Scary but super exciting. Watched way too many videos and decided to just rolled the dice. Soaked them for 24 hours they all sank. Drained water and planted them. Took 3 days to energy from soil.

Super simple. No issues this week. Keep feeling like I'm micromanaging too much. Wonder if I should wait till soil is more dry but so far plants are super happy. I kept thinking they'd be bigger by now. Thinking week three will see some big growth.

These ladies are doing so well. It's almost like autopilot. Starting to have to water more regularly. Should I let the soil dry out completely before rewatering or lightly? I've been letting them dry up a little but not a lot before watering. The plants are healthy. Don't fix it if it ain't broken... I adjusted the fan a little lower to increase airflow. Originally I had it at the very top just to circulate. Now they are seeing some movement. I haven't turned on the filter yet but will for week 4 on out. I'm hoping this will lower humidity a bit. That reminds me I need to figure out what humidity needs to be for remainder of veg and flowering. Removed mister off watering can (pump up sprayer) to increase water flow. I also am using the recommended fertilizer amt. So increased from 50% to 100. I'm also wondering if with organic fertilizers if there is a too much within reason. Next grow I'm going to do the recommended after the first week. END

What humidity level should I aim for to avoid mold when flowering starts? Veg is around 60 right now. Temp is 70-74. Thx in advance.

Autopilot still. Didn't have to water as much it seemed but when I did water I watered heavily so that may be why. Worried about the burn or leaf discoloration on one of the plants. Possibly seeing on others but not getting worse it seems. Have to wait and see. Started PHing the water it was around 7.75. Bought it down to 6 for future waterings starting 4.5 weeks in and going forward. Humidity is too high but still not running filter. Thinking Im going to need a dehumidifier soon when major flowering starts happening. End.

LSTed 1, the other two were too rigid for my liking to try it. I'll do it earlier next time. For fun I think I would like to try it with floral wire and rewire it weekly to account for plant growth. I did some minimal defoliation as flowering should be starting. Surprised it wasn't yet, I'm into the 5th week on two plants and 4th on the other. They are changing daily. I almost wonder if I have too many plants in here they are growing so fast. It's frankly alarming in a cool way. I addressed humidity this week as well. I'm shooting for 40% humidity. At 45% right now but anticipating it coming down to 40 this evening and then holding through these next 4-6 weeks. I'm still feeding 2 tbsp per gallon but swapped this week to half veg and half bloom. Just still not seeing any white hair tells. One bad thing I did was not watering them for a slight amount of time (little over a day). At this time, week 4/5, I feel like they really need to be watered daily. End.

Good week. Requiring water daily, one day off of watering and I don't care for the results. Feels like I'm missing out on growth. Autos are getting a little too big for tent. Two might be better for next run. We will see. 2-4 weeks more to go.

They are not drinking water but eating it. I swear like almost a gallon a day. I burned them slightly with organic fert by top dressing and then adding water. Will use half the amount or will use mortar and pestle to powderize the mix to make it more water soluble. All in all they are growing massively but flowering production in this week is a little less than what I think. I don't get it.

I have a 5' tall tent and I bought autos cause of that limitation. I'm already 7.5 weeks in and my autos from top of pot to top of plant are every but of 3-3.5'. Another 6" to 12" and they will be touching the top. Is there anything at this stage of the game I can do or am I SOL

Hmmmmm Yup I have this problem with photos that dont want to stop stretching cause they love thier feed so much (Fat wenches) anyway that is very impressive for an autoflower my friend I will say first of all. she is going to have one bountiful harvest thats for sure. Erm I would say try getting another net and splitting the tops up as much as you can if you check my SOG grow out that has 2 nets in and its really the only way you can control the height other than topping and bending and thats kinda out the question with autos if you can put your light higher that will help she is probably done stretching now :) Great strain name thought they were gunna actully be tomatoes lmao

Umm I'm trying to let more light in so I've been defoliating modestly. Not sure if I'm supposed to at this stage but the leaves are excessive after every week and I've been doing this off and on for 2-3 weeks now. The pictures are post defoliation. Still drinking an insane amount. Had to fix dehumidifier to run longer. Bought hose and run to 5 gallon bucket. Gives me solid run times before dehumidifier shuts off. All in all another good week. Not sure how much they have but my guess is they have another 2-4 weeks.

My autos are 40-44" tall from top of soil...they seem massive or maybe this is normal. Question is, is defoliation acceptable throughout flowering for large fan leaves? All my pics are post defoliation not pre. Thoughts? Thx in advance!

Hello Again my friend your certainly a busy bee today with these grow questions. Now I know why your asking look at that forest but unfortunately autos react very differently to stress than photo plants they are much much more susceptible to stunting when stressed sometimes you can help defoliation like this kind of time but I would wait until late late flower say week 7 of flower then you will have the best shot at getting her to finish without any stunting or problems slowing her down. I would wait until you see the buds start to dense up and then that is probably the best time :) though I would never advise doing it as the other grower has stated she needs her fans for nutrients and not just that she is an old plant and has evolved over 1000s of years to produce her biggest and best flowers to attract male pollen and reproduce. Now if she would benefit from having her fans stripped she would of evolved to do so. Any healthy growth you remove will be taking energy away which she could be using to make your bud that much fatter :) Though its your plant and people do have good results doing it not saying you cant just my opinion wishing you all the best pal :)

***See below for massive edit.*** Just feeding water from humidifier to cleanse them of any organic fertilizers. Had expected for size of plant better flower production but it's still a week to two weeks out. All trichomes are still clear. Not sure how often I should be checking. ----------------------------------------------- Edit: Felt really bummed out cause it seemed like bud sites were bad. On a recommendation from a question I asked I did a massive defoliation. Plenty of bud sites. Took me almost an hour to do all three plants and do some house keeping in the tent itself. So glad I did that cause the light penetration is excellent now and I removed a lot of buds/limbs that weren't worth the remaining time. Put that energy toward the other locations.

How often should I start looking for cloudy to amber trichomes? Currently they are all still clear. Do I need to check daily?

You can check once or twice per day, but if they are all still clear you may still be a week or more out before majority of them are cloudy. It is also good to check different areas of the plant, and not just focus on one spot. This will give you a better idea of how far along the entire plant is. Once majority of trichomes are cloudy and more and more amber start to pop up, you will want to check more frequently until you decide to harvest. How many cloudy and amber trichomes there are before you chop it down is up to your own preference. Hope this helps, and good luck with the grow. Cheers!

Great week. Still clear trichomes. I hate how sellers skew harvest times. Why not just be straight up. I'd pay more for that.

On autopilot, they are guzzling water stopping with nutrients. Fed organic but I feel like things are starting to turn cloudy. Can I get y'all's thoughts from the microscope pics? Are they ready?
