Starting a new one this week. Royal Queen seeds Green Gelato! I have grown RQS before with some royal gorilla. Nice plant, very big and high THC. So I know this one is going to be good. I’m using sohum soil and water only. I’m trying a new bucket watering system this go. Gro bucket.
Soaking them for 48 hours and then planting.
Trying out topping in this grow. Topped on day 18, seems to have recovered already. She is drinking from the bottom of the bucket now, and seems to really like it. Everything is going well and looking forward to the start of flower. Happy happy plants.
She grew 7 inches in a week. Starting to stretch a lot and showing many hairs. Battling some bugs but other than that all is well. Looks like next week will be flowering!!! Until then........
We are officially in flower! She is growing up and up. Starting to really get hairy. Very light hint of yummy smells. The structure of this plant is very nice. Very tight nice spacing. Cannot wait for next week. Thanks for checking it out. Still only water given. No nutes.
All is well this week. Battling humidity but other than that not a thing to complain about. I’m thinking the stretch might be slowing now. Did a defol to try and get some more air thru her. Budsites are plentiful and looking good. A slight smell is there, healthy, and I am very glad I topped this one because it is still very tall for my tent. Thanks for checking my diary out. Week 7 day 49!! Ol green gelato is a tall tall plant. Had to do some super cropping, she has outgrown my tent. It is def a sativa and boy am I glad I topped her. Never done any hst so I hope I didn’t f it up. I should have trained her more in the beginning. Beautiful plant and is starting to smell absolutely wonderful. Lots and lots of long colas that are covered in flowers. Thanks for checking me out and until next week.
She finally quit growing!!! Recovered nicely from the super cropping. Smells very strong and I am very glad to have a carbon filter!!! Def a sativa for sure. Starting to get some fade on the big lower fan leaves. Day 56 in the books. See all you next week for week 9. Pumped for this one. Never grown a gelato and it was on my list.
Thank goodness for carbon filters!!! This baby is smelling something fierce. In a very good way of course. One of the frostiest strains I have grown. The buds are almost turning white. Very strong and can’t believe it took the hst. I think I might off added a week by doing it though. Cannot wait to taste this one, I’m a sativa guy too. U until next week. Should be getting close. 🤪
Almost ready for the chop. Just saw a couple of amber trichomes on her. Day 70 from sprout, and she is smelling fabulous. Very sweet and fruity. Going to give her a little longer to finish up. Leaves are all very faded and are starting to pull off pretty easy. Still only water given. Hopefully next post I will have chopped her. Thanks for stopping by.
Wow!!! This strain is amazing. It checks all the boxes as far as taste, smell, and potency. Very strong sativa and plant was a great producer. Easily pulled 84 grams from her and that was water only grow. Great seeds RQS!! Will be popping another one of these ASAP.
This plant produced some very high quality smoke. So so happy with this one. It’s def a sativa high but not edgy. The smell is like some very pungent sweet smell. Love love love this stuff. I’m a big sativa lover and I think I might have found my new fave. Def growing this one again ASAP. Pulled around 80 grams off of her. I put her thru a lot with my height issues. She was topped, super cropped because it was growing into my light. I had some gnat issues also. So she is strong. She would have been close to 4 feet even after topping. Only water given through out the whole grow so sohum did a great job. My buckets worked perfectly and was the best root system I have ever grown. Roots were on the bottom of the bucket. Great grow great seeds. Royal queen is legit and excels at these autos. Thanks for following with me.
Well its not a hell of a lotta stretch, she looks tight to me. Everything's pretty and symmetrical... honestly I'm not sure if I'm describing your plant or the perfect date right now. Happy growing

She looks awesome bro, Interesting that you used HST and topping, I thought those were big no no's for autoflowers ? I am assuming its because you have a lot of experience that you decided to go down that route? In any case she looks amazing.
@YaverCouk, this is my first time trying it. Both topping and hst!! It was an experiment and both seemed to have worked. I did due to my height limitations and I read these were a tall strain. 😁
