These little ladies have been moved to their fabric pots and so far seem to be doing well. We had an issue with damping off and unfortunately lost some others. We look forward to a nice easy grow before the outdoor fun begins, hopefully it grows without a hitch!
As you can see we are off to the start of something beautiful, the only plant that is struggling is the black Opium but we are rooting for her and hope she pulls through. It is unfortunate that she will most likely not recover from her stunt completely if she chooses to live, she is hanging on so far. The white widow has some odd colouring to her leaves but she is in a healthy groove.
We have unfortunately lost the Black Opium in this line up but the other three are doing well. We have some albinism throughout the White Widow and she looks lovely to say the least, Kabul is well on her way and doing great along with the Purple Opium. Hopefully we have a great week and these girls keep in their groove!
These girls are well on their way to being what they will be and they are doing a great job at it. The white widow is a good 24 inches tall and we will have to do something about this, she just keeps growing. Kabul is magnificent and full, her body is round and she is a beautiful looking bush. Purple Opium is already in flower mode and she seems to be doing fine so we are quite pleased. They are moving fast and they are healthy!
Great week for these girls, they are doing amazingly well. It is hard to diary a proper height as they are all very different. The White Widow is a tower and the shape of Kabul is perfection, as for the Purple Opium she is a tiny plant but also very beautiful. We did a bit of clean up but nothing to drastic, the Kabul has yet to show her blooms.
While we await for Kabul to show signs of blooming we are very much loving the look of the White Widow. The Purple Opium is working at her own pace and she is quite lovely although she is very much different from our other. A week without complaints is a good week, we hope to continue the groove.
The last two weeks have gone by in a blink and as you can see the White Widow is the star of this lineup! As for the Purple Opium, she has had a few issues and hopefully they have been rectified. Originally it was a PM problem although a thorough wipe-down cleared that up but then she developed what looked like rust spots so a bit of (used) dried up coffee ground was sprinkled to the top of her soil bed and she seems to be doing better. Kabul on the other hand has not gone into flower, we have read about the odd and rare occurrence when an auto flower plant actually needs a 12/12 light cycle. We thought she must be a photo but it does not seem to be the case as she does not grow like a normal photo period would! Either way, she will have to wait for that switch a little while longer.
This girl did well, she had a time cycle and light change part way through and it didn’t phase her. We will enjoy her some more once she has cured for a while longer although we have been smoking her from the moment it was possible!
