They all did good with pests, I think they could have performed a lot better because I only used a 5-gallon fabric pot and they didn't get to grow as big as I'm sure they wanted. It all worked out perfectly though because all 5 plants were crammed as is on my deck and if they were any bigger I'm sure they would have caught some unwanted attention and made watering a living nightmare for me. Even with having such small pots they still gave me a little under 2 pounds of some high-quality product which is plenty for me and my family until next year. Definitely gonna be better & bigger next year.

I'm not the biggest fan of using liquid nutrients, still worked great though.
I used a small bit alongside my feeding during week 3 of flower, kinda doubt it did anything, and if it did I didn't notice.

I learned so much and am very happy with the results! All plants are jarred and curing at 60-62%, all of them have a special and unique smell, I can't wait until curing is done because they already smell so great, and knowing it's only gonna get better and more smooth makes me very excited. Tribute Bx1 smells really gassy or like dirty feet, not my favorite, still smells good though. OJ Kush smells really fruity and is by far my favorite, it kind of smells like how grape Gatorade tastes if that makes any sense. Woah- Si - Woah smells like Hershey's chocolate. Lemon Creamsicle smells really cheesy with a tiny hint of lemon. Free MAC smells a little bit like a candy cane with a hint of chocolate. Oh and also trim-bins are the best, I'm drowning in keif and can officially say the hard work has paid off πŸ‘½πŸ˜…πŸ‘Œ

Grow Questions

What should my ppm be when I began to start feeding nutrients? My soil has nutrients pre-amended for the first 3 weeks, it's been three weeks and it's 1800 (my tap water is 200). That seems pretty high for 3 weeks after the plants have been in the soil. Thanks!

You’re not watering enough, the Nitrogen turns into NaCl after a while when not being used. You must pour enough water to get about 20% of drain to rinse the extra salts from the pot.

@Rock_n_Roll_Randy, Thanks man! I have three Ethos plants running right now (the two above, and one auto) and the growth and easiness of lst of the genetics compared to my last grow is incredible. Definitely a happy camper.

If you're using dry amendments, slow release and/or organics. The ppm will always be high because the plants take what they need when they need it. It's a very different way of feeding to using liquid feed
NewbieGrowmie
NewbieGrowmiecommented3 years ago
@Fruitgrower, Thanks, definitely noted for next year! I was a little thrown off when I saw the ppm that high. I was able to get my watering under control (I wasn't watering enough so everything my plant didn't eat just turned to salt build-up). I now have my plants at around 600-900. It's cool seeing the difference in the genetics in each plant and how some require more, and some require less, but it's also a pain in the ass πŸ˜‚.
