Mr_SCROG It's the 12th day. So far, everything is OK, except for the temperature. I need to change the grow box - go for a bigger one. Right now, there are 4 pairs of leaves growing, and on Sunday evening we'll switch to a strong nutrient solution and into a 20-liter container. The veg is picking up pace.

Mr_SCROG I couldn't wait for the evening, so I transplanted my little one into a new 20-liter pot on Sunday morning and gave her 600 ppm of nutrients. The battle with high temperatures begins. In just one day, the girl spread her leaves and lifted them up (you can see it in the photo). The little stem is starting to thicken. Apparently, she liked the nutrients... I decided to start LST. She's still small and soft. I'll buy some rubber bands a bit later; I don't have time right now. For now, I'm using makeshift materials. Upd: During the training, disaster struck - the little one's stem cracked. It split lengthwise, about 1mm wide and 2.5cm long. I left it bent. It didn't start wilting overnight. On the contrary, the leaf span increased by 1cm. Upd2: After 12 hours (after work) - I took measurements. New leaves grew by 1.5cm. It seems she's not reacting to the injury. Upd3: The girl continues to grow as if nothing happened. White bumps appeared in the cracks on the green flesh - new roots seem to be forming. I don't know if that's good... Upd4: White growths appeared in patches all over the wound. The plant is getting bigger, but it hasn't eaten anything for two days (pH and TDS aren't changing). Today I noticed that the adult leaves have 7 "fingers" instead of 5. I ordered a grow tent for two planting spots. I'll get it next week, and we'll be moving. Into the new tent and onto a new strong solution.

Mr_SCROG A new week has started! I'm still waiting for the tent, the plant is in the same conditions. The growth dynamics haven't changed. Upd: The grow tent has arrived! I'm waiting for the weekend. The little one will recover from FIMming and we'll be moving to the new space. I'm ordering a net for SCROG. Upd2: We have moved! The temperature in the new tent is much better. A new trimmer has been set up. SCROG is ordered. I'm waiting for the delivery of the inline fan and two more hanging ones - for inside the tent. Upd3: I ordered professional GHE nutrients. Everything except Bio Roots. It's a bit late to feed the roots. I'll get it in a week and post photos. Upd4: The nutrients are already with me. And with her ;-) I transplanted to full-spectrum feed.

Mr_SCROG A new week has started (vegetation - 4, total - 5). On the very first day, we did defoliation. We're soaking in the "GHE Protect" spray. A week of growth ahead! Last night, the power went out in the house. They'll turn it back on in the evening at best. I'm worried. Upd: the power is back on. I came home early to set everything up. The girl didn't get enough light and had some overflow. The tips of the leaves curled. We'll be spreading them out. I changed the solution and raised the lamp higher.

I had a day without electricity on the hydroponics and got a overflow. (The water and air supply weren't working). What to do if there’s no generator? Box for 1 plant.

I would try adding hydrogen peroxide to the resovoir in the case of a power outage. In theory it would provide some oxygen to the roots.. temporarily. Just make sure you are not using microbes as the peroxide will kill any beneficial bacteria. Or better yet buy a cheap generator that you can use as a power supply

Mr_SCROG On the second day of the week, a repeat defoliation was carried out. Leaves with signs of overwatering were removed, and new shoots were exposed. Upd: I ordered Cal-mag. I'll update the solution on Saturday. The SCROG arrived. Now we stretch under it. Upd: Today, electricians were messing around in the house for half the day. There was no light again. But I was clever and changed the light schedule a week ago (after the overwatering accident) - now the lamp is off during the day, so my plant didn't suffer this time. However, the pH hasn't been rising for a whole day, and it even dropped a bit. I'm asking a question... Upd: And again, there was no light. Because of this, I lost 3 hours of the light schedule. They promised it won't happen again...

It's been a day since the pH of the solution stopped rising. It even dropped a bit. (It was 5.9, now it's 5.7). The girl was trimmed two days ago (defoliation). This didn't happen after the previous procedure. What's the problem? Is this normal?

Hi mate, the safe range for DWC is 5.5-6.5. Shes within that range so I wouldn't worry. It does fluctuate from time to time. Just keep an eye on it. Hope this helps 🙂

Mr_SCROG Start of a new week! I changed the solution to a fresh one and added Cal-Mag. Ppm rose to 850, didn't dilute it because I'd lose some nutrients, and there's not enough space in the container. I switched to a larger aeration stone and wove my SCROG. Now there are more cells and they're smaller. Video of the setup is attached. Upd: I can't go without adventures. Two days ago, my pH meter broke down. It showed 15ph. I panicked and started pouring pH- and only after two hours did I realize that the expensive device was broken... As a result, the girl stood for 2 hours at 2.5ph. Then the drainage got clogged (I'll never use coconut again). I had to knead the container with the substrate, along with the roots. This morning the little one looked bad - droopy leaves, as if from under-watering. I adjusted the pH and went to work. I hope to see an improvement in her condition when I return. I'm worried.

