Using up the remaining blue dreams before I move on to another strain. 4 blue dreams in a 4x4ft space. HLG 600 board this time around so I am hoping for a lot more. 3 seeds sprouted fine, one had trouble exiting its inner seed casing so I intervened after 4 or 5 days, so that one is behind by about a week. I think I'm organizing the plants number 1 thru 4. In the photo the runt seedling is #3 for example I gave them fertilized water almost immediately after seeing roots come from the bottom. Balanced pH to 6 for all

Giving all four the same strength to keep it simple. Plants 1 and 2 are showing spotting. I think it is because I left them under the lights at 10% with just pH balanced water for 2-3 days. Just a guess.

Didn't change water, just topped them off with 1/4 strength pH balanced. I topped 1, 2, and 4 above the 4th node. I'll do the same to 3 soon.

Optional veg week. 1 and 2 look great. 3 is a weird mutant and darker than the rest. I don't know if it is having issues or what but it is still growing. #4 looks great and very strong but the roots were pooping white material every time I would lift the net cup. Almost looked like calcium or something. I defoliated 1, 2, and 4 while 3 is still growing. Topped several nodes on 1, 2, 4 as well as large fan leaves to allow new bud sites to develop. Will change over to bloom next week!

Start of transition, switching it to 12-12. Will turn on at midnight and run until noon. Obviously will save on power price but also grow room temps. I am in an unconditioned workshop which gets hot in AZ so running the quantum board at night will help keep temps down some. These things are very thirsty. I filled them on Thurs after ntoicing they were very low. Checked again Sun to fine #3 and #4 with about 4 or 5 inches of water. ITs pretty in credible. All the plants look great and dark green. 3 is looking a little off but it is growing so whatever. It is much darker than the other three plants. I pinched a few remaining shoots that needed topping and hope they have enough to fill a sea of green. I defoliated about half the larger fan leaves and any leaf touching the bucket. #3 is looking better and almost at the height of the others, but root ball is significantly smaller than the rest of them. I tried some LST just to get some branches to stretch to the edges of the tent. Laid out the net today and will keep encouraging everything to grow out

#2 plant experienced a failure early this past week. Reservoir aerator looked like it wasn't producing bubbles. All leaves and stems were droopy as if it wasn't getting water or the bucket was empty. Roots turned brown and mushy, most of them broke off when I pulled at it, so I "pruned" back the dead roots and left the plant in its place to recover. It regrew a whole new root system, and is now bouncing back. It should be fine I think. Other than that, other plants are doing well. I replaced the 6" SOG net with a 4" which makes it easier to tuck stems under it. Plant is getting nice and horizontal now. Fingers crossed for a good harvest. . Just realized I am on week 6, not week 5. Weeks 1 & 2 were combined on this diary as week 2

Was a dramatic week for the plants. Temps got into the 100s for a solid few days. Plants were very stressed in their pots and pathogens growing in the water. Often when I peeked at the water during the week, it would be warm/hot, slimy, and full of white shedding material I think the roots put off; generally just doesn't look good compared to my winter grow. Equipment: I discovered that the air stones I bought were too small, inadequate, and the roots and their white shedding would gunk up the stone and prevent bubbles. I think this was the main reason #2 died. Additionally, one of the air lines was pinched on #4 which I think caused its root rot. #1 and #3 were both producing a good number of bubbles. I switched out the airstones for 4: round ones now which produce a lot of bubbles. The hot water temp also lowered oxygen levels causing plant stress. Also the new 4: SOG net is much better than the 6". I might use the 6" for the second net, but the 4" is very very nice. I also bought a GE air conditioner that will keep the air temps down to a goal of 80. The room was 103 the other day lol. #1 has been strong the whole time. Not one problem yet. #2 has recovered from root rot and is rebounding nicely now. I don't think it will harm flowering, but I have to make sure it doesn't happen again. #3 is growing strong since recovering from a poor seedling stage. It wouldn't break free of its seed coating. The leaves on this one are much darker and more round. #4 is experiencing mild root rot. It had its air line pinched under its bucket for upwards of 5 days by the time I noticed. I think it is partially rotting back, but it is flowering and looks like it is going to bounce back in 5 days or so. Hopefully not the 10 for #2.

