I germinated the Seed using the glass of Water technique to soak it for a day and then planted it directly into BioBizz Lightmix Soil.
I fertilized the outer part of my Pots already with some Monster Bud Mix from Zamnesia and left a small cup sized hole in the middle which i filled in with the Lightmix.
Because I used this organic amendement which contains Mycorhizza the earth showed some fuzzy mycelium in the days after.
The visible mycelium is vanishing as the first week of the seedling stage goes on.
I just keep the humidity high using the domes and water using a spray bottle with PHed water at PH 6.5.
For fertilizing i am using the Monter Bud Mix from Zamnesia. Since i am planning to plant the plant in an 11L fabric pot i mix about 100g in 11L of soil.
The Lemon power Haze is having a bit of strange growth on the first leafs.
The plant still shows some abnormal growth, but it´s not far behind the othet two plants.
At day 11 since germination the plant started to show some lighter spots which turned yellow within a few days. I think it must have been some nutrient burn because of the already fertilized soil.
Because I grow organic I decided to just wait and the newer growth did not develop the same spots.
This week the pots started to become a bit small.
I guess you could have let them sit in the small pot for another week or so but had taken a quick look at the roots because of the whole leaf situation and noticed that the roots were already starting to grow along the walls of my pot.
So....
I decided to transplant them in their final 11L fabric pots at day 18.
Because the Lemon Power Haze was growing quite short internodial spacing i decided to top the plant instead of LSTing like i did with the other plants.
I topped at day 22 above the 4th node and the Lemon Power Haze loved it.
It didn´t seem like the topping slowed down anything, the plant starts growing to with nearly immediately.
I fed the plant about one Tbsp of molasses with 1L of water at day 26 and also watered in aome SF nematodes because i noticed some mourning gnats on the traps i placed around my tent.
I think this stressed the plant in some way because i started to see some lighter spots on the lower leafes at day 28.
I used the molasses to Ph my water down to 6.5 this week.
Was probably not the best idea and the yellow spots on the 2 lower leafes became bigger and the leafes felt dry and briddle.
i suspected Ph problems and messured the soil PH using a cheap tester.
I dont trust this thing a 100% but i also messured a bit of drain after watering and my Ph came a bit close to 7.0.
So I decided to change the water tactics to PHing down to 6.0 using an organic PH-.
The Lemon Power Haze is the tallest of the 3 genetics I grow currently. I think the main reason is that the LST from the other plants keeps them a good amount lower.
The side branching is going nuts this week and i train it as good as I can using some selfmade LST clips.
The clips worked really well if you spend the time to soften the branch properly before training.
I was too fast with one of my topbranches at day 36 and it snapped halfway. I fixed it using a bit of tape just to hold it in place.
I swiched the lighting to 12/12 at day 38.
While scrogging i keep training the plant doing the stretch as much as i can to keep my canopy low.
The Lemon Power Haze is quite a bit bigger than the other plants thats why i decided to swich to flowering this week because i don´t want it to take up too much space.
I gave less molasses than last week to not overdo it.
At day 38 the plant got a bit of a defoiliation to improve airflow.
It was a bit hot in the tent this week. Partly because of the weather partly because i was hanging the lamp lower.
I also had high relative humidity of about 70% this week but just for short times usually it´s about 60%.
It seems like the temperature isn´t bothering the growth of the LPH at the end of the week she starts to show the first little buds forming.
I fertilized once a week when watering, the other days i water plane tapwater which has been sitting for about 24 hours.
I hanged the plant 5cm up at the first days of this week because the temperature at the leaflevel was up to 30°C.
I also noticed some newer grow rolling kinda inwards and suspected little high nitrogen.
In consequence i watered just water some SF-nematodes and a little bit of PK 13/14.
Appart from the little problems and the occasional 70% relative humidity the buds were growing really nice.
I am planning a bigger defoliation in the next week for pestprevention.
The curling of the leafes was actually getting better this week,
so fertiliser is back on the menu.
I started this third week of flowering with a more drastic defoiliation,
which means removing all the fanleafes below my Scrog net.
I still left a lot of foiliage as you can see in the photos.
Since I am kind of a first time grower the arrival of my phone microscope was some of an event so there is some of that shots for you too.
