Week 7 started out strong with me working on some leaf placement and trying to keep light penetration maximized in the canopy. Gotta get a humidifier into the tent, the whole space option I was trying is not working. She smells like sweet and tangy strawberry with it fading to more of a citrus smell mid week. I will update on Friday or Saturday (Day 50). Bud sites are filling in and I'm hopeful we'll have something worth while.
Day 49 Update-I'm blown away by these plants. The change in them after their dark cycle each day is wild to see I almost want to get a small camera to record in there for a full day and run it sped up in a time-lapse type thing. Both are looking good after getting only water the last two feeds for Dori and 1 feed for Guppy. I'm going to let them go ahead and dry out a bit further and then feed both on day 50 with 1ml/l Cal-Mag and .5ml/l on the others. I'm thinking about picking up some Overdrive or Big Bud to add to the mix tomorrow. Keeping an eye on Dori I'm noticing some lightening in the color of her leaf middles. The pics I tried to take of it didn't come out well so if it looks more exaggerated in the morning I'll get some more detailed pics and go from there.
I'm thinking about adding either Overdrive or Big Bud to the nutrient list so my question is two fold. I think I have probably 4-5 more weeks of flowering is it worth it to add more nutes now? I would also appreciate anyone's opinion on using these independently vs together.
So the plant I was worried might have a cal-mag deficiency coming on had slightly more yellow leaf middles and undersides. Tonight those have all started to go a deep purple color like some of her fan leaf stems. Does anyone know if this is common with the Forbidden Runtz?
@Vincent_Van_Grogh, Great name! I appreciate the vibes and I know the girls do. First attempt so I am trying to keep the focus on this being a learning experience but I feel way more attached to them than I thought I was going to.
@Lacrima, Thank you! I'm trying to get this caught up and keep it current for the remainder of the grow. Open to suggestions on anything I might could do better from grow or journal perspective.
Good luck with your harvest . Cannot give you opinions on harvest still newbie my self π€£. There some good growers on YouTube that can def give the answer you want to know .
@thebyrdman, yeah it is learning every day . And like you said go with you instincts . Everybody has dif preference about cloudy Milky etc . Good luck making your decision when time is right ππ
@DevilsBud, I appreciate it. I checked some Mr. Canuk's stuff and Grow Bud Yourself to try and get a good answer but I decided to go ahead and go with instinct after a final trich check. The top half of the plant was quickly headed to 40 or 50% amber so we shall see if I made the right choice!
@SegaYGriega, Thanks alot, I'll take a look at your grow! I do think they are looking good but I'm monitoring what looks like a bit of a calcium deficiency in one and maybe a little nitrogen toxicity in the other. Trying to get them in a sweet spot to finish out.
Looking good and progressing very nicely !! Best of luck !
Please feel free to check out some of my recent grows and share some love (Tropicana cookiez/Venom OG/Banana Mango ) π
Hey growmie. Good effort for your 1st grow. Always remember mistakes and growth patterns ect as these will only be beneficial to you moving forward.
Enjoy your harvest βοΈ
Hey there, I've always found with autos to start and finish them in the same pot I.e the finishing pot as they grow so fast and don't have alot of time for recovery. Photoperiod is different and can take a few days extra to repair and be fine. Just a thought based on what I have experienced and researched about autos.
Peace