Another accident happened - the pH monitor broke. It showed 15 pH the day before yesterday morning. In a panic, I added pH- and only after 2 hours realized that the pH meter wasn't working. As a result, the girl stood in a solution of 2.5 pH for 2 hours. This morning the plant looks bad. Will it survive?

She will be suffering thats for sure. You may have killed any beneficial bacteria you had in the root zone but if you adjust you pH and carry on as normal she should recover. Shit happens man, best way to learn. I have made loads of silly mistakes but all it has done is made me more confident. I hope this helps, good luck and happy growing

Mr_SCROG After the 10th day, when the signs of flowering (pre-flower) became clearly visible, I did a defoliation. I removed all the old leaves and some of the young shoots. I also had to take off half of the adult branches - there were more than 60 of them, and it wasn't beneficial for the plant. About 30 are left now (if you count the short shoots closer to the top). I'm giving nutrients during pre-flower through watering (every 6 days), gradually increasing the PPM.

Mr_SCROG At the end of last week, a faint smell appeared and within two days it became so intense that I had to take action. I installed an air purification system with a carbon filter and bought a special room freshener. The noise has doubled, and the temperature has risen by 6 degrees. But the smell has completely disappeared, even with the balcony door closed. Today, during the day, I'll water with plain distillate. Should I do another defoliation or not? I'm in doubt. I was gifted a magnifying glass 30x/60x. Now I'll be adding one photo in "macro" each week. The buds have become sticky, almost wet. The plant is a joy to behold. No techniques were applied this week. Upd: On Saturday, 13.11, I did remove part of the crown. I took off almost all the old leaves and even some of those that are already in trichomes but block the light to the buds. Upd2: How do I clean my fingers?

Mr_SCROG Almost all the trichomes have turned milky, some are starting to yellow. The leaves are also changing color. On Friday, I fed 'Ripen' for the last time. The next 10-15 days will be for cleaning and preparing for the harvest.

Mr_SCROG The last week before harvest has passed. And although there are still few amber trichomes, the leaves are already changing color, time is running out, and the holidays are just around the corner. So, for the entire last week, we've been drinking 'Clean', today is the last night under the lights. Next - ice (experiment), darkness for a day or two and... ____________________________ Directed by Robert D. Wiede

Happy Harvest Day!

Hi @@@Mr_SCROG ive seen your setup and the growroom and lights look nice. But I see the short plants and think you have your growlights on full and too close. The photo shows it. Way too much light during vegetation. Put lights 20 cm higher and on 33% for two weeks. Also give some extra calmag by spraying leaves. 1/3 mil on 3rd liter water.. spray plants put fan on higher until dry. Only with lights on 33%. Good luck with growing brother! You will see extreme growth coming weeks!

@@Mr_SCROG, yes unfortunate time for the lights to stop. Hopefully the light is repaired very soon. Im thinking about solutions but I have no experience with eb/flow systems or ways to prevent overwatering other than maybe lowering waterlevels, but this leaves roots exposed. I would ask this as different growquestion in Hydro and maybe some people with experience have a solution! Good luck!!

@BioBuds, thanks for the tips. I raised the lamp 20cm higher. Unfortunately, I can't make it quieter. But for now, it's at 200w. I'll add two 50w lights for the flowering stage. The girl is doing great!

The girl definitely did great!!! The yield came out just right! 👍🏽

Mr_SCROG commented5y ago
@Rasta_Faraev, thanks for the kind words. She still has issues after the injury: mutations on the leaves, uneven branching. But that's that. I still have five seeds of this strain, so it's a trial run. I'm just worried that it won't hermie after the stress. We'll see in the next 2-3 weeks.

Probably time, bro, how many weeks has it really been since the seed? Not 20, right? Good luck!👍🏻
Mr_SCROG
Mr_SCROG commented5y ago
@Rasta_Faraev, 20 weeks, as it is. Already 21... If you scroll through the report, you'll see that it almost died in week 9. It was overwatered and lost all its roots. This is it, after rehabilitation. More precisely, the only lower branch that managed to survive.
