ParanoidGuy * Monday: The roots are finally reaching the nutrient solution. I can see that the plant start to grow much faster now :). I will try to take more pictures this week to show you.
I decided to add a little more nutrients compared to last week.
Also I noticed something great with my new pH reducer: it doesn't change the solutions EC !
* Wednesday: As you can see on the picture I took on Monday, the lower leaves don't look that great.
Today it's worse, they are completely dry and dying. I will cut them off.
I saw a brow root in the reservoir, I decided to cut it.
Also I cleaned the bucket with some soap and the air stone because it was covered with some sort of white gel.
Now I am crossing my finger and hope that the plant will survive !
* Friday: Bad news again... I think the plant is infected with "cyanobacteria" (source: https://www.rollitup.org/t/help-white-gel-on-roots.346004/).
I have all the symptoms described in the thread: the solution is turning all white because there is some kind of white gel floating in the bucket and it is spreading like crazy !
Plus the pH is skyrocketing from 5.8 to 10 in one night...
Good point though: The plant looks healthier and it is still growing !
I will try to give the roots a bath of strong h2o2 solution and disinfect the bucket again.
* Sunday: I think the disease stopped spreading. I see that the leaves don't die anymore, new growth is showing up and new roots are popping in the reservoir.
I decided to top the plant Saturday because it was recovering.

ParanoidGuy * Monday: I wake up and get to my DWC, the plant look good but the white gunk is back in force !
My air-stone is covered in white gel and the roots too now.
I did change my nutrients again and added some H2O2.
I figured that this won't get rid of the white gel so I ordered some powdered beneficial bacteria (Bacillus amyloliquefaciens subsp. Plantarum souche D747), I should receive it this week and I pray that this will save my plant.
* Wednesday: Some good and some bad news today ! The roots are being EATEN by that thing in my bucket :-|
I see some little chunk falling in the bucket and lots of white stuff again.
The good news is: I received the benies today ! I just changed my nutrient reservoir again, cleaned everything and included the benies in my bucket.
* Thursday: lights turn on and I go check on the plant !!!
It looks like the two top leaves are praying which make me think that it is recovering for good !
I checked on the reservoir and saw that some white stuff is forming on the air-stone again so I decided to add some more benies.
Also there is a weird brown gunk on the roots now. I hope this is good stuff ! Lots of new white roots too.
I think I need to start brewing a micro organism tea ! I read somewhere online that it gives good
* Sunday: the bucket is full of foam so I change it again. The pH is, again, raising a lot.
I think I need to change the bennies and use something intended for hydroponics, the stuff I am using isn't.
I ordered some TNC Bactorr s13. I should get it early next week.
Good news (?): I didn't see any white gunk when I changed the water. There is only some brown slime on the roots and the stone.
I can see some little growth on the plant.
I receive my new pH down bottle this Friday so I decided to make a fresh solution because I just want to try it.
Next day very big surprise ! All my water is white like milk and I am wondering why :-|
My air-stone is also sending MUCH MORE bubbles in the solution ! I read the instructions again on the pH down bottle and notice that it is also anti-limestone.
I had to change my nute rez a third time on Sunday and this solution will be used for the next week.
