These went into peat pellets on 4/15 and were showing just slightly on the AM burp. Burped at lunchtime and 2 were already pushing out. Evening of 4/16 they went into light got a gentle misting and recovered with their humidity hood. This is my first time swapping them to a diff tent for light and only my 3rd germination so I didn't transfer my warming mat this time around. Tent temp=70*F 42% Humidity. GP seed might also be LJ and it isn't showing however, it's been 1 day so not too worried as it is a photo. Most of these will be headed to the wild blue yonder.

Using the 16th as day one. Everyone got going somewhat except for one of the SB seeds. She had a little movement but seems to have decided something isn't right. Sorted her to a diff trey and put her back in the other tent under the hood for more humidity. Day 7-SB seed has still not moved, going to call her a dud and hope for better on the others. A couple of the other autos have pushed p strange and have their cotyledons restricted by the seed casing. I took tweezers to try and assist but it was still attached via something so I left it alone.

I have one runt and my tent plant with the group now and over the weekend they went into the ground this week. Writing this with the benefit of looking backward I put them out to early and cold temps afterward has negatively impacted them though they are hanging on. Moving forward everything will be focused on one FB that I selected early and the little tiny girl in the pics who I'm going to try and nurse to productivity.

I was out of town for a few days and wow, pretty sure I was overwatering resulting in stunting the plants growth. When I got back they had exploded after being watered the Thursday before we left, watered by someone else with my premixed nutes on Saturday and then watered again on Monday late evening. Watering about 60ml per plant with 1 m/l of each and using TaNg's Feeding schedule found on AFN. I had to adjust the schedule he uses because my plants were a bit small and I was worried they might burn. I did start towards the end of week two with the nutrient solution but forgot to note it. When I got back I noticed some burn on the tips of Dori's lower leaves and thought she had a little yellowing on the upper new growth and I thought it might be light burn since they had grown so quickly while I was out and Guppy wasn't showing any signs. Raised the LED 2" to 22" and waited a day. No changes so I thought we were good and refed with Cal-Mag added incase the center leaf yellowing might was beginning of a magnesium deficiency. Unfortunately as you will see on Week 4 pics it spread and got worse. -Outdoor gals are struggling. Temps were cool AGAIN while we were gone and downpour rain Sunday after their feeding and a hailstorm on Monday really abused them. Supported stems to get them out of the dirt and gently rubbed as much dirt off of them as well. Also something eating pieces out of the leaves. Doesn't look like any of the common pests so thinking it might possibly be grasshoppers? Gonna consult the hydro store locally and see what they suggest.

Do I somehow lost part of the photos I took but I tried to share the ones I had where you can see the curl and burn really showingitself on Dori. I did a mild flush on her on the 9th and new growth was good color on the 10th. Refed a tuned back nute solution on the 11th and new growth started to color. "Flushed" again, I was using instruction from a source that seems to have bene wrong and that cost me a couple of days of fixing this which sucks because on Saturday day 30 Dori started to put out her first little white hairs. Pretty sure I missed my window to LST these girls because I was so worried about stressing them from the burn. Still might try with Guppy once I get her transplanted to her final home. I've decided I def can't feed her to the wolves with the other Auto's struggling outside. More updates coming for the current week. Beginning of week 5 looking to be busy. -Outside Update-Another barely 70* days week and low 60's nights. All were essentially at the same point as the week before and pest issues do not seem to have gotten worse. We sprayed the other half of the plot with Miracle Grow tomato mix to hopefully keep a diversion. Took some photos and think I've found a solution that won't effect the plants to apply during the week.

Early part of the week the plants were drying from their flush but filling out nicely. 5/19 we had a pretty monster humidity spike to 80% at the peak. Got them out of the tent and into some sun while I set up the dehumidifier to run and installed my full new ventilation system. More details to come along with Day 36 pics. They finally dried out from their flushes and I resumed a 2ml/l feed on Sensi Bloom A/B and 1ml/l CalMag+. I then PH'd the water to 6.0-6.5 range and fed about half a liter each. Tried a couple LST clips on Dori but her branches I wanted to move were feeling pretty tough. I may go ahead and try some LST tie offs or wait for the side branches to develop just a bit further before working them through the trellis net I have. Interested to know if once the trellis net is in if I could bend the top of the main cola down to promote total growth or if I'm just too late in development to stress it like that. Next grow goal will be to not stunt the plants in early seedling and try to get LST started in week 3. Also going to go to 5 gal Smart pots and get a bigger light so I don't have so many coverage issues.