Ok major things happened today. Added a second net, supercropped 12 long buds, and spaced out the canopy nicely. Half of what I supercropped are more or less upright the next day. #1 has 20 large bud sites. Plant hasn't had a single issue yet and is of even height #2 has fully recovered from root rot and just looks a week shorter than #1. #2 has 11 large bud sites and may stretch to form more in the next week. #3 is the strongest of all the plants with 28 large bud sites. This plant will be a winner for sure. Still no issues with this plant except its initial seedling issue. #4 has 11 large bud sites. 2 or 3 more days of root rot recovery I think. All leaves are standing up, and I trimmed away most of the old damaged leaves. All flowered more or less on the same day, Tues 5/18. I defoliated almost all the larger fan leaves and any leaf that looked like it would grow into a larger fan leaf in the next week. All in an effort to get light onto every bud sight so they can grow fat. I left pairs of leaves on the top of the main colas but I really trimmed away a lot of leaves over Sat and Thurs. About 4 to 5 bud sites are open and exposed on each branch, all things looking like a very strong harvest. Tues, Thurs, and Sat all required 6 gallons of nutrient solution filled into the buckets. RH has been 30% when the lights are on, and the plants are really drinking. About 10% when the plants are sleeping during the day. Daytime temps are now manageable too. This weekend I am not replacing the water as it looks very good, clean, and clear in all 4 buckets. I am simply adding 1/4 solution to refill each bucket every 2 or 3 days. Must stay on top of it otherwise the water gets to be as low as 3" in the bucket. For refilling, I cut veg nutrient in half to try to limit the stretch as I have about 12" left of vertical space to play with.

Everything is looking great! Summer temps this week were decent. Today Saturday is especially hot, maybe the hottest of the year. AC working well for now. I refilled the buckets with 1/4 diluted solution on Tuesday and Thursday. Total requiring 6 gallons each day. Saturday instead of changing the water I did the same as Tues and Thurs and needed the same amount of water. Will change it next weekend which will make it 3 weeks time since its last change. I'm using half the amount of grow formula to try to reduce stretch and leaf production. I don't think it is bothering the plant or slowing it down at all. Branches that were broken and bent over are all standing tall again. It gave the rest of the plant to catch up which has resulted in a nice overall flat table of growth. #3 is missing about 15% from full coverage and #4 is missing about 40% Bud is looking good and many formed up a lot this week. You can now tell several branches are going to have a nice stack of buds. #1 is looking excellent as always. Never a problem with this one. I trimmed a few suckers off this plant on Sat just to free up room for the other stems. I need to top the plant less in veg. Roots look excellent. #2 bounced back nicely. Roots excellent. Small growth in the middle that likely won't be harvested on the first cutting, but definitely 2nd cutting. Outer branches are strong as #1 and #3 #3 is also looking excellent and possible the best of the bunch. Many branches with buds stacking up already. Should be a good one. Roots are excellent #4 looks the worst but it is going to be just fine. The oxygen deprivation put its growth back about a week but now it is all green and strong. Again about a week behind the others probably in terms of harvest. There will be several outer buds that will be harvested first, about 10 or so. But most of this plant wll be taken on the 2nd and 3rd cutting. Roots look excellent again. Slightly concerned about more stretching. I have about 6in of height left. I need to switch to 12/12 a week sooner at least I defoliated larger fan leaves throughout the week. There were a few suckers that cropped up here and there which I mostly removed. Defoliating at the right time definitely is paying off now as I can see the buds fattening every day.

