I have to hand it to MSNL seeds. I have yet to have a single seed not germinate and I've germinated about 12 now of different strains.
I've grown the purple hulk before, my 3rd grow and we didn't really care for the high... Unless you want just a pure stupid high. BUT! Turning it into some butter and snacks, this was by far the greatest pain relief/sleep aid strain we've had ever. I'm hoping to achieve a decent yield and see if I can do a little better this time around.
Update!
I had a near miss.... I have not used these lights for veg before and I lost control of the temp and light intensity. The day temps never went above 72-73 and these little girls start curling over and began to die. I had started two more, thinking these were done for. Even though the others were in the paper towels, I raised the lights from 25% dimming to 50% dimming to see what the ambient temp would be... then.. they came back. Now I have these girls back plus one more!
Not much to really report on. I'm just happy she bounced back from near death and seems to be pretty solid. Watering is just plain RO and I water about twice the distance of what the leaves span and will until I'm watering the entire pot. I won't use nutrients until 3-4 weeks in as this soil is very solid until then.
She's looking great so far. No real complaints. I'm really impressed with how well she bounced back from near death as a seedling. She's looking nice and stout and I look forward to the progress she will make down the line!
This gal is exploding... and looks like it's pre-flowering which is interesting for only 3 weeks out. I'm not going to complain as she still looks healthy. I'll be hitting her with some dry nutes towards the end of the week to help support this transition.
Edit: Dry nutes applied halfway through the week. She's in preflower so prepping the soil.
She's still chugging away. I'm kind of impressed especially with the bad start she had and almost didn't make it out of the shell like her sister. Albeit, this doesn't help with my dry nute experiment, it's just sometimes the way she goes!
This is the last seed of the strain I have so I believe I'm going to need to put in an order soon!
I'm just tapping this girl out. She did her best but never came back after going into flower. She had a tough life from the beginning and the only one at fault is myself for starting veg in a new environment. I've grown this strain 4 other times and absolutely no complaints. An easy grow with plenty of bounty at the end.
