I put her in the coir pot for my little expirement. I want to know different between put seedling directly into fertilized soil and nursering them in some clean substrate like peat moss.
The substrate in coir pot is just peat moss mixed, the outerside are super soil mixed.
After day 10th of seedling stage, our little mistress roots starting to penetrate through coir pot
Hia. I love those type of weed too.
For germination I always keep it very simple, and I try to be patient. After 8 days with no germination, I was gonna throw it, when finally a root cam out... once again, more recently I added another seed into the soil after 11 days waiting when the other popped out all ready. Finally I now have 2 plants in one pot. Directly in soil, paper towel, I keep it simple but it usually is close de 100% success.
I wish you all the best for it.
@thymewanderer, may i suggest you to check the temperature. Between 12 and 16 degrees is best to avoid fungi attacks that often either kills a young root or plant from its base. If the seedling is around 20 or more, bacteriae and fungis could rapidly develop.
@Celticweed, I decided to dug her up on day 5, still no movement at all. So I try to put some pressure on my pincher, suddenly the seed exploded π she rotten, I swear I didn't spoil her.
Awesome choice! I have grown strawberry pie twice I love this strain itβs very strong effect!!
I have had 100% germination with fast buds Iβve tried so far I stick them 5mm into moist soil (100ml is enough) to start the seed. I then cover with plastic wrap or cup...
keep warm 20c donβt let them get cold once wet.
works like a charm!!
Check out my recent strawberry pie :) π
@PharmaZ, sadly I failed at first time. My only concern when germinating is the heat, my local area quite hot.
Anyways, Thanks for your comment βοΈβοΈ I'll check your diary out for sure
