deFharo Welcome to a new cannabis growing adventure.
This time, it's an autoflowering strain with indica dominance, promising color, aroma, and potency, plus a vegetative growth period of 30-40 days, which is great because it will allow me to enter flowering with a strong root and aerial system. 🤩
This plant will coexist with 3 other autoflowering plants in the same grow tent, from start to finish. The idea is to grow all 4 plants in my 60x60x140cm closet. The plants will spend 14 hours under indoor light (my cheap electric schedule), and during the day, I’ll take the pots to the windows so they can take advantage of the long days and the spring and summer sun, totaling over 21 hours of light. I would like to harvest all my ongoing crops, at the latest, in the first week of August to take a break in August and September, plus I won't face the heat problems I experienced last summer.
For now, I've started germinating the seeds in small pots (I didn't have space to start with the final pots) and I plan to transplant them to their final pot between the second and third week of life, definitely before flowering starts.
The idea of this project is to grow in 6L air-pot containers, without ties or top cuts, so the plant doesn't widen and to show the morphology of each strain. Also, it’s been so long since I’ve seen a monstrous central apex that I’m excited to grow these autoflowering plants; however, I also announce that I can change my mind and strategy at any moment during the grow! 😂
The method I use for germination is to put the seed directly in moist substrate, with the crown facing up, and then I place the pot on the router (heat bed).
The seed peeked through the substrate 60 hours after I started germination.
Yesterday, it started spending nights under the light of its tent, and now it's soaking up the April sun from the window!! 😮

deFharo Second week of life for this strain, which for now is the most vigorous among its 3 companions... welcome!
The seedling is forming its first true leaves and they are already identifiable as typical of indica strains.
Today I transplanted it to its final pot, an Air-pot 6l, I'm a bit anxious about this step, as in previous autoflowering grows I've always had problems.
I sprinkle diatomaceous earth on the surface, this practice I will always maintain with my seedlings, it’s all benefits, and it protects me against bugs, stem rot, and at the same time strengthens the grow due to the high silica content, it also provides macro and micronutrients.
Nothing more for now...

deFharo Welcome fellow growers, the seedling has reached three weeks of life and one week since being transplanted into the final pot (Air-Pot 6l). So far, it is by far the fastest-growing seedling compared to its three companions; if it keeps this up, I’ll do an apical cut this week, as I’ve seen in other diaries that it can be a very productive plant and responds well to apical pruning.
The pot transplant went unnoticed, the seedling shows growth, I keep it under 14 hours of indoor light, as that’s the maximum of my cheap electricity schedule; for the rest of the hours, I take the pot to the window for some hours of sunlight. There are two reasons why I don’t feel comfortable with autoflowering strains: the first is the need for many hours of light throughout the plant's life, and the second is the lack of control over the transition to flowering. I’ve started this grow with another 3 autoflowering strains that I plan to grow together in a 60x60cm tent and harvest them before the end of July.
The most relevant thing this week was the transplant I did for the 4 strains a week ago; since I did it at the last minute, I didn’t have time to explain the process I use for preparing the substrate, within my growing logic 👨🌾💦
SUBSTRATE: After experimenting in my first grows with super substrates, layered and loaded with multiple organic and mineral nutrients, after trying to use half of my substrates with reused soil from previous grows and ruining a dozen crops before realizing the mistake, today, and in all my ongoing grows, I’m using a combination of light gardening soils based on peat and plant matter (6 parts), some substrates contain rooting elements; to this mix, I add perlite, vermiculite, and zeolite (1.5 parts) to improve drainage and moisture retention, I add 1 part of coconut fiber, another of worm humus, and half a part of enriched homemade bokashi, also minerals in the proportion of 1g of each mineral per liter of soil, mainly micronized clays: Montmorillonite, kaolin, illite (Yes, Al...), which improve cation exchange and mainly provide silica, I add azomite which contains up to 70 different minerals, Pumice (Yes, Al...), Basalt (Mg, Fe...), Phosphorite (P), and leonardite (2g/l) to give structure to the soil and add humified organic matter, humic and fulvic acids, I don’t add any kind of organic matter.
💦SUBSTRATE ACTIVATION: I usually don’t water for the first 24 hours because before transplanting, I moisten the substrate of the small pot a lot and let the excess moisture transfer to the surrounding substrate. I always add auxins to the transplant hole to boost rooting. After 24 hours, I do the first deep watering aimed at inoculating microorganisms in the substrate; these will reproduce massively in about 3 days, facilitating root mobility through the substrate, as well as solubilizing and mineralizing the organic matter. I inoculate with my Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA Basic) preparation in liquid form through anaerobic fermentation that lasts at least 40 days. The types of microorganisms contained in my preparation are varied: fungi, bacteria, mycorrhizae, yeasts, and other beneficials that help decompose organic matter and protect against pathogens; for example, I’ve collected and selected them from different virgin forests in my area and keep them dormant in solid form until I want to activate them... below I leave where I published tips with these procedures...
I then water with a mixture of MMA Basic at 3%, Honey (I prefer to use honey over molasses in the early stages of growth, honey contains the sugars that provide energy to the microbiology to reproduce and also many enzymes and some minerals that help seed germination and rooting; in fact, it’s an excellent rooting agent for cuttings.) and finally, I adjust the pH of the mixture with Ormus which provides Ca and Mg and traces of another 60-70 minerals in mono-atomic form that facilitate cation exchange leading to better nutrient assimilation.
- It’s essential to maintain life in the substrate to always water with pure water, without chlorine, and if you don’t have access to pure water, don’t waste money and time growing with microorganisms.
- I’ve been seeing a lot lately substrates under the label of "living soil," some with mandatory fermentation processes of 30 days, with many nutrients and ad hoc commercial literature, ultimately, variations on a process similar to bokashi with extra costs on microorganism spores and blah, blah, blah, of which I have some doubts and objections, always talking about growing marijuana in pots... if anyone wants to share calm opinions on this matter, I would be delighted.
In this same context, we could also talk about rare earths, and the interaction of indigenous carbon with the organic matter of the jungle, ineffective by itself for crops.
CONCLUSION
After this first deep watering, I’ve sprinkled diatomaceous earth (protection against pests and moisture and providing Si...) and on top Mulch of dry matter that will maintain the necessary moisture to help the proliferation of Microbiology and also the creation of adventitious roots from the first centimeter of the substrate. This watering usually lasts in the pot from 7 to 10 days; during this time, the roots have reached all corners of the pot and are now multiplying.
And after all the above... I give the plants all the light I can at every moment of the day or night... let the party begin!! 😋

