I germinated the Seed using the glass of Water technique to soak it for a day and then planted it directly into BioBizz Lightmix Soil.
I fertilized the outer part of my Pots already with some Monster Bud Mix from Zamnesia and left a small cup sized hole in the middle which i filled in with the Lightmix.
Because I used this organic amendement which contains Mycorhizza the earth showed some fuzzy mycelium in the days after.
The visible mycelium is vanishing as the first week of the seedling stage goes on.
I just keep the humidity high using the domes and water using a spray bottle with PHed water at PH 6.5.
For fertilizing i am using the Monter Bud Mix from Zamnesia. Since i am planning to plant the plant in an 11L fabric pot i mix about 100g in 11L of soil.
At day 11 since germination the plant started to show some lighter spots which turned yellow within a few days. I think it must have been some nutrient burn because of the already fertilized soil.
Because I grow organic I decided to just wait and the newer growth did not develop the same spots.
This week the pots started to become a bit small.
I guess you could have let them sit in the small pot for another week or so but had taken a quick look at the roots because of the whole leaf situation and noticed that the roots were already starting to grow along the walls of my pot.
So....
I decided to transplant them in their final 11L fabric pots at day 18.
Since the plant was developing some nice side branches i began with the LST at day 19.
I could see the LST was developing quite nice this week.
I tried to keep on top of it and started adjusting the clips and wires nearly every day at least a little bit to make shure the plant is not pulling the wires out.
I feeded the plant about one Tbsp of molasses with 1L of water at day 26 and also watered in aome SF nematodes because i noticed some mourning gnats on the traps i placed around my tent.
This week I PHed my water down to 6.5 using the molasses and watered when the Pots felt light.
Whith a PH Tester I bought I messured the Soils Ph at day 34.
It came out quite close to 7.0 and I noticed some leaves getting yellow spots on another plant, so I changed the water Ph down to 6.0 at day 36 and stopped using molasses for a few days.
I continued the LST for the whole week and the Banana came out quite bushy.
I hope that she will strech a bit when i am changing the Light to flowering mode because she is a bit smaller than the other genetics i grow.
I decided to swich my lightcycle to 12/12 at day 38 because i want to start training my plants in the Sccrog nets this week. For scrogging i keep training the plant doing the stretch as much as i can to keep my canopy low.
The Banana is still a bit slower than the other strains i am growing but it will grow into the screen nicely.
I also gave less molasses than last week to not overdo it.
At day 38 the plant got a bit of a defoiliation to improve airflow.
This week the temperature was a bit high because i have no possibility to cool my tent other than constant airflow.
I defoiliated nearly every day a bit to keep up with the bushy grow of the Banana and prevent moisture issues.
I also had high relative humidity of about 70% this week but just for short times usually it´s about 60%.
In terms of nutrition i fertilize once a week when watering the rest of the week i water plane tapwater which has been sitting for about 24 hours.
At the end of this week i could see the buds starting to show.
In an attempt to fight the high temperatures i hanged the lamp up to 35cm above tiplevel.
There also where small issues on another plant so i played it careful and skipped the fertilisation with molasses and X-Cel this week.
The banana had no problems at all and was becoming packed with buds and tons of pistils.
This week was defoiliation time just to allow airflow and prevent mold, especially since my humidity is still high.
So i was happy to remove everything growing under the Scrog netting.
The banana was on the leafier side in comparison to the other gernetics so i removed a bunch of leafes.
Since I am a beginner i still miss a lot of the equipment, but my microscope arrived this week so i got some first trichome pictures.