Summer is here and so is the humidity. I haven't had any spikes like last week thanks to the new AC infiniti but I have gotten up into the 72-75 range a couple times with my goal being about 65%. Going to have to find a small dehumidifier for inside the tent or potentially try a little can fan in one of my lower vent ports to promote overall air flow. I really don't think that is a solution though since the fan I got has more than enough cfm to cover my tent and the additional efficiency drags. My second fan of this grow has decided that it is also no longer going to oscillate so I need to track down a new one quickly. Right now I have the fan rigged to kind of pendulum. More details to come, they should be ready for a feed on D39 so I will likely do some before pics and then do a little clean up to get some lower scrag off the plant and trim a few interior fan leaves that are blocking sites. Pretty nervous about doing that for the first time but hopeful I do it correctly. Day 38 they smelled like Strawberry laffy taffy, I'm getting pretty excited. D39 Update 1-Dori has a slight yellowing on the tiniest tips of a couple leaves. If that is from nutrients she must be incredibly sensitive, I've dialed my nutes back to the day 10-20 feeding and am going to get a different syringe that has more detailed markings in the event I'm overdrawing. Cut the current nutrient solution by a quarter for this feed on Dori. Filled a liter bottle to 250ml distilled water then filled the rest of the liter with nutrient solution from gallon, mixed and PH'd. Fed 1/2 Liter day 39. Guppy is still damp so going to check her late evening and most likely give her until tomorrow to water and trim. She is not showing any signs of burn this time around either. Update 2- Trimmed Dori up some including removing an interior fan leaf that was blocking almost 3 other bud sites. D40 Update-Trimmed Guppy and fed her the same watered down nute mixture as Dori. Did just about 1/3 of a liter and then just under 1/4 to Dori since she was dried out in the majority of her soil. Tried 2 different LST clips on her to move bud sites into better positioning with the rest of the plants Got the direction I wanted but waiting on them to turn face up. Hoping they make the change overnight. D41 Update-Not much to report, both girls are now the same size and Guppy has bent her head just slightly to get exactly the sun she wants. 600 watt is not cutting it for the 3x3 and I'm trying to figure out the logistics of getting a TS1000 as quick as possible. I did take the LST clips off since I had the shape and direction I wanted. Hoping they will stand back up with the extra weight removed and I can work them into the trellis net in the next few days. Quartered my nutes again and fed each a little more than 1/4 liter. Dori has a few yellow tips but I'm hoping that was from the feeding reported for the week and she is taking the quartered version well. Seems to be drinking a lot more now. D42 Update-Guppy has officially caught up to Dori and is looking very healthy. Her top took a slight bend toward the center of the tent, maybe for light but the whole plant has stretched a good deal. I'm honestly kind of sad I didn't try to LST her when she was tiny, she might have turned into a monster. Dori's bud sights are starting to thicken up nicely and lots of her leaves are frosting over as she goes. I will get some pics tomorrow and update with a D43 weekend update. Dori's pot was almost completely dried out again so fed just under 1/4L of the quartered solution and gave Guppy the rest as she isn't drying out quite as fast. She's been about 2-3 days slower than Dori through most of the process so I have a feeling that by the end of the weekend she is going to be just as thirsty. Other Plants Update: Sadly non of my FB Strawberry Banana Auto 5 pack made it. 3 failed to germ and the other 2 struggled to shed their seed casing and ended up with damaged cotyledons. After that they developed slowly and finally succumbed to nature. Outside Auto's are not going to produce either. The cold weather stunted them and the constant storms left the stems leggy and unable to support themselves. They are now about 9 inches tall if you can get them to stand up and went into flowering. Too small to produce. Photos that are outside are starting to look a bit better. No new pest issues.

