6-7 (50 days) 3 days post disaster, they are still in ICU. Still running very low light, diluted reservoir to 500. I'm still not 100% sure there was a single factor other than wimpy ass genetics. I mixed the strongest solution they ever had (but it was only 700), I added a little calMAG and 1 tsp of DiamondNectar just before noticing the stress. I completely flooded plants with a top down FloraKleen and then top down RO water and then increased watering frequency! On top of that I had the VPD pushing pass 1.0 hard on the tops. So they got drowned and then slammed with nutrients -Nuked em'. Most of the canopy is actually OK but it looks BAD, they stopped transpiring completely for a couple days and they smell like death. I think we're back on track tomorrow with full lighting and VPD. I Only have 3 weeks left to try and fatten these tops.
6-9 Back in business- transpiration has almost recovered fully and new growth is apparent. Full light, VPD=1, PPM around 500. I lost about 10% of the canopy and several days of growth. The recovery period in low light caused 1 plant to stretch like crazy - might be a good thing? makes me wonder...could lowering light for 3 days in the middle of flower lengthen colas without losing yield?
6-11 These girls have BIG plans. I've removed dozens of lower tertiary sites. Been topping off with .5 tsp CALMAG .5 Micro .5 Gro .5 Bloom .5 kool bloom and diluting to 500 ppm. Where the VPD is higher than 1 (where plant is dryer and more light), I'm still gettin a touch of nutrient burn. 2+ gallons daily. No sign of root bound problems, 10" netcups ftw!
