Well we are now at day 2 of week 7 of veg for these plants. All the plants have gained some considerable height, around a foot or so. The small F1 that was looking all droopy and it ended up not making it:/, oh well on that front. The fertilizer seemed to help the plants a good amount, did some research, but just did the lowest teaspoon to gallon ratio and rolled with that. Mixed in the kelp too. Got 2 new additions from a fellow grower!, one being a cut of a mighty Royal Kush plant and the other being a really unusual and high potency genetic cut called something to the effect of "Chimera". The Royal is the slightly larger of the two. In terms of sexes of the all the F1's, it's looking that 3 select plants are starting to show very early sign of wisp female hairs showing at certain nodes. All the Banana punch plants are killing it in terms of growth and are chugging along. One BP is a very tall/stretched out plant that looks way different in that regard of her shorter/shrubbier sisters. The Two Auto Lemon Cheese plants and well into flower and will be ready for harvest in the next couple weeks or so. I'm adding a large amount of grass mulch across the garden ground area soon to help keep the moisture retention up in that soil area and some protection for the microbes in the soil. In the next week or so ill be getting some mesh trellis netting to help secure the plants against the wind that we can get in the area. Update on that in the future. In terms of height the tallest F1's are right at 3ft and the tallest BP being 34inches and tallest Lemon Cheese being at 34inches, both a couple shy of 3ft. Will update again in a couple weeks here. Peace and good growth to all yah gardens!
Gl dude, just wanna warn you so long. Unless those are very small strains, that spacing is nowhere near enough.
Like even in winter I have to give plants around 2m space between them (unless using restrictions, or pots).
Btw, I'd recommend you use some kelp if you can (while they're young). It can boost growth and resistance a fair bit, good shit for the soil activity too.
@TokeGoat,
Well hey, if it works for you, super.
But I gotta leave like 3-4m space between plants (for spring-summer-autumn), unless they're small stubby indica things, they grow massive (with zero hst, lst, scrogging, topping, fimming, too). Might just be conditions here causing them to go a bit wider, that sort of thing, coz we do get some fucked up weather at times.
@sir_isO, I understand the spacing concern, but the spacing, (roughly 3 feet/1m), I've used before with enough success with a bit fewer plant numbers. The sunlight with x minor defoliage and whatnot is able to cover the plants well enough. I typically cut out at least a few plants from the number I have from the start/early. Yes I'll use that with some fish meal soon here.
Vos plantes ont l'air en très bonne santé. L'air frais et le soleil naturel les feront prospérer. Meilleurs voeux pour le reste de votre récolte et profitez des récompenses de la récolte et faites attention à ces éxtraterrestres embêtants. 😎👌
