First time in a while doing “regular” seeds - buddy tried this premium seed market and is in flower now and looking like decent genetics for a stellar price. Pumped about skunk #1 - a classic And Scooby snacks looks amazing and like a great indica leaning hybrid. Not sure what the plan is for long term - it’s summer season may do some outdoors. Just hoping for at few females and I’ll be happy UPDATE- 72 hours later got tails on all the beans! 100% germination, let’s hope they all make it to sprouts!

These are looking good! All seem to be growing at same rate aside from one single girl that may just be a runt. Not looking forward to the whole Sorting out females and males but at this price per seed, I suppose it’s worth it. Especially if genetics are top notch! All the seeds looked very mature and on point - these sprouted with the quickness too! Good thing is I have the outdoors to start them off. I won’t have to pay for the extra lights to run and all that. Thank goodness for that cuz it’s getting outta hand around here as far as plants, seedlings, clones, flowering plants, vegging plants, mother plants, 2 autos, etc

Sorry we missed a week here but I’ve got a lot going on. I decided to just choose two of each of the strains to go forward with. I just picked the ones that looked the healthiest, biggest, etc. I just reported them about five days ago, and decided to keep around the other three Scooby‘s and the other two skunks for a few weeks just in case anything happens to the others. This is the first time I’ve used premium seed market, they only sell “regular” seeds - non feminized. They have a great price point though at $30 for 10 seeds. On 420 I got a buy one get one free deal so I basically paid 60 for 40 seeds (20 of each strain). So, they have a great price point. The first couple weeks of growth they look decent, but there is a little concern in the back of my head just by some small things I’ve noticed that seem a little bit different from what I’ve grown from seed in the past. These PSM seeds just seem a little bit underwhelming as far as leaf structure and plant structure. For heavier indicas I expect a bit fatter leaves. It’s too early to really tell tho! All will be revealed in a few months time when it comes down to flowering and harvest. The other thing is that they seem pretty indistinguishable from each other, which usually by a few weeks in there are some subtleties from strain to strain to be seen. Maybe 2 of the 9 were obvious runts/deformed a bit from the get go. On a positive note, the seeds LOOK very top notch. Nice dark color with striping and look very mature (I’ve had other seed companies that throw in some of the immature and underdeveloped seeds in the pack). Also, they all germinated fine - 100% success. Anyways.... there’s where we’re at so far - sorry for rambling on so much but there’s little info about this shop/breeder online so I figured it would help others make a decision on purchasing from them. I’d recommend them thus far, if you’re looking for a cheap seed option. Like I said before, time will tell! Thanks for stopping by and checking out my diary!

Scoobys up front Skunks in the back Loving this natural light growing (first time able to do outdoor grow) These things grow at such an amazing rate compared to indoor lighting Still concerned they look very very similar. I’ve grown dozens of diff strains and never had plants be this indistinguishable from one another. Like if I mixed them up I wouldn’t be able to identify which was which. I do notice a TINY bit of difference in the smell tho from a stem rub. My buddy has blue dream and strawberry cough from premium seed market (same company as I got skunk and Scooby from) around week 6 of flowering - and they are very similar as well. I’m not dismissing the seed bank yet but it’s not a good look at this point in time. All will be revealed tho! These leaves look a little more on the sativa spectrum also.. oh well, we’ll see how they turn out in time - no sense worrying at this point.

These have easily doubled in size in 7-10 days. I might even say tripled! Best growth I’ve seen for some time - but I’m usually indoors Fan leaves are the biggest I’ve ever seen too. Just beginning to see where sex parts are developing.. hopefully will be able to identify within week or two Fingers crossed 🤞

These are rocking along something stupid as far as growth. Still look almost like identical strains but won’t be able to really tell til flower They look tall and lanky like sativas also? They were pushing 4 feet until I topped the tops again last night

Still can’t identify sex and that’s frustrating but they’re growing into monsters. They still look so indistinguishable it worries me but I won’t know the nature of them til they are flowered entirely. I’m noticing that plants def seem to show more phenotype expressions indoors under LEDs - at least that’s my experience in only growing indoor with LEDs and moving to some outdoor

It’s been a crazy couple weeks.. I had to go out of down and in their old spot against the garage these things would dry out of their 3 gallon pots within the day. Sooo I was headed outta town for a long weekend and decided to top some and defoliate/prune some shit back to help them not suck up as much as water?? I dunno that was my rationale as a quick way to help them make it. Luckily it rained a shit load so they were fine but I moved them to a shadier area also as seen in current pics. No obvious signs of sex at this point it’s getting frustrating.. but we’re still running on 15-16 hours of light a day. Scoobys are in back on most the pics and skunks up front. Still look like sativas man, they look like a classic haze structure in some ways but who knows. I had a scare of aphids and then thrips, presumably from moving some clones that I vegged outside into my flower room.. so I’m worried about flowering these indoors. Bugs are so bad this year it’s crazy. Ps - yes I know they’re obviously N deficient.. I’m working on it! July 28th update Finally found female stigmas/pistils on skunk #1!! So she went in the ground!