Week 7 started out strong with me working on some leaf placement and trying to keep light penetration maximized in the canopy. Gotta get a humidifier into the tent, the whole space option I was trying is not working. She smells like sweet and tangy strawberry with it fading to more of a citrus smell mid week. I will update on Friday or Saturday (Day 50). Bud sites are filling in and I'm hopeful we'll have something worth while. Day 49 Update-I'm blown away by these plants. The change in them after their dark cycle each day is wild to see I almost want to get a small camera to record in there for a full day and run it sped up in a time-lapse type thing. Both are looking good after getting only water the last two feeds for Dori and 1 feed for Guppy. I'm going to let them go ahead and dry out a bit further and then feed both on day 50 with 1ml/l Cal-Mag and .5ml/l on the others. I'm thinking about picking up some Overdrive or Big Bud to add to the mix tomorrow. Keeping an eye on Dori I'm noticing some lightening in the color of her leaf middles. The pics I tried to take of it didn't come out well so if it looks more exaggerated in the morning I'll get some more detailed pics and go from there.

I'm thinking about adding either Overdrive or Big Bud to the nutrient list so my question is two fold. I think I have probably 4-5 more weeks of flowering is it worth it to add more nutes now? I would also appreciate anyone's opinion on using these independently vs together.

I think you can use both at the same time. If you only have 4 or 5 weeks left I would give it to them for a few weeks before flush.

So the plant I was worried might have a cal-mag deficiency coming on had slightly more yellow leaf middles and undersides. Tonight those have all started to go a deep purple color like some of her fan leaf stems. Does anyone know if this is common with the Forbidden Runtz?

Runtz does have purple in the genetic so I'm not surprised you have purple showing. Looking at your plant it looks like its doing fine

Noticed a little tip yellowing in each but Day 50 or So Dori's leaf veins in the main cola went purple after going a light yellow green. Potentially a calmag issue I thought and further yellowing seemed to confirm. Day 52 fed .75Liters each with just under 1ml/l CalMag and PH'd to ~6.5. Tonight I took photos of some of the spotting that has started to happen, looks most like a Calmag issue so hoping that the feeding from last night prevents the spread. Will be watching closely and any tips are recommended. Day 54 fed .5L each with 2.5ml/L Fish Shit as recommended by hydro store locally. D 55 no real change plants still slightly damp Day 56 fed .5L each with 1ml/L of Bloom A/B, and Carboload with 2.5ml/L of Fish shit, .5ml/L Overdrive, and 2 ml/l of Cal-Mag to hopefully reverse what is looking like a calcium deficiency. Plants were dry and ready for water and perked within an hour afterward. Day 57-AM which is before their lights out not much change but the two most effected leaves were showing increased spotting and black spots. Really looking for help identifying this and fixing. PM-Color and perk looked a lot better after their lights out but the worst effected leaves were showing their spots much clearer and the center veins lower on the plant where everything is still nice dark green is starting to go purple like the top did. Picked up some recharge and looking to water with Cal-Mag, Recharge, and Fish Shit tonight or flush depending. Halp! PM Update-Flushed with 1L of 2 ml/L CalMag and a .7g dose of Recharge. That didn't drain them into the pans this time so I fed another .5L to finish the flush. Fed Dori 6.5PH and Guppy 6.2PH. Vivosun pen broke immediately following calibaration so I bought a nicer pen locally and I'm exact now!

