deFharo New diary with a seed cross of Black Domina x Somango (Indica 75% Sativa 25%). The day my other crop's seedling (Black Domina) got topped, I thought it would never thrive, and I quickly searched through my seed stash for something as similar as possible. I found this strain and jumped into germination; the seed sprouted in 24 hours, and I transplanted it two days later. I prepared a light substrate with black soil, peat, coco, perlite, solid microorganisms, and activated biochar. The first watering was with honey (rooting agent and carbohydrates) and activated mountain microorganisms MMA. Currently, I alternate indoor growing with outdoor until I reach about 22 hours of light; I will continue this way until the next transplant. Indoors, I keep it under cool white lights. See you next time!! Cheers!!

deFharo Three weeks old and so much vigor since the start, the roots are eagerly peeking out from the base looking for substrate, and the growth has been noticeable this week, so far so good!! But it turns out I'm dealing with another mutant plant, the 4 upper leaves, besides growing with a single leaflet, have no bud between them, I guess now the two branches from the first and only node of the seedling will develop, I'll stay tuned. In the end, with so many mutant plants, I'm going to get attached to them!! 😂 Has anyone seen this mutation before? Cheers and Health!! Until next time!! 😳

deFharo Great growth this fourth week from seed, as I expected the branching of the first node caused by the apical dominance has developed, I'm definitely looking at a siamese plant 😜 On the 26th, I transplanted it to its final pot (5.5L), the root ball was very abundant and vigorous, I hope it continues like this and spreads quickly in its new pot. In principle, if all goes well, I plan to switch the plant to flowering in about two weeks. For now, I’m keeping the pot at a very precise humidity that also maintains a high level of oxygenation in the substrate. Cheers and health!! Until next time!! 😄

deFharo A week after transplanting, the plant is settling into the pot normally, if we can even talk about normalcy with this mutant strain!!😱 In the last 4 days, the plant has been experiencing vigorous growth from its two Siamese tops, for this reason on day 34 of cultivation, I tied the two apices. The morphology of this plant will allow me to shape it from the start with ties, it's going to be fun!! During the first days of the week, I maintained the humidity level in the pot by providing invigorating solutions based on algae (Bokashi tea and lacto algae with contributions from Effective Microorganisms (EM) and auxin hormones incorporated into one of my lacto ferments focused on vegetative growth (NP). On day 34, I applied a deeper watering based on NP; for this, I prepared a solution of animal meal lacto ferment with EM (N, P, Ca...) at 1.5% and 0.5% of my enzymatic hydrolysate of animal proteins (amino acids, N, P, and minerals). I applied this solution for soil and foliar watering. The blind leaves of the original apex are yellowing, and now they are passing the accumulated energy to the rest of the plant; it's really a very supportive behavior 😋 Until next week, greetings to everyone!! 😊

deFharo It's really exciting to grow this little mutant!! Sixth week of life and the plant is thriving day by day. At the beginning of the week, I did an LST on the two branches that sprouted from the central blind leaves; these leaves turned yellow and fell under their own weight, revealing a perfect cut and surprise!! Under the cut, it's sprouting; I don't know how far it will go, but it would be a nice central addition to the overall colas. The two branches grew a lot in the first few days, and two days ago I did another LST. Now there's a nice right-handed "S" shape that I suspect will turn into a canopy full of tips. You can tell by the water consumption that the plant is comfortable in its pot and that the roots are thriving inside. I'm going to wait at least another week before switching the plant to flowering. For now, this week I'm only going to water it with mountain water to give it time to digest the nutrients and minerals present in the substrate. At most, I'll inoculate the substrate with Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA) to help with nutrient decomposition. I keep this plant at 14 hours in my cool white light cabinet, with independent spectrums of: 9500K, 6300K, 7700K, and 450nm. I'm aiming for compact growth and promoting the growth of lateral branches. The rest of the light hours I complete by taking the plants out into the autumn sun. Cheers and health to everyone. Until next week!! 😊

