To germinate I find that it works best for me to soak the seeds first in a little RO water mixed with Hydrogen Peroxide overnight and then put them in between moist paper towels in a tupperware container. I place the container in a kitchen cabinet and wait for them to crack open. In this case the whole process took just 2 days or within a 48 hour period. Sprouted under T5 light in grow box, 72 hours after soaking
Trying out my own custom soil recipe, mainly made with Down to Earth Organics and the little lady seems to be doing fine. I have added a living mulch layer that I am honestly fascinated with and plan to grow it in my germ bin continually with basil for perpetual use. As usual Happy Growing and Good Harvesting💪
Week 3 of veg and everything is smooth sailing with the Blue Gelato 41 in the sprout box. Her super soil mix is cooking and hopefully by then end of next week her new home in a 1 gallon pot will be ready for her to move in and hang out for a while...Happy Growing Growmies! Thanks for Stopping By🙏
@Sammy23, Thank You So Much🙏 Yeah I am a big fan of Barney's Farm!!! I mean don't get me wrong I like other Breeders and love growing them but Barney's is and forever will be my go to✊
If I may, your gal looks like she's stretching pretty hard. What's the distance and intensity of your light? I noticed this with your other diary as well or is this by design?
As for the nutes, I've enjoyed using those on a previous grows to amend the soil and just messing around. Less work and more organic. I have three diaries going on now that will only be amended with dry nutes from down to earth, RO and Well water :)
@Ze1ro, It's a T5 germ bin setup it's the same one that is pictured in my alien rock candy grow....Once I transplant them I bury them a little deeper....almost up to their necks. I recently got it and have just been trying it out...As far as DTE goes, I will always use them no matter what grow. Personally, I like the single ingredient amendments but I am using the 444 484 blend on my GG.