deFharo Hello and welcome to the fourth week of life of this autoflowering strain with indica dominance, and the grower promises amazing colors and aromas for it.
So far, it is the most vigorous strain among its three other companions in life and the grow tent. Large and wide leaves clearly indicate its indica genetics, helping with efficient photosynthesis. On day 24, I did a nutrient watering with Activated Mountain Microorganisms with minerals and NPK nutrients at 3%, molasses, and Ormus at 0.5%. pH: 6.3, EC: 1.0. 800ml.
- I added two side LED panels of 30x30cm and 36w consumption each, the first with a spectrum of 7700K, the second with blue light at 450nm. I’m looking for compactness and strengthening of the lateral branches with these lights.
On day 25, I started the LST tying process, bending the stem 90° to redistribute the energy from the apex to the lateral branches and begin creating a uniform canopy of buds. The seedling's response was almost immediate; the central apex has bent, seeking verticality, and the branches that were lateral are starting to find their place.
- Day 27. I did a watering with mountain water and honey to facilitate the dissolution of the nutrients in the substrate. I’m very interested in keeping the substrate moist during this growth and rooting phase so that the roots can spread throughout the pot. pH: 6.66, EC: 0.28. 600ml.
At this early stage of cultivation, I prefer to use honey instead of molasses; both have free sugars, but I believe honey is better for now, as it contains many enzymes that will work together with the substrate's microorganisms. Additionally, the rooting properties are well known:
ENZYMES IN NATURAL HONEY (Not industrialized):
Invertase: Converts sucrose to glucose and fructose.
Diastase: Hydrolyzes starch to dextrins and/or sugar.
Glucose-oxidase: Converts glucose to glucolactone; this in turn produces gluconic acid and hydrogen peroxide.
Catalase: Converts hydrogen peroxide to water and oxygen.
Acid Phosphatase: Removes inorganic phosphates from organic phosphates. Phosphatases are also used by microorganisms in the soil to capture nutrients containing phosphates. It contains amylases and proteases.
- Day 28. The main apex has grown a lot; I’m doing a new tie, rotating the apex in a clockwise motion. I want to control the height and create a colony of shoots along the main stem that will later form a canopy full of buds!! 🤣