So it looks like we got a F and M of each Scooby and skunk.. Skunk F is in the ground and flourishing just showing pistils Scooby F just identified and will be in ground ASAP Assumed Males are in first pics. I’m 6’4” and they are a few inches taller than me easily.. getting close to 7’ Not sure if I’m gonna end up using them for breeding for shits and giggles or just kill them off.. time will tell. The Scooby assumed male has a POTENT stem rub smell that alone makes me wanna breed it. We easily have 14+ hours of light but with recent storms and overcast days some of the girls outside have started flowering (ive got a few others out there not in diaries, including a cherry pie clone, gold leaf clone, and some others) Excited to see how these turn out! Update 4 days later - the remaining two are for sure Male plants.. those pollen sacs sure developed quickly. Now i'm torn between letting them live to harvest some pollen or killing them to not risk pollination of the remaining females Update 6 days later. I decided to take 2 cuts from each one and try to let them root while the pollen matures.. this will Keep things on a much smaller scale than the two full plants outside if accidental pollination occurs. Cut the two males outside 😢

Can I harvest pollen as soon as pollen sacks are visible? or does it need time to mature while on plant? plan to dry out and save some branches from males for possible breeding later down the road. Don't wanna wait too long and risk accidental pollination of outdoor fems thanks!

No Mate you need to wait for them to begin swelling and opening up. Once they are at that stage you can either pollinate directly from the plant or collect some in something like a film canister for later. It's fairly important to keep moisture away from collected pollen as it will kill it's viability For long term storage I reccomend the freezer

So I added some of my other outdoor girls here for shits and giggles.. Purple Punch #2 pheno ILGM California Dream Blueberry x Cinderella 99 (fast 6-7 week version) Killed off the males.. kept some of their tops in a cup hopefully they mature will rooting and I can harvest some pollen but I was too worried about letting the whole big boy plants mature and pollinate all my other plants.. this was my solution- worst case they die and I get no pollen. Scooby has a very nice citrusy and piney kinda scent from the stem rub.. she’s not flourishing cuz she’s still in a 3 gallon pot. She also lost a few limbs from storms as well as LST on too old and woody of branches they just broke 😬 Skunk has started blowing up in size again since being put in the ground weeks back. Thanks for stopping by folks!

Storm was rolling through so some of these pics aren’t the best but the skunk in the ground is blowing up.. Scooby is still in the fabric pot and not thriving as much. I think ill put it in the ground, I wasn’t sure for a week there whether it should go in the ground or not but shes still not in full on flower and showin signs of being root bound. I knew that was likely but in this weather the pot is drying out so fast that it’s probably worth the transplant shock to get her in a more stable environment.. There’s a few other shots of my other outdoor plants as well.. I will try and get some better shots updated tomorrow besides these.. Thanks for checking the diary out! The more I watched these Scooby and skunk flower - the less I think they’re gonna make it all the way before it gets too cold..

So this is my first outdoor run in a long long time.. minimal experience aside from extensive indoor growing. So the skunk that’s been in the ground for month plus now is looking bad. I didn’t work the soil enough around it and I’m realizing it’s taking it’s toll. It’s either drowning or suffocating from the lack of aeration in the ground. I should have worked it more but you live and learn. It’s looking worse every day and I may end up pullin her out if it gets bad. Other thing I wish I would have been more prepared for the bugs. Spiders, spider mites, aphids for a while but not anymore, all types of shit. This is effecting all the plants equally. Scooby is doing great and thriving.. I put her in a 7 gallon container cuz she was sucking up water way too fast and needed some more support down low if nothing else. In the future, I don’t think I’ll top either of these. They do not respond well to it all.. it’s the weirdest thing but I haven’t found many strains that react negatively or unusually to topping but these two sure did. I’ve heard of it so it’s not that bizarre but it’s still weird cuz this is the first time I’ve seen it. That’s kinda why the plants look so weird. I topped several times to promote lateral growth and they just kept moving vertically. So now there’s like a dozen or so main colas super close together. Anyways I got a few others outside I took pictures of.. pure indica, gold leaf, BBxC99, California Dream, annnnd purple punch I’ve been doing BBxC99 and California Dream in coco perlite outdoor and they’ve been thriving despite not pHing the water when I water from the hose on occasion without nutes. Everything is around 2-4 weeks of flower. Some started earlier than others Update later that night. Went ahead and doused each of the plants outside in a 1 oz per gallon mix of Green Cleaner Used about 12-16 fl oz per each plant at least. Underside/ topside. This shit is 30 dollars for 8 fl oz so I’m hoping it helps. I know it won’t be big free after but it was getting a little out of hand so I’m happy if I see visible reduction in pests.

