Cloning Complete plant - Slurricane

leftythefarmer Hi Everyone.... I thought I'd document my cloning process... I'm always looking for ways to get better. I've tried soooo many ways to clone.. and this one that works for me. I'm always open for feedback and always looking to make my process better and more efficient! 4/18/21 - Cuttings taken from complete Mother - air vents closed 4/19 - waiting for 5 days before I touch it again... air vents are closed for 3 days. 4/19 - Late night - OK... usually I would touch them for 4-5 days... but today was really hot. My cloning room got up to 94 dg... not good for new cuttings. I lost 5 of them. well... on the good note, that good news, only the strong survive in this case. 4/20 - still waiting...I'm their biggest Fan... on the sidelines yelling... roots roots roots!!! *******Happy 420!!!!********* **air vents 1/3 open 4/20 - Another hot, low humidity day. Added Humidifier to tent, went from 29% up to 47%. Will keep it here till evening. My new daily to keep the VPD right. 4/23 - OK, 5 days in the incubator... looking great so far! I can see root structure starting on 3 of the cuttings.... close to getting some roots... the rest should follow shortly! Today i do the following; Clip dead leaves, assuming the cutting has 3-4 good water leaves. Never cut to less than 1 water leave. Sometimes I just cut off the dead portion vs the whole leave. If I see roots forming already, I try and hurt it the least. Having it all green and cleaned up, help you see which ones are using the most energy or dying the fastest. Usually they are the ones making roots... the goal is to have more energy to make roots... vs Die trying. One Love to all my fellow Growers! 4/25 - Continue to mist plants everyday. I usually mist 3-4x per day... sometimes less, sometime more. At this point, I may go in during a day and take the humidity dome off for 15-30 to give them air. Keeping them moist. 4/27 - Soooo many root sites showing up... see pics above.