deFharo 49 days of life for this little mutant, and I'm having a lot of fun with the shaping that the blind apex imposed on me. I continue to adjust the LST of the two main branches, bringing them into a spiraled shape. The central apex that appeared after the blind leaves is growing, but I suspect it won't amount to anything useful. I'll keep an eye on it this week, but if it continues to grow in that amorphous way, I'll probably cut it off so it doesn't take energy away from the main branches. I was thinking of switching the plant to flowering this week, but I'm going to keep it in my Cool White cabinet for another week to make it sturdier, more compact, and strengthen all the secondary branches with these lights. It's my first time growing in such a small pot, 5.5L, and I'm curious to see what level of production I can achieve with this pot. Water consumption is good and increasing; this week has been for purification. On day 45, taking advantage of a big autumn storm, I took the plant outside for a bath with the water from the heavens to clean its leaves, oxygenate the substrate, and provide atmospheric nitrogen that the plant then assimilates. Yesterday, I did an inoculation watering with Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA) with honey (free sugars and minerals) and added solids to the substrate. This addition I composed of: Sodium humate from leonardite powder (humic, fulvic, and himatomelanic acids), Alfalfa meal (nitrogen fixation and organic matter [OM]), Cottonseed meal (5/2/2, micronutrients and OM), homemade auxins in powder (growth hormones and OM), eggshell powder (calcium), Worm guano (5/3/3, prebiotic, OM, pest and pathogen resistance), a total of 25g in equal parts. To help dissolve these components and for the plant's subsequent digestion, this week I will continue inoculating Activated Microorganisms (MMA) in the substrate with pure water. The MM need food in the form of Organic Matter (OM) and the energy to proliferate that honey or molasses provides. In the end, these little guys perform essential functions for nutrition, but also, as they die, they contribute nitrogen and organic matter to the substrate. This MMA formula provides essential minerals (Ca, Mg, Si, Fe, P, K, etc.) at the same time. Until next time, thanks for being there!! Cheers!! 😊

deFharo Last week of vegetative growth for this little mutant, there has been notable growth in all the branches, especially the secondary ones, now the plant has a uniform canopy and good leaf structure to move into flowering. Water consumption is gradually increasing, this week's waterings have been dedicated to inoculating microorganisms into the substrate, just yesterday, in the last watering, I watered with a solution of honey, my lacto-fermented animal meals with Effective Microorganisms (EM) and ormus, which I use to raise the pH of my ferments while providing Ca, Mg, and traces of all the elements from the periodic table. Nothing else new for this grow, I'll keep you updated next week!! Cheers to everyone!! 😊

deFharo Ninth week of life for this two-headed plant, 4 days since I switched it to flowering, I'm going to grow this plant entirely in flowering in a cabinet with ad hoc lights. Excitement and surprise are present in this grow, three days ago I discovered that the main stem had split in half due to the tension I put on the two main branches, the cut was deep and threatened to continue down to the base, fortunately, I found it in time but I also have to thank the "surprise apex" as it has helped slow down the cut, in any case, when I discovered it the wound was healed and woody, the plant has shown no symptoms, I tied the stem to prevent further progress and stop the break. Other than that, the plant is progressing, I'm still adjusting the ties, there are numerous shoots that promise strong colas, moisture consumption is increasing, the challenge is to achieve maximum yield considering the 5.5l pot. This week two water and molasses feedings, I added minerals and solid nutrients to the slow and medium-release substrate. Greetings to everyone!! Until next week!! 😍

