Summer Grow

Cloning took forever. Had to start over because the stems rotted on better than 50% of the cuttings. Switched to plain water, an air stone and a 5 gallon bucket. Obtained 75% success. None of the Aurora successfully rooted. So this were a bust. Besides this Blue Dream SCroG, I have four Super Skunk that successfully rooted and are now two days into blooming in a very small SoG. I topped them and are just letting them go with minimal training. The Super Skunk plants are under 2-24 inch Sunblazer ballasts with 24 watt, full spectrum LED tubes. 12/12 lighting, on at night, off during the day to keep the heat down during the day. Same nutrients schedule as the Blue Dream grow. Blue Dream grow is light on during the day. (Both in their own tents).

No changes in nute schedule. I may have been able to screen a few more colas out to the sides, but not worried, every bud seems to be getting optimal light. Her smell is coming in now. Not super strong yet, but pleasantly aromatic.

She has a very sweet smell coming in. Probably the most sweet smelling plant I have ever grown. The buds are really starting to thicken up. Got a couple more inches of growth in some of the colas, but I believe she will slow now with the pistols starting to brown. ScrOG is the shit for these sativa grows. Could grow in a 3 foot high locker box with this technique. Even the smaller popcorn buds are fat and juicy.

Missed a week of journaling due to helping out a patient in hospice. Lowered the bloom nutrient by 1/2 tsp per gallon. Also lowered the PK boost by 1/2 tsp per gallon as well. Changed the light setting to be 11 on 13 off for a week. Then I will change it to 10/14 for the last couple weeks while I flush her out. She smells so sweet and just brushing against her slightly leaves the back of my hand sticky. Another month or so and she will be ready for a taste!!!

Starting to ween the nutes back a bit. No more PK boost and reduced the nitrogen since I was seeing a bit of tip burn on the smaller fan leaves. Cut the light back to 14 off 10 on to mock fall and promote “ripening” a bit quicker.
