Hi, Don't over do it with the nutrients as its not reversible, nor wise. A lot of problems can come with overfeeding. Its the older growth that is affected which is pretty normally as they're most likely the leaves not receiving any light through the canopy. The only time you should worry about yellowing leaves is if its the middle of the plant or new growth, but from what I see its all old growth. You've got nothing to worry about. Do a bit of your own research and you'll see this for yourself. Good luck.

hi experienced growers, take a look at the photos/video of this week, can you determine why 1 plant is doing so bad and the rest are doing fine? its just that one doing so bad, kinda weird.

The yellowing leaves I can see are older fan leaves, and they're just old and have done their job of kick-starting their bud site - normal. I can see some signs of old nute burn on the tips of some leaves (yellow/burn tips). All in all though, they look ok for week 3 of flowering. I have a feeling that when you start measuring ppm&ph in your next grow, you might find your ph is a little higher than is recommended.

Are you using the same soil in all 3 pots? It could be a deficiency (or surplus) of nutrients in one of the pots. Or PH issues. Have you tested the PH of the run off for all 3 plants?

@DudeGrowsWeed, Thanks for your help its realy appreciated! Im going to get one of those PH meters next week when i get $$$. If its only 20 bucks on amazon i cant leave it there 😊

@YeOldeGrower, I totally understand about budgets and skipping the PH/PPM meters. I did the same thing in the beginning. But they really helped me out once I finally broke down and ordered them. I think PH is way more important to monitor than PPM, especially if you are feeding lightly. I found a set of both meters on Amazon for $20. Which I feel is probably the best $20 I’ve spent on my grow operation so far. It could also be a nutrient deficiency as you said. Try upping the nutrients and see what happens.

@DudeGrowsWeed, i dont check PH/EC simply because my budget couldnt sustain the equipment, ill get it next grow. Also the alga grow/bloom line from plagron states that you dont need to check PH levels because the algae in the nutrients will regulate it apparently, im guessing a deficiency of nutrients because i realy kept nutes on the low at the beginning, the plant which is doing most bad is also the biggest of all 3, might be she had to get more nutes than the others just because of her size. Yea the soil is all the same, i mixed it myself with 30% cocos

"when should i start flushing? next week? " from the pics, i'd say you have about 4/5 weeks left before harvesting... so you should flush in about 2/3 weeks

@DinafemSeeds, Thanks for the info ill start giving less water and see how they react, i keep using the green sensation and same amounts of alga bloom because i feel like they are doing better and finally stopped yellowing. The heat stress is realy a problem where i live, i live in the northern regions of our beautiful planet and since i started this grow we had nothing but 25-30 degrees celcius each day. The place where i have my tent gets realy hot in the summertime, not rly anything i can do about it or place a airconditioning in the room. Yea your right on not all strains being the same and im doing not that bad right hehe 😎 Thanks for your interest and advice its appreciated! πŸ‘πŸ‘

@YeOldeGrower, So glad you are satisfied my friend :) Now the yellowing. I'm going to say this is a combination of issues being Overwatering Possible nutrient lockout Heat stress We need to tackle 1 problem at a time and the first would be to try and get your plants in a wet dry cycle :) After this we can figure out a way to get your temperatures more stable. Remember. All strains do not act the same. Some need more feed some less this you are learning and your doing ok from our point of view :) I'll keep dropping in to see how you are doing and offer advice where I can :) All the best Mark..

@DinafemSeeds, they are looking fine af 😚, only thing which is worrying me is more leaves are yellowing and falling off, bottom side only tho no new or middle leaves are yellowing. I turned up the nutes from 3 ml/l to 4 ml/l (plagron feeding scheme amount) and next week i hope to get my hands on some Green Sensation booster. Im guessing maybe giving a bit to much water ( 1 liter on 24 hrs ) and nutrient defficiency since the soil im using is kinda dry on nutes after 4 weeks. Im also not checking PH levels since the Algo nute line is supposed to handle the soils PH levels with microbacteria. 😲 But after all they are still doing very splendid! Great plants you have Dinafem im satisfied πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ

The buds are swelling up really well and from what you say you sound to have 2 different phenotypes going on :) 1 is more dense and compact (indica dominant) 2 is more light and airy structures(sativa dominant) This will give you some variety come harvest :) The heat is causing problems which your facing well and the plants look unaffected :) Keep up the great work my friend and I'll be back in on the next update :) All the best Mark..