D58-Week 9-START! Still trying to get the deficiency under control. We're 24 ours now with no change after doing a flush with part Cal-mag and water and part recharge and water. I'm hoping I wash some of the extra salts out and still give it some of the Cal-Mag since that is what my deficiency looks like most. One pic where you can kind of see the the color transitions that are going on. Any thoughts appreciated. D59-Going to let dry for another day. Deficiencies do not seem to have worsened so going to leave them alone for today and just keep checking in on them. D60-AM Update-Deficiency looked a bit worse on a couple of leaves, looking back at some of the pics though it could just be that they have gotten darker on a couple of leaves as opposed to just appearing. Current game plan is to water once they wake up with PH'd water and Calmag. Considering going up to about 2.5-3ml/l on the CalMag to see if that takes care of it. Going to likely mix separate today as Guppy doesn't seem to be having as many issues and I believe may benefit from getting the full feed as opposed to Dori reacting negatively every time I give her nutes. I'm really unhappy with her medium's consistency and drainage as it seems much clumpier and compacted than Guppy's. Will be moving to larger cloth pots and doing a soil/pumice mix for the next batch. PM Update-Plants woke up and one of the fan leaves I had been considering trimming off of Dori was showing some additional deficiency growth. Several of the upper leaves are also showing similarly progressed so I watered with 2.5ml/L Cal Mag, 1.5ml/L CarboLoad, and .5ml/L Overdrive. Gave her a total of .5L solution PH'd at 6.5 exact. Did the same for Guppy to try and hone in on if she is facing nitrogen toxicity (going less N on this feed) or if the tip turn down for her is from how quickly she shot up close to the light. Likely hooking up the new Mars Hydro 1000TS tonight, hoping that gives better light coverage throughout the tent for the remainder of flowering. D61-Slight discoloration continued on upper leaves with some getting worse. Since the paired down nute feed after flush doesn't seem to have done anything but feeding with the paired down overall solution seemed to have stopped it for about 48 hours next feed I'm going to go back to the full nute solution and try to dial in the dose. Guppy showing a little bit of deficiency in the upper foliage in late PM but soil still damp right under the surface. Dori's upper cola's are trending toward majority cloudy on the trichs. I think 2-3 weeks more should be about right but will monitor more closely. D62-AM update: Deficiency is progressing again. Pretty sure at this point it is not just a CalMag issue but I really don't know. Referencing @FastBuds Advanced feeding schedule I'm going to do 1ml/l each on my bloom A/B, 2ml/l on CalMag, .5ml/l Overdrive, 1ml/l Carboload and 1ml Fish Shit. Will update once fed and with PH'd final exact. Shooting for 6.5 again. Going to go .75L each this feed as well since they sucked up that 1.5L each flush quicker than previously. (1.5, 3, .75, 1.5 ml/l total mix) PM Update-After dark time and feeding they seemed perkier and happier overall with some additional smell coming from them. Dori's upper leaves are fairly colored but now it really is starting to look more like a fade than a serious issue. D63-AM update: Lot of fall colors in the top of Dori and she's sugaring up a lot and trending towards purple in a lot of neat ways. Really hoping I can figure this camera out to put up some of the photos. I do have a little bit of wind burn on one of my small lower leaves that is stuck out in a weird angle but upon further inspection it doesn't seem too be effecting anything else in the area. PM Update: Looking pretty decent after waking up, both are praying to the new light so I'm feeling good at it's placement 18" above. Buds visibly looked to have bulked and lots of hairs starting to turn brown. Dori has gone into a full fall fade in the tops and is starting to eat her lower fans and support leaves so I will probably trim a few of those when I water tomorrow. Likely will need to be an AM water since they are close to ready now. Trich Check: Dori top 50-60% cloudy with just a couple Amber. Lower bud sites are still 70+% clear. It's possible I may need to harvest Dori's top first and then potentially do the remainder at the same time as Guppy. Guppy is still about 40% cloudy in the top so I'm guessing maybe 2-3 weeks respectively. Might need to consider changing the fan setup around. For sure going to do a tent interior overhaul before the next plants go in. I've got a small inline fan I am going to use to start bringing air into the tent in the hopes to increase the filtration and bring down humidity and temp just a bit further. Temps have been hanging between 73-77 and humidity between 56-63% which I am pretty happy with but I am also looking at having to dry in the same tent so I need to get that temp down about 10 degrees if at all possible.

