I start this new diary with great enthusiasm since it is a project that I have wanted to carry out for a long time. Before Humboldt Seeds was taken to court I received a package of seeds of Blueberry Headband that despite not being a good producer at all I love its terpene profile and I would love to give it a goodbye as it deserves.
I am going to use the Blueberry Headband that I mentioned as a base plant and over the next few weeks I will be grafting different varieties.
If everything goes according to plan, the plant will finally be:
BASE - Blueberry Headband (Humboldt Seeds)
------------ Graft1: Melon Gum (Dr. Underground)
------------ Graft2: Blueberry Gum # 2 (G13 Labs)
------------ Graft3: Royal Runtz (RQS)
------------ Graft4: Wedding Crasher (RQS)
------------ Graft5: Kings Juice (Green House Seeds)
------------ Graft6: Rainbows (BSF)
------------ Graft7: Purple Queen (RQS)
------------ Graft8: Purple Kush (Budda Seeds)
------------ Graft9: Cream Caramel (Sweet Seeds)
@Mrs_Larimar, I saw it on a cannabis magazine like 3 years ago and since then I've been looking for the right moment to start the project. If all goes well she will end with a lot of different looking buds even with different colors so... lets cross fingers! π
@WolverineGreens, hey m8! I always follow the same steps and I got rooted 80% of them aprox. I do the next:
1,- One week b4 doing the grafts I apply algae mix to the mother plant (foliar)
2.- Once I'm doing the grafts I always cut them in 45% angle and close to a node. Then I put them in 5.5PH water until I move them to the rooting jiffys.
3.- I apply bacteries and fungus (beneficial) into the rooting jiffy and rooting gel into the hole.
4.- Wait 10-12 days and its gonna be ready to check the roots. Of course while rooting you wanna keep a very high RH (around 80% on the first days)