This week, two deep waterings, one with alkaline spring water to help dissolve nutrients in the substrate. PH: 7.26, EC: 0.45. 800ml. The second watering on day 32, massive inoculation of MM, with Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA) with Pumpkin, minerals, and chitosan at 2%, MMA with nutrients and minerals (Plus) at 1%, MMA Basic at 1%, molasses, and Ormus at 1%. PH: 6.7, EC: 1.15. 1000ml.
Yesterday I continued with LST ties to boost the growth of the lateral branches, the plant is so far the most vigorous in its grow tent, the central apex, bent over, is struggling to straighten up! Big and wide leaves are capturing all the possible light, I'm really enjoying this grow!! 😁

This strain promises colors and I'm trying to enhance them, in fact, the budding floral shoots are already emerging with purple tones!! To boost the color, I've been taking this plant outside during sunset and into the night, when the indoor light schedule starts, to take advantage of the low temperatures of this time, and the second thing I'm doing is providing solubilized carotenoids from my Activated Mountain Microorganisms prepared with Pumpkin and Carrot... I really like the aesthetics of these colorful plants, although I haven't had much luck previously with similar grows... I hope this Purple Lemonade definitely changes that!! 💡🌞👨🌾💦
On the other hand, growth continues vigorously, the twisted central stem is becoming more and more powerful, it will have to support the weight of the colas from the multiple branches in the future, which today are seeking their place in the canopy. Yesterday, I did a measured defoliation to shape the grow and improve light entry.

This week, vegetative growth has continued, the floral buds stand out beautifully with the surrounding purple flowers!! The branches and stem are getting stronger every day!! 😍
The water consumption for irrigation has increased a lot, watering every two days...
For now, my nutrition strategy is based on inoculating microbiology in the substrate and very varied soluble fertilization in moderate doses, so that macro and micronutrients, as well as trace elements, vitamins, enzymes, etc., are not lacking. I alternate nutrient-rich waterings with pure water and molasses to enhance the dissolution of nutrients and minerals in the substrate, ensuring the proper functioning of the rhizosphere and the reproduction of microorganisms.

deFharo Hello marijuana growers, welcome to the eighth week of life and the third week of flowering of this colorful autoflowering strain, with indica dominance, grown in a 6L air-pot, with a mixed indoor schedule of 12/12 outdoor, bent and tortured with LST ties, but organically nourished and cared for with love and attention... to make it as happy and beautiful as possible!!
I’m growing this plant in a tent alongside two other autoflowering ones, keeping it under intense artificial light for 12 hours and then taking it out to enjoy the excellent June sun for the rest of the day!! It practically gets 12 hours of indoor light, 7 hours of direct sunlight plus 5 hours of brightness.
Great week for this grow, the plant has stopped vertical growth and the colorful flower buds stand out significantly against the green of the leaves, growing and growing!! There are at least 10 tips competing for a spot in the canopy, and there’s the central tip that has accompanied, until now, the extreme bending of the stem and is waiting for its chance to rise as king! 👃🤞🌲
I’ve made adjustments to the branch ties, a controlled defoliation of large leaves to improve light entry, and I’ve added dry matter to replenish the mulch.
This plant has a good and very compact structure, which helps me maintain extreme brightness in all corners of the grow... these autoflowering girls seem to be in a hurry to grow and show what they’re capable of... ha, ha 🤜👨🌾🤳 I’m ready to give them whatever they ask for!!
Water consumption has skyrocketed, a sign of a well-established root system in the small pot!!... now just a lot of care to maintain root health and good substrate hydration, I aim to achieve a very high yield with these 6L air-pot grows without burning anything 😈
Starting this week, specific watering to boost the growth of the buds... and everything else!! 👨🌾💧🌞

The plant continues to show its beautiful floral buds, which are fattening up and seem like they will be very thick; for now, the trichomes covering the buds shine with their own light.
It's been a very hot week, and the plant is holding up strong; I keep the substrate of the small 6L air-pot hydrated. It consumes a lot of water, I water daily, but I have to be careful with the administration of soluble nutrients, as they can cause excesses and blockages of nutrients and organic matter in the substrate due to the high evaporation. So, this week I've increased the amount of water in the pot and watered most days with pure spring water, structured and highly oxygenated water, to promote the flow of liquids through the plant during these hot days.
Three days ago, I made important changes regarding the light hours; until now, I kept the plant under 12 hours of indoor light and the rest of the day outside with at least 7 hours of direct sunlight, totaling 24 hours of light. I thought this might be a mistake, as the plant needs to rest. So what I'm doing is putting it in darkness from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM, then 10 hours of indoor light (my cheap light schedule), and completing up to 18 hours of light with the plants in the windows. It takes a bit more work to move the pot, but I'm willing to do anything for the health of my girl!!✌️👨🌾🌞💧

