Just picked up a Triple chocolate chip clone to go with my Stoopid Fruits. It will be trained using LST. Looks like an easy 3 (peace sign alignment) training. At least to begin with.
Began LST and her two days ago and she seems to be taking well to it as expected. So far it has been an easy go outside of an underwatering issue back in week 1.
The clone is taking well to the LST. Seems like a lot of new growth this week, new bud sites and the leaves are getting bigger in size. Warmer weather I think is partially to thank for that though!
Been about a month since the last update. Been fighting a PH and bug issue, gained about 2 inches in height, but she's getting much wider, looking to keep it more bushy than tall. Hopefully better weather and PH can kick it into gear.
I went on vacation for 5 days, the plant seemed to appreciate me leaving it the fuck alone for a hot minute. Haha. Grew about 2 inches in height but getting wider, which is the goal, to keep it shorter. Plant it looking good.
Weather has been good, this clone seems to be in a state of revegging, I'm assuming I put it out a little early, and maybe some over nutrienting, backed off the nutes for a bit. Still gre about 6 inches up and out.
I put a trellis on this week to try and organize these branches as it's time to let it grow upward now and it needs to keep structure. Two days after a heavy trim and trellis it popped 3-4 inches throughout the canopy.
Over the last 2 weeks she has grown as a whole about 6-8 inches, which is great being how squatty I purposefully made her. Branches are getting thicker and stronger, a good clean out of lower leaves and shoots this morning will hopefully aide to her continued progress health.
She isn't growing upwards in much hurry, but all the branches are strengthening. I did a big defoliation again, and added a 2nd trellis to help keep her spread out and strong in prep for flower. I was told by someone who works for the Dispensary where I got her, that she can get very chunky in flower so I made sure to stabilize her as best I could.
The TCC is building upwards through the 2nd trellis and developing strength in the stems. Still very minimal white pistils, it's early for flower so I'm not really expecting much change there for another couple weeks.
She came up about 3 more inches this week across the canopy. Pretty impressed with her resiliency as she grows so thick I have to prune her quite a bit every weekend and all she does is get stronger and stronger. This clone is a beast for as much LST and pruning I've done.
Finally kicked into flower! She's up to 41 inches and looking good! Started usingFox Farms Tiger Bloom, as well as more seaweed, once a week Blackstrap molasses along with and additional calcium supplement.
Flowers are starting to build in size, plant is looking healthy over all, cold nights may be attributing to the purple leaves, as the P.H. is good, and there is plenty of phosphorus and potassium in my nute mix.
Defoliated a bit this week, nothing really severe, just cleared out larf, big fan leaves that are not seeing any light, and bigger leaves that are shading bud sites, about 21 days into flower, she seems to be doing well overall with the exception of still battling thrips.
