Well always wanted to do a diary, so forth grow ever, first diary...,
Germinated 5 seeds by soaking in water for 18 hours, but I do like to put them on moist cotton pads, covered in a dark warm space for 12 hours, just to confirm the tap root.
Planted two days later on the 22.
Coming along nicely after seven days in soil, feeding half recommended nutrients for first week.
So first week of proper veg, coming on..
Few tiny spots in on a couple of the first pair of leaves, unsure as to what is causing this.
Letting her pot dry out a little
Could be overwatering but looks more like a cal mag defiency to me :) she looks healthy enough though im sure it wont hurt her much until you start to feed her :)
Week three...
Let the soil dry out in an effort to correct the suspect small patch’s and accidentally left the timer off so the girls got 24hrs for a day and a half, resulting in a little leaf tip burn, but have recovered well.
Due to repot and move to a bigger space with multiple t5’s for veg this week.
Sooo..
Repotted and moved to larger veg area.
Tried to fim a couple and top the other three, think one of the fims has the potential for multiple tops.
Slightly high on humidity need to create a vent.
The girls have really filled out this last week, have been putting in some light twisting on some, think that they’ll gonna smell, just the sap was quite pungent already.
Seem to be enjoying the environment, although no signs of sex yet.
The next week I was planning to trim up the lower branches and clone, possibly a second diary !? 😱
So first major stressing of the girls, bit of defoliation, bit of wiring and twisting, a hint if pinching... oh, and one really annoying snapage!
Quick deploy insulation tape, looks ok two days later.
Not massive changes, just a little lower desolation and a few pops and twists with the tops.
Lovely new bud sites forming on the main two stems.
One light had failed so that’s been swapped out, still need to find a new ballast for my envrigrow lumii, such a good light - shame about the fail rates, but to be far was working for 18 months no problem.
Need to repot this week, just trying to extend veg times there is a reason.
