' (thingiverse) for LST

Luxemboer 7 plants started flowering Had to dim the LEDs (light burn) Will start adding nutrients Will cut of some leaves and branches at the bottom to make it easier when giving it water

Luxemboer Day 42 Things are going well All plants show signs of flowering Guess I need to feed them a little more Sometimes the temp drops cause of the cold outdoor temps and draft Hopefully the temperature will rise the coming weeks LEDs are at 100% - 75cm above plants I can't go any higher with the lights Closet is too low, need to expand in the future Less plants and LST is a possibility A bit overcrowded now One of the main things I need to find out is the light strength and distance I guess I can do it better

Luxemboer Day 49 I've raised the nutrients last week, and changed my way of watering I water it till it runs out of the bags (every 2 - 3 days) Plants are getting greener again, so that's good Leds are now at +-60% , and I think it's better 2 times 240 Watt LED seems a little strong for 1m² and closet is only 180 cm high

Luxemboer Nothing much Just giving it water with nutrients 2 of them get pure water since about a week 4 will get pure water after the weekend Going well Next week first harvest?

Luxemboer Things going well Been flushing for 2 weeks (or almost) One of the following days I'll harvest the first plants These are the RQS Quick One and RQS Easy Bud The flowers are hard buds The Haze's, Northern Light & Fat Banana will need some xtra time I guess 2/3 weeks