deFharo Second week of flowering, the plant keeps growing, becoming bushier, and there's no trace of pre-flowering, everything is going well, it's going to be a great plant despite the small pot and the bicephaly mutation. The violent cut of the stem and the tying I did is causing a fantastic thickening in the stem and the two main branches. The technique of thickening stems through tying is a classic in bonsai cultivation, I think I'm going to experiment with new crops, mainly those that show thin stems. Water consumption is high, especially considering the small pot that holds the crop, 5.5l, watering is frequent every 48h. With little substrate and a large root ball, the roots are showing at the base of the pot, nutrient waterings are frequent. 😋 WEEKLY DIET Day 64. Rainwater and Mountain at 10%, molasses, Potassium Humate from Leonardite with Minerals at 1.5%, Ormus at 1%, Lacto fermented guano with Efficient Microorganisms (EM) at 5%. PH: 6.6 EC: 1.4. 650ml. deFharo Second week of flowering, the plant is showing fantastic stature and vigor from a small 5.5L pot, it has become bushier, strengthened its branches, and has started pre-flowering, all with a very healthy appearance!! Water consumption is very high, which makes me happy, it uses up the entire capacity of the pot in 48 hours, allowing for optimal aeration of the substrate and also enabling me to vary the watering diet a lot. This week I've done 4 light waterings, two with pure water and molasses, another with my pumpkin biol with Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA), this preparation is equivalent to the function of seaweed preparations, both invigorate the crop by providing vitamins and minerals, plus my preparation provides MMA and minerals (Ca, Mg, P, Fe, Si...), this crop, although it shows no symptoms of deficiencies, I do think it needs to be strengthened to give its all now, at a splendid moment in the cultivation. The last nutrient watering I did with my auxin NP lacto ferment to promote the strengthening of all branches and shoots, this preparation with organic Nitrogen will be the last of this kind. I use Ormus to raise the pH since my ferments are acid-based. For now, that's all. Greetings to everyone!! 😊

deFharo Fourth week of flowering, twelfth of life. This week the flowers have started to thrive all over the branches, I’m looking forward to a few weeks of joy watching this little mutant grow. The plant has a very high water consumption, exhausting the moisture in the pot in just 48 hours, and for me, this is the biggest sign of health for a crop at this stage. The flowering has taken off just 7 days after pre-flowering, flowers are sprouting all over the branches and there are no signs of deficiencies or shortages. I'm curious to see the final result of this crop, as it has a small pot of 5.5 liters. The high water consumption is also due to the plant's lushness; this high water intake forces me to feed with my soluble nutrients mainly, and I also regularly add solids on the surface, mainly minerals. The greater the presence of minerals in a living being, the more complex it is, and I believe that the late and redundant aging of my crops is precisely due to the presence of traces of all the minerals from the periodic table. This mineral nutrition, for me, goes beyond the mere nutritional supply of the classic elements: NPK, Ca, Mg, Fe, or Si. Understanding the plant's needs and knowing how organic and inorganic nutrients work is my only goal, and as a reward, I always expect: healthy organic weed and great production. This week I ran out of my rainwater reserves; I mix it with water I collect from the mountain to achieve EC concentrations around 1.8. The geology of my area is mainly composed of calcareous rocks, hence the high pH: 8, and clays like kaolin and montmorillonite that mainly provide Si, Ca, and Mg. The clays also favor cation exchange, enhancing nutrient assimilation. Just watering with this type of water would cover the supply of Ca, Mg, Si, among traces of many other minerals throughout the crop. The frequency of watering promotes a very varied and necessary feeding... this week: Day 78. Rainwater and mountain water at 25%, molasses, potassium hydrolysate from Leonardite (Humic, fulvic, K) at 2%, guano lacto-ferment with minerals (Ca, Mg) and EM (MM, BAL) at 1%. pH: 6.28 EC: 2. - 500ml. Day 80. Rainwater and mountain water at 40%, molasses, Activated Mountain Microorganisms with minerals (MMA) at 2%, Ormus (Ca, Mg... pH) at 1%. pH: 6.58 EC: 0.9 - 600ml. Day 82. Rainwater and mountain water at 50%, MMA at 1.3% and Ormus at 0.3%. pH: 6.36 EC: 0.7 - 600ml. Day 83. Rainwater and mountain water at 50%, molasses, Bio fruits and minerals with PK at 2%, ash water (Si, K... pH) at 2% and Ormus at 0.5%. pH: 6.3 EC: 1. - 100ml. Day 84. Mountain water and molasses. pH: 6.8 EC: 0.4. - 600ml. Greetings to the whole community of clandestine grower fans!! 😂

