Moved into tent as the plant was outgrowing the humidity dome. Plant is under a Mars TSW 2000 LED Light. I have an exhaust fan and carbon filter but since its just this one plant in this tent I sealed up all but two parts of the tent, one for a 4" fan up in one of the top ports and one 4" oscilatting fan near the intake portion of the tent.
I continued misting the plant every once in a while with some distilled water thinking that might be beneficial but some redditors think that may have led to some of the burn holes I got in later weeks.
Nothing wrong with that mate, trim any more and you'll be cutting bud off. If you don't mind having a load of shakey goodness left over for edibles / hash then trim away, but I'd be happy with that.
some points to ponder on Notkumar.
All cannabis plants go into shock when stressed to any degree. They will stop growing for a few days, 1-4, 5, 6, it varies depending on plant. With Photo's you can make these days up. Automatics don't give you that luxury. Fast Buds GG takes tween 70-90 days (I have grown it a couple of times) If we say your plant takes 3 days to get back into the swing of things, and you have been in and stressed the plant 4 times with bending defoliating etc. That is a minimum 12 days of stagnation. On a 70 day plant that is over 17% of potential gone. ( In reality as growth has an exponential factor, it means a lot bigger loss at the weigh in.)
If you have more beans of GG or similar big Autos. Fim very early and then again as soon as as possible. ( minimising the exponential factor in growth potential.) You are trying to get a coppiced effect with the lower branches. which you lollypop individually as time progresses through the flower period. Less stress on the plant and less stress on you, it's a scary business bending those branches.
Careful with that light Notkumar 600W of Led is a lot of light for a 3x3 unless you have CO2 .
Mr Miyagi would tell you to have patience and don't fiddle, he has pondered upon the act for a week before he cuts a leaf . His plant may live a thousand years. Yours have 90 days.!
Wishing you and your plant all the best.
@notkumar, It isn't really my advice, Mephisto Genetics website is where I learned useful info on growing Auto's, They even go as far as to recommend bending shade(factory) leaves out the way of bud sites instead of defoliation. I think I have some of my auto pictures in r/autoflowers my username is sanitynotproven. I haven't been on reddit for a while as all my log in stuff is on a different parked up HDD. I only grew Auto's as a filler in photo grows at first ( like yourself ) But I wanted to do a bit of guerrilla outdoor stuff and didn't want to pay loads of money for seed you had no guarantee of surviving. So I reversed a chemdogging to put it into itself and a monster yielding FB GG after harvesting the tops. Then I kept the bottoms going and pollinated them.( under TS 3000) I waited an extra 50 days for the seed to ripen! I know the seed is viable 'cos a few germinated out in the old pot which was left in the garden. Last weeks snow and frost did for all but one which I have rescued and put in the greenhouse ( uprooted and potted up in the dark, to avoid shock and early flowering, if you do it when they are asleep there is no problem repotting Auto's .) I plan to update my own Diary tomorrow night/ Sunday morn I will sneak in a photo of my Auto seed plant ( it germed in the old Mephisto Chemdogging pot, odds are it is S1 Chemdogging. But them pot seeds sure can bounce!, So I can't be sure) I will have to get my HDD back all my Photo's and such are on it. Along with the operating system I usually use for stuff like this. The perils of an illegal country eh. The song in the right stuff video on reddit is Robert Calvert's .The Right Stuff. Hence the user name here.
I almost forgot. I have been at it for 40+ years and I have never seen a plant take up nutes like that GG, Auto. Peak flower it was taking Canna at 1.5 times recommended doses without turning a leaf or showing any nute burn at all. something to keep in mind? ( I was in coco/perlite 70/30.)
@fanofCalvert, Thanks for the comments as this is my first grow I am kind of just winging it from Youtube videos and Reddit's /r/microgrowery and /r/autoflowers posts so any suggestions and insights are helpful.
I realized that my light choice in the settings was incorrect I'm using a Mars Hydro TSW 2000 and I think that's 300W or 310W. I have a bunch of extra beans of GG and I'm starting up 2 Runtz Muffin from Barney's Farm and 1 White Widow x Gorilla from Expert Seeds both are photos so I can fill out the rest of this tent. When I get back to starting up the GG auto's, I will grow a few different ones and compare results of using different techniques including your advice.
