100% germination, didn't even take a full 48 hours for seeds to crack and taproot to start showing on these guys. This is my first Mephisto run so my hopes are high! Running this and also 3x CDLC x Skywalker freebies in a 4'x5' room.

5/10 update: Two of the seedlings started to fall over (they all got a little leggy while in rooters) so some support was added for them. Other than that, seedlings are coming along! 5/13 update: End of weed 1 as seedlings, they have stopped stretching but supports were left in. I need to replace with "temporary" supports tomorrow.

So far seedlings are coming right along. Supports added to two of three plants is keeping them upright and chugging along. Planning on transplanting everything by the end of this week into forever 5 gal home! So excited for this damn strain... 5/20 update: All the ladies got transplanted into 5 gal pots with happy frog, perlite, nature's living soil - autoflower and Mykos in the bottom of fabric pot hole. I cut away the cups this time and soil was a little dry but transplant went fine and none of them seem shocked or stressed!

5/24 update: started LST on all the ladies on 5/23, they all pulled out of their ties in no time and I'm just going to keep on bending them, no topping this time. Top dressed each 5 gal pot with 1 tsp of Roots Organic Uprising Grow this week, will probably up to 2 tsp next week or maybe week after, not too worried about burning them right now but we shall see. I also plan to add some of the Roots Organic Cal Mag supplement or top dress with something in a couple weeks. I'm very happy so far!

5/31 update: Top dressed the ladies today, 2 tbsp Roots Organic Uprising Grow and plain water. Recharge and Fish Shit will be next water unless I get some compost tea (or quit being a lazy ass and make some). Growth is coming along well, starting LST as needed, since I did not end up topping or FIM'ing this run, I will LST pretty aggressively. Ladies are starting to show pistols today which is a little worrisome since they are all so small, but I'm expecting and hoping for some rapid growth pretty soon. 6/3 update: Ladies are just beginning to get their preflower stretch and showing good growth. They will be getting their first bit of compost tea next week for their first feeding, I will continue LST and doing what I'm doing and hoping for the best!

6/10 Update: Ladies showed great growth during this preflower/flower stretch. All of them got some compost tea for the first time this week and also had Mammoth P introduced into the bene feed of the week. Dry amendment is still the same (RO Uprising Grow), next week I will switch to 1 tbsp Grow and 1 tbsp Bloom I think, we'll see on feed day. I am doing as much LST on these ladies as possible, they are growing very viney and I want to control the canopy and plant shape a bit with these I believe. I'm assuming this is just the Sativa genetics and not a lack of light as the other 3 meph freebies I have running are more indica leaning and they are quite squat. I'm excited to see this grow continue!

6/16 update: Ladies are growing very well and continuing to stretch slightly. L3 is a little bit smaller than the other two but they are all doing alright. All ladies are getting a little more water than normal today as I will be leaving town for a few days! Hoping for big growth when I return!

6/24 update: plants are cruising along. got calcium deficiency (I think) and started adding back in a small amount of tap water to every gallon of RO water these ladies got. I started giving them coco water last week with every watering too for micro nutrients. First and second plants look much healthier than third, third one also has the most deficiency spots. Did not account for how quick I would have issues when using RO water and also using LED's while doing the dry amendment topdressings. Right now, 2 looks the most promising and 3 is just not in the best shape but should end up alright.

7/1 update: ladies are all growing well enough, I believe I've stunted 3 with transplanting or something and I may have also slightly stunted 1. I believe that I kept all of these plants in the solo cups too long and that it did not appear to shock them, but it may have slowed down what should have been more rapid growth. Next run I'm going to try just starting in rapid rooters and onto final pot.

7/8 update: Ladies are still plugging away. I noticed a seed in 3 couple days ago, haven't seen nanners and other 2 ladies seem fine. I did notice another seed in another plant of different strain in same tent but it was just one in that group so I'm hopeful that I won't have too many more. 2 is still growing the biggest and the way it is stacking and the way it has grown, it should end up yielding nicely. No distinct smells yet, just a fresh and generic cannabis aroma currently. Looking like 1 and 3 might only have a couple more weeks left, 2 i think will take at least 4 more weeks. Currently debating on giving all the ladies one last batch of compost tea, we'll see next week!

7/15 update: #1 and #3 are getting very close, #3 is probably ready but I still see some clear trichs and i'll let it go till 7/19 and figure it out then. #2 is a bit behind the other two and definitely seems to take after the Mango Smile parent a bit more I think, It is much taller and lankier, plus it is chunkier than the others. I'm fairly certain #2 will yield more than #1 and #3 combined at this point. #3 is definitely the smallest and least healthy of the bunch, I also believe I stressed #3 into herming a tad and spread some pollen all among my mephisto tent. I've noticed some seeds in buds in #3 and #1, more in #3. I have seen 1 seed so far in my other Meph run that I harvested this week and some potential seeds in the other two Meph plants not part of this diary. I'm not the happiest about missing the herm and getting some seeds, but I don't think it will be that bad (if it is, I'll just hash it all and pay better attention going forward). Anyways, still excited about this strain and finishing up this run!

7/22 update: Harvested #3 on 7/19 and she has been lightly dried and put away for curing. So far she has a faint smell of mango or some kind of tropical fruity smell that I'm calling mango...Once RH drops a little I'll test press some flower into rosin. As I was trimming I believe #3 herm'd at some point so there will be some seeds in #3 and #1 (assuming #2 as well). Not the happiest but here we are. I'm planning on chopping #1 on 7/26 or maybe 7/28 depending, I believe this lady will just get the chop and freeze to hash out. If #2 looks to have many seeds, I will probably hash her as well. All in all this was a run to dial in the new grow environment and also try out Mephisto freebies in preparation of running the actual named Meph strains so I'm very optimistic. #2 is still stacking up and is looking to be a very nice yielder, hopefully just without seeds! Anyways, I will keep on keeping on and we'll see what happens!

7/29 Update: Lady #1 got the chop on 7/26 and she went right into the freezer to wash and then press for live rosin. I don't have a freeze drier yet but I may get a nice vacuum pump and rig one together with some dry ice so I can limit oxidation and terpene loss when drying the hash, anyways it had some seeds so I didn't want to keep it for flower. #2 is still growing well, she's had some heat and light stress but she's still bulking up and coming along nicely. I may have to get some plant yoyo's soon because buds are starting to weigh down a few branches. Hoping this one is ready in 2-3 weeks or less!