deFharo Week thirteen, fourth week of flowering, I can only say that the plant continues to grow powerfully, the cultivation is very easy and rewarding, I’m impressed by the vigor and lushness of this little two-headed mutant (see week 3). This cultivation makes me reflect on the size of the growing pots; I’m growing this plant in an old school 5.5L square pot with holes for better root aeration. So far, it’s the smallest pot I use in my grows and it’s not disappointing, rather the opposite, the flower buds are growing all along the many branches due to the LST that the mutation forced me to do. Water consumption is very high, due to the little substrate and the large foliage. It’s clear to me that the current substrate is acting merely as support, because despite my occasional solid inputs, I actually believe that the plant is thriving thanks to my organic fertilizers with minerals that are highly soluble and cover all mobile and immobile elements from the start. For me, at this stage of cultivation and with the variables I’ve mentioned, my main task is to maintain a healthy root system, avoiding nutrient saturation. For this, I do alternating waterings with water and Microorganisms, since the plant forces me to water it every 48 hours. I think I need to give the roots time to assimilate all my nutrients; in fact, so far there are no signs of deficiencies or excesses. If everything goes as it has been, I’m going to have a great harvest, and the quality will be seen later. For now, the genetics are interesting: Black Domina x Somango. With this experience, I’m considering new grows with some 3.5L pots I have around here; it would be a way to grow more different strains in the same time and better utilize the space in my small 40x40cm cabinets. 😀 WEEKLY DIET Day 86. Mountain water (EC: 0.22, Ca, Si, Fe...), Activated Mountain Microorganisms with minerals (MMA, Ca, Mg, Si, Fe, P, K) at 1%, Ormus at 0.25% (Ca, Mg...+PH) and molasses. SOLIDS: Day 87, I made a mix, in equal parts, of different organic and inorganic elements and added 15g to the surface of the pot. The watering on this day with MMA will help make the minerals and the rest soluble. Inorganic powdered elements: Azomite (Ca, Mg, K...), Phosphorite (P), Basalt (Si, Ca, Fe...), Montmorillonite (Si, cation exchange). Organic elements: Cottonseed powder (NPK and organic matter), Banana powder (Mg, K, Vitamins) and Orange (Vitamins). Day 88. Mountain water (EC: 0.22, Ca, Si, Fe...), molasses, MMA at 1% and Ormus at 0.5%. Day 90. Mountain water (EC: 0.22, Ca, Si, Fe...), molasses, Mineral Lacto Ferment (PK) with Efficient Microorganisms (EM) at 1.8%, Potassium Hydrolyzed Leonardite (Humic, fulvic acids and K) at 1.3% and Ormus at 0.4%. That’s enough for now!! Greetings to all my fellow growers!! 😄