Life has been super hectic since this weekend so I didn't get updates in here as I would have liked but I did make some notes on my calendar so I could keep track of everything. D65-Week 10 start! Dori's deficiency was looking more and more like an end of life fade but I burnt some of her tips on the top and caused them to brown up too fast. She is still fattening but trichs are looking mostly cloudy with a tad of amber. D66-Fade in Guppy's top is coming on quickly now so I went ahead and checked her for the first time in several days and majority of her trichs are also milky but very little amber in her still. Fed each .5L PH6.3 water only, looking like it's flush time. Used 2ml/l of Fish Shit for this watering to encourage salt breakdown as suggested by the hydro store. D67-Lower fans on Dori starting to fade out and some of the ones in better direct light are beginning to curl in addition. I'm resisting the urge to trim them off the plant since I don't want to cause anymore stress and she is still putting on some bud bulk. Fed .5L water only at 6.6PH D68-Dori is at 75% cloudy and 10% amber down the entire plant now. Lower right side cola is slightly less cloudy than the others but getting much closer. Fed Guppy .75L Water only at 6.2PH, Dori was still damp so waiting on her. D69-I will do some trich check again this afternoon but I'm feeling pretty confident they are going to be ready to chop this time next week. Should have about a 10 day flush on them at that point. Need to research the benefits of 48hr of darkness. D70-PH'd 6.5 .5L for Dori, water only. Trich checks are showing about 20-30% amber in the top part of the buds and about 15% in the lowers. Guppy has moved along quickly going from predominantly cloudy with new clears coming in and little to no amber to about 15-20% amber best I can tell D71-1L 6.4 PH water only for Guppy late night.

D72- We are approaching day 7 of flushing and feeding water only. They each got one more what I think will be the final soaking. I checked trich's extensively (kinda sunburned one side of my face from the light) and Dori is looking about 30-40% amber in the tops to about the halfway point in the plant. The lower outliers have about 10-20% amber but has put out some additional clear trichs since day before yesterday. I'm contemplating doing a half and half chop for the tops and then the lowers a few days later. However, I don't know much about that and with this being my first harvest and first dry I'm a little nervous to go that route. However, I'm also a little nervous about not letting her reach full maturity. I see what people mean about helicoptering these things and it being a constant learning process. As it stands right now though she is going to hit her 6hr dark cycle for the day and I think I'm going to leave her in 24hr of dark and harvest Monday 6/28 at noon. If anyone has any opinions I would really appreciate it. D73 Harvest day-Plants had 26hrs of Darkness leading into this. First harvest so I'm going to create a harvest page and try to be detailed.

Dry Tester Update-Guppy dried for 5 days and was ready for trim and jar. She weighed out to just under 1oz less the tester nugs I ground to try. Came out very mild from the dry but with a sweet almost vanilla cream front with a little bit of a fruity sour finish. High was quite euphoric and heavy behind the eyes after just a few puffs. Whole house approved. Dori needed an additional day for part of her I think in part due to the thicker stem. She was much more resiny and made trimming a pain but I got it. She came in at 39.22 and we pinched a couple small buds to try. This was one of the most complex flavor profiles I've ever smoked. Through the bowl she went through multiple different flavors starting out with a fresh floral fruity taste that mellows into a caramel cake taste with just a hint of bitter fruit and then finishing with a fruity flavor in your nasal passages. I'm thoroughly impressed and going to have to find some more of this to run when I have a better handle on what I'm doing. Super stoked to see how the cure comes out as Guppy is smelling pretty grassy while burping and Dori is already smelling wonderful. I will report back in 2-3 weeks with a final smoke report update. Harvested on Day 73 which also wound up being my Birthday! I think it is possible she could have benefited from another week of trich development in the lower parts of the plant but the tops were rapidly heading for 50% amber. This was a learning experience and there are a number of things I want to try differently moving forward. This time around I decided on doing a trim of the bigger fans and then doing a branch at a time dry. While the weather looks good for the next 7 days there is no guarantee I won't see massive heat or humidity spikes in the exterior temps which will bring my tent temps above what I would prefer to do a whole plant hang. I'm hoping that by going with branches since these buds are so dense and thick I will avoid mold in the event of humidity or temp fluctuations. Currently the tent is hanging between 73-77*F and 55-57% humidity. I have the AC infinity system running as normal and I installed a can fan for additional intake air. One fan in the lower corner of the tent just moving some air around. Nothing on the buds directly. I will report back through the drying and curing process and then provide a full smoke report. I really wanted to get a wet weight as a reference but the larger scale I ordered appears to have been lost by Amazon so trying to see if I can rig something up for a quick weight check on each plant day after harvest if I can't find a larger scale locally.
