Hello everyone!
I was a bit late to start the journal so I will give a brief rundown of what I have going on.
I am using fox farm ocean forest and happy frog mixed at 50/50 I added perlite to ensure it was 30 percent of the total medium.
For lighting I am running 1 phatslim xl and 1 gmax 150 from Optic LEDs(heard nothing but great things from them) in my 3x3 AC Infinity tent.
I will be running Remo Nutrients!
All 3 girls germinated roughly at around the same time and things went smoothly.
We are up to date this is day 7 or 8.
I was having low humidity issues as I am in a desert climate so I went out and got a little humidifier to keep my range between 60 and 70.
I gave them some calmag since I am using RO water.
So far so good nothing to report except that one girl's weird leaves.
Happy growing!
Hello everyone today is the end of week two for the girls.
One is growing really crazy, she has no structure but her growth is healthy and she isnt a bother so I will keep growing her :)
Nothing really to report, i think i will start training them next week as the new growth is their 4th node(except the crazy one she will grow as is I dont wanna touch her)
So far still just using kelp and calmag. That fox farm OF/HF mix is still feeding them what they need so I dont plan to use the base nutes and additives for a couple of weeks at 25%
Keeping humidity at 60% right now except when I open the tent it drops FAST(I hate living in the desert)
Let me know if you have any suggestions! Happy growing!
Hello everyone nothing really to report we are getting some extreme growth and I am loving it. The girls are super happy with their environment. They look droopy because i just fully watered their pots. I gave them some molasses, calmag and kelp. Nothing mas, I think next week I will start to go 25% on the Remo lineup. That foxfarm happy frog/ocean forest mix is excellent for the lazy grower lol just water all the way until it's time to flower basically. Also big shout out to Optic, their lights have my weed growing like weeds ! I had to turn off the GMAX150 for the pics since it does emit a orange hue(due to lack of blue LEDs) but the Phatslim XL is perfect for pics.
Let me know if you have any questions or comments :)
Hello everyone!
So this is the end of week 4 and uhmmm they're flowering lol
So tomorrow I will feed a quarter dose of Remos bloom feed. I just wanted to take the pics before they got watered because they droop and i dont want yall to think I'm overwatering lol.
The pots are a little light today but they can go another day for sure.
All of them are green and healthy. Grisel is showing some light green leaves in the older growth but all new growth looks great so I will not even worry about it too much.
Optic lights still killing it I want to see the kind of flowers they will produce!
Now that they are flowering I will drop the rh to 40-45%
My current feed schedule is water(mycos), water(eggshell vinegar calcium solution), feed
Remos calmag seems to have quite a bit of N which will be a problem during flowering. So I decided to go with my gut and crush some eggshells(40 eggs worth), bake at 250 degrees for an hour, and throw them into a liter of white vinegar. I jarred the solution for a 3 weeks. This is my calcium feed with no N. I also grabbed some agricultural Epsom salts for magnesium.
So far no problems worth mentioning :) i am having fun growing these girls and learning in the process.
Ah last thing, training was just light LST nothing too wild. Since the are flowering now I dont believe I will be pulling down any more branches. Lets just see what happens
Hello everyone!
Okay so it is obvious from the fotos that something went wrong with 2/3 plants. Everyone had the same feed schedule but I noticed it on Grisel first. 2 days ago i flushed 6 galleys of water through her medium followed by 25% strength bloom feed. Today I did the same with Ericka as she was showing the same. Runoff was 5.0 on both pots..
Jose is the prize seed of the bunch apparently. Took every feed like a champ. No nute lockout no nothing. Runoff was 5.5, fed her at 7.5 this round to kind of balance it out. Will be watching closely.
It sucks when things go wrong but it's how we learn to garden. As this being my first grow I guess I was bound to hit a wall..
Let me know if you have any suggestions!
Hello everyone!
I am the prime example that great genetics go a long way. Grisel is still fattening up despite being completely yellow lol. Jose is still having ZERO issues and is fattening up as well. Ericka.....I feel i will have to grow a couple of more weeks after the other girls are done. Bud development is poor on her. I did a PROPER flush on her this time.
Sooo dont judge too harshly as a newbie grower I made some mistakes... next run I will be more proactive to the yellowing of the leaves
Ughhh...alright guys so this grow is on its last weeks i will feed for the last time next Sunday or maybe the Wednesday afterwords then just give them water for 10 days and chop.
I am not exactly sure what the deficiency is that they are all sharing but I will definitely need to learn a lot more before my second grow..
Thank you all for tuning on!
Phaaack! Your latest post just made me scared to flush my girls.. Lol... Did they recover alright?
I know mine need it though. Any advice before I drown them?
@Joseman656, Jose is taking up some serious neuts!!! Thirsty little one!!! Grisel will bounce back! Maaaan, your buds are far at week 6... Mine still aren't fattening up... Probably just genetics!
@Vincent_Van_Grogh, I'm about to update bro. If I have one recommendation its...do it right the first time. My girls suffered the consequences of a half-assed flush