deFharo Small pot, big plant!! My dear two-headed plant is thriving!! It’s growing vigorously and the thickness of the buds increases every day, 😋 This week while organizing spaces in my cabinets, I had this plant alone in one of my cabinets, where the temperature is significantly lower than in all the others. The last two days the temperature has dropped a lot (16° in the cabinet) and the humidity has also increased (76%). Yesterday when I checked on the plant, I saw some mold spots due to excess humidity on some large leaves. I immediately took the plant out of this cabinet and put it with my dehumidifier for the whole day. Last night I also moved it to my warmer cabinet (24°) and therefore with lower humidity (54%). Today the mold spots were faint shadows 😅. For the cold cabinet, I’m going to study how to provide a bit more heat this winter so I can grow without risks. Some of the first leaves have started to show discoloration; this process may have accelerated due to the trauma from the low temperature or the limited substrate in the pot. To try to alleviate this, next week I’m going to add solid and liquid components aimed at strengthening the plant and preserving, for as long as possible, the large leaf mass of this crop so that photosynthesis continues as it has been. The plant continues to have a very high water consumption; I water it every 48 hours. I’m being very cautious with nutrient concentrations in this and other crops, mainly because I’m growing in small pots (5.5l) and to maintain a healthy root system in perfect working condition without saturation. 😏 WEEKLY NUTRITION Day 92. Mountain water (EC: 0.22, Ca, Si, Mg, Fe...), molasses, pumpkin Biol with MMA and Minerals at 1%. PH: 6.33 EC: 0.39 -700ml. Day 94. Mountain water (EC: 0.22, Ca, Si, Mg, Fe...), molasses, Lacto algae with Effective Microorganisms and minerals (EM) at 1%. PH: 6.45 EC: 0.85 -600ml. Day 96. Mountain water (EC: 0.22, Ca, Si, Mg, Fe...), potassium humate from leonardite (Humic, fulvic, K, OM) at 1% and Lacto Guanos with EM and minerals (P, Ca, Micronutrients...) at 1%. deFharo The plant has completed the seventh week of flowering, and this week signs of exhaustion have begun to appear on quite a few of the older leaves. I think this process has accelerated after the trauma from last week, where the plant suffered a couple of nights of excessive cold and humidity. The plant's water consumption dropped to half of what it had been, and this week it has recovered a bit, but not enough. I'm worried because I hadn't considered the variable of cold and high humidity until now; this crop was doing really well until the cold. On the other hand, the buds seem to remain intact, so to compensate for the loss of leaf mass, I'm going to increase the nutrient diet this week and see how it responds. Today I did some defoliation of the discolored leaves so that air can circulate better inside and that light can come in strongly. This week I provided solid organic nutrients and two waterings with Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA) to help dissolve them. I made the solid mix in equal parts and added 15g to the surface of the pot. Solids Day 99: Bird and bat guano, potassium humate from leonardite powder with minerals, eggshell, cottonseed powder, Mealfras guano, fish meal, banana peel powder, and dried comfrey leaves for mulch. deFharo The plant has completed 8 weeks of flowering, still has energy, and is recovering its water consumption, although the signs on all the leaves are evident of the rough time it went through with cold, humidity, and fungi. To try to stop the multiplication of fungi, I manually cleaned the leaves, I have isolated the plant for a week now, and today I sprayed water with a bit of hydrogen peroxide and Lactic Acid Bacteria on the plant to first wash away the fungi in powder form, and I also hope that the extra oxygen molecule and the voracity of the lactic acids will help me. Nevertheless, the buds are growing vigorously and the plant still has a lot of energy left. This week several waterings to strengthen and stimulate the crop: DECODING NUTRITION Day 106. deFharo Ninth week of flowering and 17 days of life since seed, the plant is reaching its end, aging accelerated with the cold and humidity hit, but the buds still look good, many leaves have withered, the plant has lost a lot of leaf mass and therefore water consumption has also decreased. This week I've focused on inoculating Microorganisms to desaturate the substrate of organic matter and prepare the roots for maximum absorption of the PK nutrients I'm going to give this week to boost the fattening of the buds. DECODING NUTRITION 😉 Day 115. Rain and mountain water at 50% (EC: 0.13), Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA) with minerals (P, K, Ca, Si...) at 1% and Ormus (Mg... +PH) at 0.5%. PH: 6.5 EC: 0.42. 700ml. Day 118. Rainwater (EC: 0.028), Pumpkin biol with MMA (B, carotenoids, P, K, Ca, Mg...) at 2%, Enzymatic hydrolyzed seeds and plant protein (amino acids) at 1%, Enzymatic hydrolyzed 4 algae (amino acids, minerals, and vitamins) at 1%. PH: 6.6 EC: 1.35. 