Auto Think Different- Primer Grow

Indio420 Hello everyone, Growers!!!!!! In this new week, we will maintain the conditions for the seedling to develop fully. Since I don't have a humidifier, I achieved high humidity by placing containers filled with water to evaporate and keeping the Indoor completely closed with the extractor off, managing to maintain humidity between 65-90%. We continue watering with a spray bottle to prevent the soil from compacting and to help the roots develop much faster. Watering is done with tap water PH= 6.5 and EC= 0.8-1 µs/cm. Observation: by the end of the week, I started to see some yellow spots, a kind of chlorosis. I’m investigating deficiencies and excesses. Since I use tap water, after hours and hours of study to figure out the cause of those blessed spots that appeared on my beautiful seedling, I believe the culprit is the tap water, as it has a fairly high EC without supplying nutrients. This leads me to a conclusion (though I’m not sure if I’m correct; if anyone knows what the problem might be, I would appreciate it if you leave a comment) that the water has a quite high calcium concentration, which causes a blockage of other micronutrients like magnesium. I changed the watering water to bottled water with an EC= 0.3 µs/cm and pH= 6.8-7, hoping for improvement soon. 💪

Indio420 Hello, how's it going Growers!!! This week started with a bit of worry about the excess calcium which blocked other nutrients, well, I hope that's the case!!!! hahahaha; but it's going really well for being my first Indoor grow. We changed the watering water to bottled water that has a pH of 6.9-7 and an EC of 0.3 µs/cm, which is much lower than tap water. Normally, I water according to the plant's needs; whenever I see the substrate dry, I water. The first watering of this week was just water, about 500ml, to clean the roots a bit from that excess. For the next watering, I'll feed it with universal additives from Plagron, it's doing really well. The leaf discoloration has stopped, but you can still see it in the photos. Watering solution pH=6.5 EC=0.8 µs/cm (in the Plagron chart, they recommend taking it to 1.7, but I want to go slow to see how it reacts; it's easier to correct a deficiency than an excess, and if the plant needs more, I'll supply it)

Indio420 Day 1: I filled the pot with a bit of Plagron GrowMix and lowered the lamp to 50cm, it looks really good, growing fast at about 13 cm, but I have to keep in mind that I filled the pot! Day 2: It grew a few more cm, now measuring 14 cm. I can see it's growing, but it still has the spots; I don't know what deficiency or excess it has. I suspect it's a calcium excess. Day 3: Today I plan to feed it; the bottled water has an EC=0.370 µs/cm, pH=7.36. I’m adding a bit of terra grow, which is rich in nitrogen, to see if I can correct the deficiency I see. I'm bringing the EC to 0.9 and the pH to 6.5. Day 4: It’s taking the nutrients very well, now about 22 cm, but I still notice the spotted leaves. Let's see how it reacts to the food. If there are no improvements, I'll do a root wash and start fertilizing again. The temperature is between 22-24 °C, with 45% humidity. Day 5: It has shot up dramatically to 25 cm, honoring its sativa-dominant lineage; this XXL from Dutch Passion is doing great. The little spots still haven't improved. Day 6: It grew quite a bit, stretching a lot. I still don't know if it's a problem or if it's due to its genetics, as they say if a plant stretches too much, it can affect the harvest negatively. It's about 29 cm now. I notice a slight burn at the tips of the new leaves; I don't know if it's a nutrient burn or from the light. I decide to move the light a bit further away to get back to its 50 cm. Day 7: 36 cm, this beauty already has its first pistils, which tells me that its flowering has started. On Tuesday, I’ll begin its flowering feeding or do a root wash to correct the mistakes. I still don’t know what to do; what can you recommend? I'm thinking of doing a SCROG or letting it grow freely and see how it goes. I’ll buy a Cal-Mag and we’ll see what this beauty has in store.