Will update specifics tonight. Pulled skunk it was dying off and not developing properly. Fighting WPM and bugs Sept 19 update Gonna start doing dates as flowering continues on here. Pure indica and gold leaf are more mature because they started flowering accidentally early I believe. Some yellowing of lowers is happening on most these. Not gonna crank up nitrogen at this point in flower.. just a little bit and let them do their thing. Added the other strains to the diary. Sorry they aren’t in the veg stage of this. Suns angle is changing and creating less direct hours of sun for me.. trying to find the best spot in the yard for them. Really need to trim the damn trees on the neighbors property to really help. May do some light trimming on the few on my property that will help to some extent. Windy days will knock over the pure indica every damn time. What a beast plant that thing is - a few of these are gonna need support come the next few weeks so I’ll likely be going to get some stakes for them. Scooby is 7 foot tall but as you can see from the full plant shot - she’s bare on the bottom 3 feet. It didn’t react well to topping and didn’t push much lateral growth. Spraying with green cleaner at 1 oz per gallon. Twice a week or so.. mildew developed on some lowers of the further developed flowering plants. Stay tuned!

Man we got hammered for 3 days straight with rain and wind that did some damage on the girls but they held strong. I had to move the pure indica up next to my house for a while just to save it from the wind cuz it’s so damn top heavy.. it was the only spot that was protected a bit from the wind. I’m getting shitty full sun.. maybe a couple hours a day cuz of the change in angle in the fall.. Part of me is tempted to finish some off in my 10x10 but I’m not doing it with risk of bugs coming indoor. Took me until a few weeks ago to entirely eliminate the aphids that came indoors in may from outdoor vegging some clones then bring them in.

Outdoor coming to an end.. not sure how much longer. Pure indica and gold leaf are probably ready to chop honestly. Same with C99xBB Cali dream, both purple punch, and Scooby definitely need some bulking up. Second to last pic is of my Bruce Banner pheno from the DWC grow you can see in my other diary from months back. Tried it outside and it was nothing like indoor. Buds stayed small, structured different - terps are exactly the same tho. So I shouldn’t say nothing is the same.. but a lot of differences being a clone. Also got a few males outside to start producing pollen for harvesting for breeding. One in the pic is Peanut butter breath. Loved its structure, tight nodes, and now it’s showing some color.. good enough candidate for me as far as males are concerned. PBB is an excellent strain too. ———— October 11 update ———— Pulled down C99xBB, gold leaf, and half of pure indica (shown on table) C99xBB ended up nice resinous buds but not a yielder at all. I think this pheno leaned more C99 by plant structure and bud formation. Gold leaf is a beast but had to take a lot off during flower due to poor preparation on my part with training and also some bud rot. Pure indica showed different bud structure outdoors than the same clone does indoors but still an amazing pheno outdoors too. Tight and resinous buds.

Ok ok ok folks! First outdoor run winding down. Lots of shit I would change if I was starting in may again but that’s what life’s about.. living and learning. Neighbor - trim your freaking trees so i have perfect light over here when the angle of the sun changes Don’t plant in ground unless you work the shit outta that clay down there. Bigger pots from the get go and little more training. Pure indica is all the way chopped C99xBB is chopped. Let her go too long unfortunately a lot was bud rot Gold leaf same story - a lot of bud rot Cali dream is gorgeous and just starting to chop the lowers that are more susceptible to but rot it seems. Pp both going a few more days Nowwww.. Scooby Scooby is taking her time and I will be taking marks off her for this. Skunk seemed the same way. These genetics are just not on par IMO. They look like they need another 3 weeks to bulk up, while everything else is ready to chop in the next week. Sorry PSM but I can’t recommend your shit. Unfortunately, I have blueberry and lemon pineapple from y’all running now indoors. Maybe you can change my mind- but you’re running next to ethos so it’s doubtful. Spend the extra money and get on point genetics guys!

Ehhhh everything harvested now.. lots of bud rot.. not lots but more than you want which is none. I’d say lost at least 25% of bud.. threw a lot out just to be safe if it was anywhere near some. Not too impressed with my first outdoor grow. It was a learning experience for sure. Do a lot diff next time but that’s why you do these learning/experimental runs. Bigger pots or raised beds next year. Probably do living soil/ make my own shit. Harvest updates soon

Didn’t put a lot of effort into this grow because I assumed it would get stolen or some shit.. This was a surprisingly nice gem in a lot of let downs from ILGM. Still taking my money other places. Dealt with a little bud rot on this and most outdoor ones this year