700ml. Nothing else for now. deFharo 18 weeks of life and 10 weeks of flowering, the plant is reaching its end, and even despite everything, I think it's premature. The trauma it suffered from cold and powdery mildew blocked development at a crucial stage, which was the fattening of buds. Since then, I've been trying to help the plant with gentle watering that wouldn't overload the substrate; water consumption has barely improved and hasn't returned to the levels before the cold and humidity hit. The powdery mildew has disappeared, but it left many signs of its passage. This week, as a reinforcement, I sprayed the plant with soluble sulfur to deter the fungus from appearing again. The current buds are long but not very fat yet, although they are quite dense. So, since there's not much to lose, I'm going to intensify the watering this week aimed at fattening the buds to see what happens!! 😴 ... war on the body!! Three waterings this week at 21°C to warm up the substrate!! DECODING PLANT NUTRITION 😈 - Day 121. Rainwater and mountain water at 50%, honey (Enzymes, minerals, and free sugars...), Fruit lacto-ferment, minerals, and organic NPK nutrients at 1%, Algae lacto-ferment with EM (MMA, BAL, minerals, vitamins) at 1.25%, and Ormus (Mg... +PH) at 0.75%. PH: 6.85 EC: 0.80. 600ml. - Day 123. Rainwater. PH: 7, EC: 0.02. 400ml. - Day 126. Rainwater and mountain water at 50%, Potassium humate from leonardite with minerals (Humic, fulvic, P, K) at 1.5%, and Guano biol with EM (MMA, BAL, P, micronutrients...) at 0.5%. deFharo 19 weeks of life for this two-headed plant as a result of a mutation. Despite all the problems it has faced for almost two months, the plant has held on in its small pot, resisting, as best as it could, powdery mildew and the cold. Now it shares a cabinet with other plants that also have serious issues with spider mites. So far, I haven't seen any signs of spider mites in this grow; even they seem to have pitied the ugly appearance left by the powdery mildew. 😞 As soon as the problems appeared, I confined all the affected plants to one cabinet to safeguard the rest of the crops. For a week now, these crops have remained closed, in quarantine, without mixing, and always being the last to open for watering. I sprayed this plant with diatomaceous earth. I don’t know, the truth is that since the grow is so advanced, the diatomaceous earth makes a big mess. I've decided to harvest this plant on December 31... new year, new grow!! I'll do a couple of sprays with water before harvesting to wash off the diatomaceous earth from the buds. To avoid the risk of mold after wetting the buds, I'll put the plant with a dehumidifier to speed up the drying. I think the buds can still fatten up, as they currently have great density, although I would have liked them to be thicker. The grow was on track to achieve that, but it faced many obstacles in its life path!! 😕 That's all for today!! CHEERS AND HEALTH TO ALL CANNABIS GROWERS IN THE UNIVERSE!! 😋 ====================== • CHECK OUT MY GROWING TECHNIQUES AND ADVANCED ORGANIC FERTILIZERS... deFharo 20 weeks from seed for this two-headed plant, I didn't think the flowering would stretch this long as it has completed 12 weeks... this coming week and after two waterings only with water, I'm going to cut it, I was expecting more swelling of the buds, but they seem stable and I can't wait much longer for them. In the end, this grow has surprised me with the ease of shaping its two heads and the strength of the strain, which has endured its life in a small pot, the passing of powdery mildew, and the fear of a spider mite attack!! 😋 Before cutting it, I want to clean the leaves and flowers from the remains of the diatomaceous earth I sprayed in prevention of the spider plague, since it's been raining a lot these days, I'm going to try to take the plant outside for a couple of hours before turning on the lights so that the rain can wash it. This week I watered with a solution of humic acids, with phosphorus and potassium, the plant continues with its active metabolism as the water consumption remains. REGARDS AND HEALTH TO EVERYONE... deFharo The moment of glory has arrived!! On 07/01/21 I harvested, after 147 days of a torturous life and 13 long weeks of flowering, now it's drying with controlled humidity and temperature, in a week I'll post the data and other impressions of the grow. It was fun to grow this strain, especially after its mutation that allowed me to shape the two main branches to my liking. Throughout the grow, it was a vigorous and grateful plant, although it aged quickly and prematurely after a cold and powdery mildew blockage, the small pot size didn’t help, but the plant managed to pull through and make it to today. This would have probably been a spectacular grow if I had cultivated it in a larger pot. I carefully manicured the resulting buds to get rid of the leaves with remnants of diatomaceous earth that I applied to prevent a spider pest. The buds are dense, the yield modest, 140g wet, but I'm satisfied with the growing process. For me, there’s always a kind of melancholy when the time to harvest arrives, to cut, to annihilate... the fate that humans have imposed on the plants, which were not born to be harvested, but to reproduce and survive. But that's okay, in the end, when I smoke the fruits of the harvest, I do it as a tribute to all of them... 😵 and in the end, this fate unites us both, cannabis and growers, in a new infinite cycle of life... harvested plant=consumed plant=new grow... 😊 REGARDS AND HEALTH TO ALL GROWERS, SEE YOU NEXT WEEK!! 😘 ================================= • CHECK OUT MY GROWING TECHNIQUES AND MY ADVANCED ORGANIC FERTILIZERS....
