I have 7 Gorilla Glue seeds placed directly into the Rapid Rooter pellets. At the moment they are only under a single 600W LED light. When the plants get larger, then a second 600W LED light will be brought in. Thinking of trying several different growing methods to try to increase yields. My main goal for this round is to be able to provide the correct amount of nutrients. The last round the nutrient part got a little confusing and I fell off of really monitoring them. The levels were only half of what they were suppose to be. I'm also setting a goal to double the amount I receive from each plant. The first round averaged to about 1 oz (28g) per plant. This time I want 2oz (56g) per plant at the very least. Let the growing commence. I just planted the seeds 4/10/21. So we'll go from there

Had all seeds sprout by the 3rd day. One of the seeds sprouted upside down and I turned it right side up. It continued to grow for a bit it eventually gave up. Another plant was growing its roots so long and wonky that I had to transplant it early so it doesn't fall out of the grow pod. All other plants are doing great. We have one see germinating to replace the one seed that we lost and it's already sprouting. Will only be few days behind the others. We also have our last Strawberry and Cream F2 strain seed growing in the corner spot of the tray. It will be nice to compare strains in real time. No nutrients added as of yet.

Plants are really taking off nicely. The last Strawberry and Cream F2 plant we have is a bit behind the other plants. The other plants are already producing those secondary leaves. I dropped the pH meter into the water when I was checking levels and it broke and I had no back up meter. Lesson learned. I ordered 2 pH meters this time around. One is for backup. Thankfully none of the plants were damaged by the long time between pH monitoring. pH levels are around 5.7. Plant number 3 is growing a little weird. Doesn't really look like a cannabis plant at this point. I can see the first true cannabis leaves coming through. We replaced the one plant that died with a new seed. It sprouted upside down too. I was able to right side it up an it is taking nicely.

This week the plants have really shot up this week. We also had to upgrade our exhaust fan system. We had a 4in fan when we really needed a 6in fan system that can accommodate a 5x5 grow room. We noticed a huge difference in the temp immediately. Strawberry and Cream F2 plant is one of the smaller ones in the group. Only 3 of Gorilla Glue strain were large enough for us to Top this week. We have repeated last weeks nutrients levels. The General Hydroponic Nutrient Schedule we are using from the website only has 4 weeks for the vegetation cycle. So, we just repeat each weeks levels one time to get us to the 8 week nutrient levels we need. The plants are doing great with the updated schedules they have.

Plants are really starting to shoot up. The end plants are doing better than the center plants. All the plants have been Topped now. The typical cannabis smell is starting to come through. Aggressive feeding schedule by GH seems to be going well. The plants are loving the nutes and their fan leaves are huge this time around. Even the Strawberries and Cream F2 is doing pretty great. Thinking we may need a third light come flowering time. I'm waiting for the stretch period to implement the LST this time around and see how that goes. The new 6in fan is amazing. Real difference in temp. regulation. Invest in the right size fan. It's worth it!

The plants are looking beautiful and healthy green. They've really shot up this week. Gorilla glue is about twice the size of the Strawberries and Cream F2 strain at 16 inches vs 9inches in height. The plants will definitely be ready to start flowering next week. I may need to Top the tallest plants a second time right before the switch to a 12-12 light schedule to help keep them getting too tall before I can't do anything about it. We have a runt in the litter. Might be some light coverage issues or just the way it is. No real issues with the plants except the Strawberries and Cream. The aggressive nutrient schedule was a little much for it at first, but its finally catching up. I am also being a little more aggressive in the trimming which branches are the weakest and won't deliver much flower in the end. This cycle is a lot smoother.

We have officially switched over to flowering (about a week or 2 too late). This Gorilla Glue strain is a beast soaking up all these nutrients and growing amazingly fast and HUGE. It's seriously like a jungle in the grow tent. I have just a simple DWC Hydroponic setup with 5 gallon buckets and this round is a bit cumbersome when maneuvering the plants around so I can refill their bucket every few days. Especially with 8 plants. I was not anticipating how big this strain would get. I had to top ALL the plants a second time to try to curb the height a bit. I'm afraid they may get too close to the ceiling/lights. Live and learn, amirite. I have to remember to keep in mind that no matter how long the plant has been vegging, the limiting factor here is height space (for the most part), so I want to make sure from here on out to switch to flowering mode no later than when the plant is 12in. tall, 16 inches max. This will allow the proper light distance from the plants and I won't have risk them stretching too tall. The last remaining Strawberries and Cream F2 is still smaller than the other strain as is kind of struggling a little bit with the aggressive feeding nutrient levels. We also had to rearrange the entire grow room/tent to accommodate their size by accessing it from both sides. We're also thinking about switching it up the hydroponic system to a drip system or something similar. This would take off the unnecessary stress being done to the plants by picking them up out of their buckets to refill with water and check pH levels.

Ok so we had to get rid of 3 plants because it got so crowded in the grow tent we couldn't lift the plants to refill/change the water without potentially damaging the surround plants. We are definitely going to need a reservoir tank if want to do a bigger/more efficient grow. Which we are already looking into. Even though 3 plants have been taken out, the remaining plants have still filled the tent. We made sure to keep the last remaining Strawberries and Cream plant. It's a lot easier to move around now.

So far this strain grows amazingly fast and huge. We have had 100% germination rate so far from the pack we have used (we still have half of the seeds left to use though).

The grow was a BUST. We waited too long to switch to flowering and they grew so big, so quick we had to keep pruning them well into flowering so they would not grow into the lights. The stress was too much and the whole crop hermied out. Completely our fault. Instead of wasting more resourced on them, we decided to scrap the whole thing. The leaves harvested will be used for topical CBD Pain relief balm. Know your growth boundaries people. Live and learn.