I’m growing this strain with care and dedication, in a 6L air-pot, with ties on the branches, in a mix of light substrates with minerals and activated with native microbiology collected from the virgin forests of my region. I feed it with soluble macro and micronutrients created with homemade anaerobic ferments and hydrolysates, made with love and organic and mineral elements. I maintain a lot of good light in my grow tents, and my plants always have a mulch layer of dry matter to feed the microbiology and keep optimal surface humidity levels. The light schedule consists of 10 hours of indoor light, 10 hours of outdoor light, and 4 hours of darkness... and here we go, heading into summer!! 💧🌞👨🌾
What a beauty this plant is, the purple buds keep getting fatter and fatter, the grow remains stable and healthy. So far, it has avoided spider presence, but I still subject it to foliar treatment with potassium soap, since there are plants affected by mites in the same tent. The plant has adapted very well to the 20/4 schedule I set last week. The buds fill all the branches, density increases daily, and the aromas too... the contrast of the purple flowers with the emerald green leaves creates a very beautiful combination.
Water consumption remains high, the plant takes nutrients very well and so far shows no signs of problems. I alternate nutrient watering with pure structured water, this week I filled my rainwater tank and mix it 50% with mountain water, all to make the substrate microbiology feel at home... in the forest.

This short and beautiful plant is progressing steadily towards maturity, the colorful buds are filling up and promise to be monstrous. The first leaves are starting to show signs of exhaustion, as the plant is focused on flower formation.
I maintain varied nutrient watering, alternating with others that only use structured water, to keep the root system free of blockages and very functional. The plant has responded well to all the nutrients, and it has also resisted the entry of spider mites; surely the great toughness and thickness of its leaves have contributed to protecting it.
In the last watering, I started with specific nutrition for the development of the floral buds; these next weeks are key for the final result. This nutrition simplifies the nutrients and is based on the exclusive supply of humic, fulvic, and himatomelanic acids, with my potassium hydrolysate from leonardite, mixed with Activated Mountain Microorganisms in liquid form (MMA Basic). The phosphorus needed for this stage is found in the substrate, and the microorganisms do a great job of making it assimilable for the plant.

I’m growing this strain with dedication and care, in a 6L air-pot, with ties on the branches and stem, and in a mix of light substrates with minerals and activated with native microbiology collected from the virgin forests of my region.
I feed it with soluble macro and micro nutrients created from homemade anaerobic ferments and hydrolysates, using microbiology, organic elements, and minerals. I maintain plenty of good light in the grow tents, keeping all my autoflowering strains with 10 hours of indoor light, plus another 10 hours of outdoor light and four hours of darkness. The cultivation is progressing and the little plant is striving to show its beautiful colorful flowers. This week I did a small defoliation of the largest leaves showing signs of exhaustion, to improve light entry and direct more energy to flower creation.
I think the plant needs to fatten up its buds a lot more; currently, there are many leaves intertwined among the flower shoots, which in turn have a medium density. Curiously, the 3 autoflowering strains from 42 fast buds that I’m currently growing all have a similar morphology in bud formation... I prefer denser buds with fewer leaves 🤷♂️🌲
Great water consumption and deep watering every 3 days, this week two strong nutrient waterings to boost the growth, based on (A) fruit and mineral NPK lacto ferment or (B) Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA) with molasses and animal-sourced amino acids, extracted by enzymatic hydrolysis from various sources of animal protein.
There are still no intense odors in the grow, but at the rate the flower formation is progressing, soon the aromas will take center stage, the colors already have!! 🌾💗👸
Three days ago, I applied 1% horsetail extract to this plant and all the others in my garden to protect the crop against fungi, as I maintain high relative humidity and frequently mist the plant with water, to create the most hostile environment possible for the proliferation of spider mites. The horsetail also acts as a repellent for these mites.

