High GD community, Week 4, Week 4, Runtz went outside into the greenhouse yesterday. The long term meteo does look positive, just 2 nights under 5 degrees celcius in the coming 4 days and than it should start rising to 8 to 9 degrees celcius at night. So I took the chance now to start, and get me some 2 weeks extra on the vegging part. Inside, they where shooting up and no horizontal growth. I took out the head of the plant , removing like 8 cm of stem, just to be sure it doesnt get over the 2 meters high. 1 very gentle feeding, rest of the week ph water. Roots exit at the bottom, starting to dig in the soil underneath. Thursty baby. High GD community, Week 8, Runtz is settled and is launched. She got transplanted to a 15 liter growbag in the beginning of last week. Removed 4 lowest branches and some leafs. And ive attached the upper branches to some sticks with ties and bended it away from the center. She was 100% recovered in 2 days time. She got thursty 2. Thats bcs of the weather 2 ofcourse. Temps are way up now and she likes it. Daily watering this girl, and added 1 watering with AM from boķashi. High GD community, Week 12, Runtz doing very good. It has 2 ladybugs in pre-pop stage hunting around in this plant.🐞 I think everything is under control bcs they move around a lot and no ants🐜 are protecting their cattle. 2 signs that are positive. This week the weather was way down in comp with weeks before. Temps get max to 28 degrees celcius with both doors of the greenhouse closed. Night temps drop to 14 this week. Only 2 waterings this week, 5 liter with molasses and acacia honey 1 time. I did a second round of hst with some supercropping. 1 day and everything was allready growing towards the sky again. Some lst on the main stem with small weights making it bend just enough to go sideways. 💪 Canopy is more or less even, so im glad it worked out just fine. High GD community, Week 13, All doing good. Nonetheless the weather is not that great, temps and humidity are good and plants react very good. Ive read some article about VPD, vapor pressure deficit, thats very intresting. In the pics you see 2 situations, and its clear that plants get stressed a lot according to these list. Im trying to do the best i can by adding some moist into the greenhouse. I had very dry conditions and very stressfull. 35 degrees celcius with 45% humidity seems just cruel. Made a other small batch of water with a small dosage of compost tea, aired for 24h, some honey and bokashi juice. The honey ive added after 12h of airation of the tea, so it had a good foam on it, smelling sweet and wet forest. High GD community, Week 17, Runtz is towering up!!!🚀🚀🚀 The 3 ladies are now 1 week at their final place in the greenhouse. It was a bit of a search to find enough space for them, bcs they were in the middle of the greenhouse and i had to move around all the time, move them. Also, they can grow roots directly into the soil, now theres no tray beneath it. You might also notice the blue canvas in the backside. Thats my solution at the moment against the lightpolution coming from those damn streetlights. Ive cut my hedge past week and remarked at a night visit that there was a lot of light in the greenhouse. The Orange light, grow inducing i think isnt the best thing all night long, so ive bought 2 canvas of 4 by 2 meter, hung them on the inside of the greenhouse,1, and its such a difference. Its black again in that corner. Its also the eastside of the greenhouse, so it delays a little bit the start of the day 2. The other canvas ill use when i trim that side of the gardenhedge. And in spring and before flower and to hot days that might still come, it will serve as a shadow sheet, so the plants dont boil. Canvas is a 120gr/m². A little note for the feeding of this week. I received my promo pack from greenbuzzliquids friday!!! The timing couldnt be better!!! 2 of the 3 ladies started showing start of defficiency, and Runtz still looking pretty good, i gave her also a good foilar spray with growzyme. And a good boostfeeding into the soil with more roots, humic acid, organic veg and organic calmag. High GD community, Week 19, Still not the change i expected. Last week ive hung a canvas to blok out the streetlights, and this week i have even put more effort into that, but dammn, theres so much lightpollution!!! Yesterday i went to a 6h endurance race at spa francourchamps and there i was flabbergasted by the darkness and amount of stars that are visible. No comparisation with my homegarden. Ive watched the meteoriet rain the last couple of days, ive seen around 49 of them, but im sure, in the south of Belgium there was much more to see just bcs of the better conditions. High GD community, Week 20, At the moment it doesnt look like Runtz will get that 9 weeks bloom time, but ill count extra week for being outside and the interference of all the light pollution i had before. The enourmes stretch has ended and ive bended the 2 highest tops down with a pinch, and now all are practicly at the same height. Cleaned up a lot on the bottomside and most of the underdeveloped branches. 2 vents are 24/7 on to maintain enough aircirculation during these humid times in the green house. Ive cleaned up the tomatoes bcs they got those moldy leafs. I invested an other 12 euro in a 4mx6m canvas to cover the entire greenhouse. And now its getting really dark in here. Even after staying 30 min in the greenhouse, it stays pretty dark after getting used to the dark, so thats a real good thing. Its a bit of work everyday! High GD community, Week 22, Runtz in full transition. Took an other 10 cm in height. To me, it feels like the canvasses i put on every night and remove in the morning are making a big difference. Ofcourse, now is really the time to bloom, but the extra darkness it gets is giving that extra boost i think. Ill take that to next outdoor season, and will get to keep track of the benefits of giving darker nights. Especially when days start to shorten again. If plants could turn to bloom 14 days earlier, its a very positive thing. 2 feedings this week, always humic acids and growzyme, 1 was with calmag and bigfruits ph 6.5, 1 feeding with bloom and more pk. Temps are a drama, some cool nights this week with 1 night hitting 8 degrees celcius in the greenhouse, and when its grey and rain, it doesnt heat up more then 2 degrees extra from outside. High GD community, Week 27, Runtz packing up, calyxes getting bigger, lovely fruity scent. She's a hard girl, resisting mold and spidermites. First leafs start to turn yellow. So I will not keep her much longer outside. First time clean fruits is added, 🤞 she shows first signs of maturation next week, and hopefull to harvest her around next week thursday. High GD community, Week 28, Runtz is also topped for the most part. Leaving the lower section to get a bit more maturity in them and look for that fine outside grown taste and aroma. Did a good check up for mold and had to throw only 3 small parts away. It looks like she got rather strong genes against mold, but this season is really moldy, so she couldnt stay free of it. I did an other clean fruits watering, second one in 1 week span. So I hope to see some reaction and get them ready in about a week.
