ILGM - 2 and Scooby Snacks

Welcome to another grow from your boy NiceGuyGrows. This round we are going to see if we can get the ILGM Sunset Sherbert and Zkittlez to grow. We also have a bonus seed, which is a Scooby Snacks from Premium Seed Market. The two ILGM seeds are feminized and the Scooby is just normal. All seeds are photoperiod. Here is the end of week one. I think the Scooby is going to be a male but let's give it time and see. Shiot....... Exciting news for my garden. I went over to the dark side and bought a LED light. 1000 watt OG lamps to the new style LED. No more air conditioner in the tent. This grow may turn into a shit show. :)

Hey, hey everybody. We are all done with week 2. These pictures were taken on the last day of the week. What do I think of my new LED? The light is killing it in veg. I am able to see a noticeable difference compared to my last diary. The plants are more developed than when I used the 1000 watt HPS/MH. So far I am very impressed. One change has been my temp and RH levels. I lowered the temp from 75 down to 70 and lowered the RH from 65 to 60. Thank you for the help on that @FoTwenny. 💪 I am trying to mainline this grow so we will see how that goes.

Well I said it was going to be a shit show. Here we are at week 3 of flower. The Zkittlez plant broke in half back in week 3 of veg. I was trying to mainline but apparently you cannot arm wrestle your plants. 💪 Snapped it so bad that there was no going back. So that was the start of my issues. The Sunset Sherbet plant started strong but the LED was just not strong enough for her. Yes it is mostly my fault. My tent is 4x4 and I knew I would have some problems going from MH to LED. I think I need to buy another LED so I can get a nice equal PAR across the tent. Let's get back into my issues. Remember the Scooby snack plant that I was completely convinced was a MALE. Nope. It is just a fucking huge female. It is at least twice the size as the other two plants. I would have guaranteed it was a male so I didn't care that it was getting so much bigger than the other girls. But the LED was hitting that plant and not hitting the other two as well. So now I have an awful canopy. Oh and here is the big surprise......... I am back to using my 1000 watt MH.

Here are some pictures from the end of week 3 flower. Things are progressing much better now that I have the stronger MH going again. I pretty much screwed myself with the LED by having a huge uneven canopy. I will try the LED out again next grow. I propped up the Zkittlez and Sunset Sherbert plants so the canopy was better. I probably should have done that earlier. All the girls are looking nice and healthy. Zkittlez plant is my mutant beauty. They only had 4 weeks in veg due to some timing constraints. I would have liked to train them all a couple/few more weeks. Of course the Scooby snacks is gigantic. I still cannot believe it is a female.

Where do I start? Oh yeah, I ate some caramels and am very high. 😋😂 I think I found the best recipe ever. Let me know if anyone is interested. Here is the end of week 4 flower. The girls are getting more acclimated to the new light and environment. That was one thing that was much different going from LED to MH. My air conditioner runs often when I use my 1000 watt MH. So my AC actually acts as my dehumidifier. I had to run my dehumidifier when I was running the LED. But I preferred using the actual dehumidifier to control the RH levels. I really do see a lot of the benefits to running an LED light system. I am just not there yet. The girls are all looking pretty good. The Sunset and Zkittlez plants got a little bit taller. The Scooby plant continues to dominate the garden. I am still using some 5 gallon buckets to boost the two smaller plants closer to the light. It seems to be working fine so I will just continue with the stadium seating. 😉

Here we are at the end of week 5. Sorry the weeks are messed up above but I do not know how to change it. Girls are doing great. I was getting some slight nutrient burn on some of the leaves. It was very minor but I have been keeping my eye on them. Other than that things are going ok. My camera was out of battery so we are using the iphone for these photos. Hey at least I label the plants this time. :)

End of week 6 flower. This has been a pretty shitty journal so sorry for that. I think I screwed up my nutrients on here. If you seriously want to know my nutrient schedule, I follow Heavy 16 feeding chart. My garden is good but I think I screwed up the amounts on here. Other than that things are going ok. I am still getting some nutrient burn which I am not used too. I haven't changed anything from my last few grows. The biggest difference was that I was trying to be closer on the Vapor saturation. But I was thinking that this would help the plants take in the nutrients. Well I don't know but they are still doing ok. I have also noticed some fox tailing which is annoying. Once again I have been checking the temp and don't think it is an issue. I got the camera back working tonight but I forgot how to take pictures. Not like I knew what the hell I was doing before. :) Oh well this is all for fun anyways.

Here is the end of week 7 flower. Wow, I can't believe how fast these last few weeks have gone. Only 2 more to go. I am trying a little something different with my pictures so I hope they are worth looking at. I finally got a tripod and decided to try my zoom lens. Can't believe I just got a tripod. Gamechanger. The girls are all nice and frosty. And I am happy to report we are going to have some purps this round. I am so happy. 💪😃👍 See you next week fellow growers

There goes week 8 of flower. No more nutrients for these girls. Let us see how the flush goes. Damn fox tailing issue is getting worse. I am pretty frustrated. I switched from LED to HPS weeks ago so that couldn't be it. I haven't even been defoliating lately just because I don't want them to stress more. Could they not be getting enough air circulation and stressing? I added another fan last grow and it seemed to help the air circulation a lot. Let me know if anyone has any ideas. I religiously check the RH and temps throughout the garden. The tops of the buds were getting 75 degrees at the hottest. With all that said, the buds still look pretty decent. Frosty and smelly for sure. And a little purple. :)

All 3 girls have been harvested. Taste and smell are pretty awesome. I wish the buds on the Zkittlez and Sunset Sherbet would have been better. Too much foxtailing so the buds are not as dense as I would like.
