Weekly Summary: Solid week. Moved lights around now that plants are used to the CMH. Each plant has a dedicated light now. FIrst grow with the HLG 300 Rspec and it only has a 3x3 flowering footprint so each plant should have ample wattage with a cross-over spectrum in between the plants. Other than light defoliation here and there for airflow and clearing bud sites of shadows, I've been pretty much hands off other than top-offs. MQ4 became sticky this week. MQ3 is still behind MQ4 by about 5-7 days but producing much larger buds. --------------------------------------- May 8 (Day 55) --------------------------------------- Tent: 79F-80F (Day) / 71F - 72F (Night) Rh: 50% (Day) / 40% (Night) Water Temp: 68F-70F PH: 5.4 PPM: 950/930/950 Leaf Temp: 77F PH stable at 5.4 PPM steady overnight at 950 but water level is down 4L. A little tucking and defoliation to clear light for bud sites on both plants. Cleared some more bud sites that are underwhelming and residual growth from under canopy on MQ4. No further spotting on leaves. Worked on MQ4 and spreading some more branches so they have room to swell. Added 20ml of AN Big Bud mixed well in 1L RO water. Added 8ml of Z9 pt 1 + pt 2 in 1L of RO water. PPM bounced up to 950 from 930 after tops offs. Moved lights around; each plant has a dedicated light. MQ3 has the LED and MQ4 has the CMH with crossover light spread. Flowers are really starting to stack. Smell is increasing. Pink hue on many of the pistils and sugar production going well. --------------------------------------- May 9 (Day 56) --------------------------------------- Tent: 79F-80F (Day) / 71F - 72F (Night) Rh: 50% (Day) / 40% (Night) Water Temp: 68F-70F PH: 5.5 PPM: 940/970 Leaf Temp: 77F PH rose to 5.5 on its own. PPM down to 940 but water level is down considerably so eat/drink rate is mostly steady. Topped off water level - about 1.5gal Added 20ml of B52 Added 20ml of Sensi A/B to top off solution to balance ppm. - FInal 970 ppm. MQ4 has noticeably more frost than MQ3; MQ4 was always ahead of MQ3 in regards to flowering by about 7 days. --------------------------------------- May 10 (Day 57) --------------------------------------- Tent: 79F-80F (Day) / 71F - 72F (Night) Rh: 55% (Day) / 45% (Night) Water Temp: 68F-70F PH: 5.6/5.5 PPM: 950/1000 Leaf Temp: 77F PH rose to 5.6 PPM down to 950 but water level is down considerably so eat/drink rate is mostly steady. Topped off water level Added 5ml of Orca to 1L RO water - mixed well. Added 20ml of Sensi A/B to 1L of top off solution to balance ppm. Added more plain RO water to preferred water level. Total top off is approx 1.5gal - Final 1000 ppm. Light defoliation on MQ3 and MQ4. Increased humidity a little to center up on vpd. PH dropped to 5.5 late in day. --------------------------------------- May 11 (Day 58) --------------------------------------- Tent: 79F-80F (Day) / 71F - 72F (Night) Rh: 55% (Day) / 45% (Night) Water Temp: 68F-69F PH: 5.5 PPM: 990/990 Leaf Temp: 77F PH steady at 5.5 in morning. PPM at 990 but water down - eating/drinking at the same rate. Topped off in morning - about 1 gallon on water. Over one hour, I mixed the following well in 3 diff water solutions totaling 1 gallon (4L): Added 20ml of AN Big Bud in 2L RO water. Added 10ml of Z9 Pt 1 and Pt 2 in 1L water Added 10ml of Sensi Bloom A+B in 1L water. Top off final PPM: 990 Buds are really stacking up now. --------------------------------------- May 12 (Day 59) --------------------------------------- Tent: 79F-80F (Day) / 71F - 72F (Night) Rh: 55% (Day) / 45% (Night) Water Temp: 67F-68F PH: 5.5/5.7 PPM: 1000/980/940/1020 Leaf Temp: 77F Ppm dropped to 980 from 1000 Ph rose to 5.7 from 5.5 organically. Added 5ml Orca mixed in 1.5 L of RO water. (morning) Add 20ml of b52 (evening) in 1L water Add 15ml a/b (evening) in 1L water Final PPM after top off: 1000 PH rose to 5.8 Later in day PPM dropped to 940 - water level dropped Add 5ml AN sensibloom a/b (overnight) in 1L RO water Added 10ml of Big bud in 1L RO water (overnight Final ppm after top off: 1020 Trimmed off a few popcorns under the scrog on MQ4 Hands off MQ4 - it became extra sticky today. MQ4 is noticeably more frosty today. MQ3 leaves still praying a bit on its high points. Note: find time to hook up the top-off bucket (you should have two weeks ago!) --------------------------------------- May 13 (Day 60) --------------------------------------- Tent: 78F-79F (Day) / 71F - 72F (Night) Rh: 55% (Day) / 45% (Night) Water Temp: 66F-68F PH: 5.7/5.6 PPM: 1000/980/940/1020/990 Leaf Temp: 77F PPM dropped to 5.6 on its own. Dropped daytime temps by 1 degree. Manual top off. Added 8ml of Z9 in 1.5L of RO water. Added 20ml of bigbud in 1.5L RO water mixed well. Final PPM 990 --------------------------------------- May 14 (Day 61) --------------------------------------- Tent: 78F-79F (Day) / 71F - 72F (Night) Rh: 55% (Day) / 45% (Night) Water Temp: 64F-67F PH: 5.7/5.6/5.5 PPM: 1000 / 1020 Leaf Temp: 77F PPM steady at 1000 Cleared drain hoses. Water smells fresh - I’m not seeing any reason to change the water yet. Minor defoliation - Only cleared a handful of bud sites for light and a few leaves stuck together. MQ4 is getting really frosty and sticky. MQ3 is still a bit behind MQ4, so she’s building up to the frost now. Big chunky buds on her. Manual Top off: Added 5ml Orca in 1L RO water (evening) Added 2.5L RO water plain (evening) Added 25ml of A+B mixed well in 1.5L RO water (evening) Final PPM: 1020