Good response this week to the nutrient watering, a boost of amino acids to prevent the appearance of nitrogen deficiency leaves, Calabaza MMA and MMA Plus strengthen the grow, providing macro and micro nutrients, vitamins, and enzymes, and inoculating microbiology into the substrate. Ormus and ash water help me regulate the acidic pH of the ferments and mainly provide Ca, Mg, K... Potassium humate from leonardite, also called "liquid organic matter," is an important source of humic, fulvic, and himatomelanic acids with potassium, to give structure to the soil, improving nutrient assimilation and the humification of organic matter. Additionally, this liquid organic matter is an indispensable and easily digestible food for the substrate microorganisms.
The buds are not only beautiful; this week, there has been noticeable thickening while the density has significantly increased. However, the structure of the floral buds is fluffy, surely producing some very pleasant flowers to grind and smoke. The crystalline trichomes accompany the flowers and their surrounding leaves profusely; the aromas are not strong yet, but they already hint at incense and wood. The leaves are thick and hard, not very appealing to mites, from which it has remained free for now.

Next week I’m going to harvest this plant, I think it can’t go any further, the plant meets the producer's expected flowering time, the cultivation has also responded well to the mixed indoor/outdoor schedule, I’ve done it this way to save on electricity costs, the colors of the strain are intense and beautiful, the buds are thick and fluffy, with Foxtail-type flowers, full of resin... but for me, cultivating autoflowers generates anxiety, from start to finish, it’s like a race, on autopilot, where the driver has little control, once again I have to say that I prefer to grow photoperiod strains. On a positive note, the small pots have performed well, very compact plants of small stature, which has allowed me to keep them comfortably in the grow tent.
Water consumption is high and stable, I water every 2-3 days, after the last nutrient watering, to boost the buds, I only have two waterings left with pure mountain water to finish the grow... 🗻💧🤷♂️

I definitely don't have luck with colorful girls... or I just don't understand them? 🤷♂️ I've grown several colorful strains and all have given me beautiful moments, but then as they age, they quickly lose their former beauty, like this strain, and I end up feeling unsatisfied.
This grow has met expectations, but just barely. The harvest time is within what the producer announced, but the plant didn't develop colas as I expected, it showed early deficiencies that weren't corrected despite my efforts, the floral buds are too fluffy and have too many interspersed leaves, although the great presence of trichomes is evident on all the colas... I'll wait for the smoke to see what happens. For now, drying for a week and then I'll wait at least another to give a more accurate assessment of the smoke.

Un fenotipo con unas flores muy bellas, planta de pequeño porte, con gruesas y esponjosas colas de color púrpura, bañadas de tricomas.
- El cultivo no tuvo sobresaltos, la planta creció con vigor y resistió con salud durante todo el cultivo, la cosecha es aceptable.
Después de 7 días de secado y 7 de curado, he abierto el bote y donde he encontrado finos aromas achocolatados sobre un fondo de vainilla.
La hierba se muele y quema muy bien, al tocar las colas los cristales de polen caen por su propio peso, la potencia merece la pena, es una mezcla equilibrada de efectos índica/sativa, proporcionados por un humo muy suave de fumar que me servirá para fumar durante todo el día.
Por el corto periodo de cultivo, comparado con cepas foto periódicas, y teniendo en cuenta la pequeña maceta air-pot de 6l, el horario mixto interior/exterior 10/10/4h y sobre todo por la calidad obtenida, esta cepa merece la pena cultivarla de nuevo.

📅 07/08/21. Saturday 8:00 am. Today is the chosen day to do the first tasting of this colorful cannabis strain.
I must confess, I am not sure about the result, especially after the disappointment I had yesterday with the harvest of Zkittlez Auto.
I open the curing jar and bury my nose in it, to capture all the aromas with maximum intensity, after a few seconds of inhaling I have to pull away, with my nose loaded with dizzying aromas of chocolate and mint, sweetened with a vanilla background,
my head spins and spins around that festival of smells... I bury my nose in the jar again ⭐👃⭐, almost no need to smoke this weed to know that the quality will be worth it. 👌
While I choose the buds for breakfast, the coffee is boiling on the stove, the grinder waits patiently, and in the background, soft music welcomes the day.
As I pinch the flowers to fill the grinder, they feel oily, when ground they double in volume and the aromas intensify!
I try a first joint without mixing tobacco, but it’s too early and it doesn’t burn well at all, I break it apart and mix it with a bit of tobacco, now everything is good, I immediately feel the potency of the strain.

Another coffee between joints, I’m floating around a meter off the ground, the music is playing and everything is Zen... good weed for the whole day, smooth and pleasant to smoke with a sweet and earthy flavor at the same time. 🤸♂️🌞