A very strong week overall. Refilled the buckets every two days for the last 14 days. Did not replace the water reservoir last week, just kept topping off. No adverse results. I just replaced the reservoirs and all 4 were crystal clear and all roots nice and white. I think I will do this moving forward at least more in the veg and flower stretch phases to slow the growth. #1 buds look great, canopy even, color is a deep green. Crystals forming. #2 fully recovered and trying to grow some fan leaves. Buds look slightly ahead of the other plants, canopy somewhat even, a few tall branches. Color is more of an olive green. Will get a lot on the 2nd cutting. #3 I think this one is the strongest ahead of #1. Buds look nicely stacked, canopy even, some branches taller than the avg and those branches will be the primo of the setup. Color is more of a pale green. Bottommost leaves are turning yellow and falling off. I don't consider this to be a bad thing but more of a result of the plant operating at full capacity under such powerful lights. Hopefully the reservoir replace will give it more nutrients? Maybe I'll give it a squirt of green idk #4 rebounded nicely. Wasn't ever root rot since no roots rotted away. Roots now look beautifully white. Buds forming nicely, canopy uneven, outer branches reaching out a bit. Color on this one is a slightly paler green. Will get more on the 2nd cutting. First week not giving it grow nutrients. I may skip the final week of nutrients all together to start flushing it early. The AC is a godsend, and the plant wouldn't be alive if it weren't for it.

Day 26 of flower! On the beginning of the week, Sat, I replaced the water with only 1/4th stength. Everything coming along fine. Water seems like it needs refilling daily now, about 1 gal per bucket per day. Very little defoliation during the week, just a few leaves covering any buds. Buds are continuing to build in height and starting to bulk up now. If all goes well, these will be monsters!! #1 Plant looks great. Still no problems. Darkest color of the 4 plants. It looks like it will ripen last of the bunch. Buds are uniform in height and size. Plant has never had a single problem yet. #2 looks great as well. More of an olive green. Not as uniform in shape because longer outer stems are at about a 45 degree angle. But does have a better chalice shape which encourages me to grow three plants in the space next time vs 4. #3 looks like it is ripening the soonest, maybe will be ready a week early. Fan leaves started turning yellow early in the week, generally all of them turning slightly pale, with the bottom leaves turning yellow and falling off. I have it a 1/4" shot of grow fertilizer a few times during the week and today as well. Buds look amazing and getting fatter and taller still #4 looks great as well. More of an olive green. Buds still developing nicely. I think this week may be the last week for fertilizer and then I will flush. for a week or two. Temps this week are forecasted to be as high as 117. Fingers crossed!!

All is still well on the grow. Temps past week 120 pretty consistently. A chicken died from the heat yesterday. Grow room is at about 90F max during the day, about 75 at night when the lights are on. Hoping the plants don't stress or foxtail. #1 still no issues at all. Not a single problem. Looks like this one will be harvested last. #2 maturing nicely. Nothing to report. #3 maturing the fastest. Maybe flush beginning this weekend and trim next week? #4 will probably mature second of the bunch. Looking great I just realized Rachel or Jordan will have to maybe dry trim or do 2nd or 3rd harvesting. I hope not!! We leave for Colorado June 12. Will be tight. I'm thinking I can get a majority of it in jars by then.

All seems to be growing well! Very eager to cut these down and get into jars. #1 is yellowing quickly now. May be the 2nd place finisher. Still no problems with this plant whatsoever #2 has some of the chunkiest buds in the grow. Looking great, maybe a week behind #1 and #3 #3 is days away from harvest. Hoping for July 1 to July 4th. #4 also has some very chunky buds and are still growing fatter. Still giving all four plants nutrients at 1/4 strength. Will flush maybe mid week this week.

First trim done! Started the flush on July 1. Cut it down Sat July 3rd. Cut down all colas on all 4 plants except 2 or 3 I left hanging to mature more. Almost each branch was stacked with buds and dense. Looked really good. I think I'm going to have a lot of bud after this! Buds last week were smelling like blue Tootsie Pops, but now it is smelling like a robust cologne. Want to note I ignored TDS for the entire grow. Used hose water with an RV filter and didn't seem to have any issues. Two of the plants died from lack of oxygen and revived. Battled heat stress and buds too close to the light slightly. Despite issues, the plants all produced a beautiful yield, and I can't wait to weigh them in a week. Still a lot of buds still on the plant which I or Rachel will cut down.
