ScrOG 2 Cookies Strains by ETHOS

Mid week... Not much going on this week.. They have been born and just trying to not "love them too much" lol.. Just misting them and the medium around them.. I did wet the medium with a tad bit of Floralicious Plus along with some MYCO+.. The Mandarin Cookies was kinda curling a little.. But it has straightened out since I noticed.. They are both so super tiny but noticeably growing.. Still can't believe how fast the ETHOS Cookies cracked open.. 12 hours! Wow... But now the ETHOS Cookies is about a day or so behind the Mandarin Cookies.. So excited for this run.. Oh yeah.. I have the light at 32".. Not 30".. Not sure why the website won't allow me to put 32".. It automatically changes it to 30"... Word...

Beginning of week.. They are happy and healthy.. Feeding every other watering this week with half a dose of CALiMAGic and half a dose of FloraMicro.... Adding in some Floralicious Plus along with the MYCO+.. Not on the nutes list here so I'm just adding it in here.. Mid week... They are lookin good.. Been watering daily.. Gonna try to see if I can get away with every other day.. They got a good, late watering today so they should be good for 48 hours in between waterings.. This medium has ALOT of Springtails.. Those fuckers are really getting annoying.. They dont seem to hurt the plants (as far as I can tell).. But when you're seeing literally probably 100,000 every day in the runoff.. I'm a little nervous of any issues to arise. But so far the plants are looking great.. Growing.. Happy.. Healthy.. 😁 End of week.. Whoops.. Didnt get a chance to take any pics.. But tomorrow is when the next week begins! Pics there! On to the next week!...

Beginning of week.. Mandarin Cookies seems to be a little ahead.. I've been watering till runoff every 2 days.. Seems like I could even go 3 days in between with better results.. More oxygen to the roots.. And I just read on GWE website that overwatering can cause seedling leaves to be kinda.. Wavy 🌊 ... I always just shrugged it off.. But I would also get algae on the top of the medium.. Always just shrugged it off.. So wtf.. How do people use frequent fergigation?!?.. 6 times a day?!? That's insane.. Maybe in like 20% coco 80% perlite or some shit.. That's just crazy to me tho.. This run, I'm gonna do the best I can to make everything as perfect as possible.. I have been testing the runoff.. I water till I get alot of runoff too.. Like 1L of runoff.. So when I test it, The TDS is coming out great.. Just where I need them to be.. Infact they are both hovering about 20 PPM from eachother.. Awesome.. But the pH has been going in a 6.3.. But coming out at 6.0 and 5.9.. This is reused coco.. Mixed in with some coco/perlite I premixed a few month before.. But never been used.. So my goal is to get the runoff pH the same as it goes in.. Sometimes I have to run water at 6.5 pH just to get it to bump up a little.. So I may have to do that. It's still in a good range for the ladies.. And it should help bring the pH inside the medium up as well.. And hopfully STAY where I need it at.. But as for now.. I am cutting out the Floralicious Plus.. The MYCO+ has all the same shit.. So I am going to use the MYCO+ for veg and Floralicious Plus in flower.. Makes better sense to me.. But yeah.. These girls already have a different branch and leaf structure that Ive been seeing lately.. They are beautiful! Lol.. Oh yeah.. And I have also lowered the light down to 26" from the ladies.. Keeping it at 25% power.. They weren't stretching too much as far as I could tell.. I'm wanting them to grow into the light about 18" - 20" still keeping the power at 25%.. See how that works out.. I'm trying to avoid using 50% power until flower for now.. To help keep the heat down.. This light doesn't get very hot.. But the warmth it does give off and the size of it does kinda help the tent stay a little warmer than my smaller lights did in my 2x2 tent.. It was eaiser to control the heat I guess.. Plus I could probably upgrade to a 6 inch exhaust fan while running a carbon filter.. But I am very excited to see what these girls do! Mid week.. Runoff pH is still a little fucked off. This morning I ran water pH'd to 6.5 and the Mandarin Cookies runoff came out a 6.3.. But the ETHOS Cookies runoff came out at 5.8 still.. What the eff.. The TDS is good.. Going in and coming out.. Not sure wtf to do at this point.. Maybe just keep doing what I been doing.. But the growth on these girls is insane.. I cant wait till next week when the growth explosions happen! They are both already spitting out some nice, promising branches. I got a cheap PAR meter coming in tomorrow.. I hope it works as well as the $500 meters.. But these plants are looking good... for now.. Almost end of week... My PAR meter came in!! Hells yeah! So my light gets about 200 - 250 PPFD at 20 inches on 25% power.. This should be perfect for now.. As for the pH issue.. Ugh.. I'm gonna just have to run some 7.0 thru the medium or something.. So frustrating.. The Mandarin Cookies is showing some slight pH fluctuation spots on the lowest leaves.. I also removed the first set of leaves and branches.. They were just waaay too tiny.. Now she doesn't have to waste energy on them.. As for the ETHOS Cookies.. She's showing alot less pH issues on her leaves.. Some.. But kinda hard to notice.. This is really frustrating.. May ask a question for this grow... End of week.. The Mandarin Cookies seems to be getting the wavy shit.. Ugh.. Just the very bottom leaves.. But they are also beginning to yellow in spots.. I think I need to up the nutes a bit.. They are already beginning their growth explosion! I love this part.. Everyday you can notice alot of growth.. And eventually, you can sprout 1 set of leaves a day! The branches are sprouting out quite a bit as well!.. Its hard to not water every day, but every 3 days.. I'm gonna have to go to watering every other day, I guess.. I can already see roots coming out the bottom of the pots.. Wow.. I may use some Hydroguard for a few weeks.. Just to help the roots even more.. The ones I see coming out the bottom of their pot are already MASSIVE and WHITER than white!!! I think this MYCO+ stuff really does some magical things with these roots! I just watched a detailed video on how myco (not even gonna try to spell it) spouts its own root.. Which finds the nearest plant root and basically takes root inside the plant root.. Which then spouts out its own root system and is able to get nutrients over 700% or 700× better than without mycorhizae.. Crazy.. And it even works in hydroponics.. Somehow.. Idk how.. Cuz I would think you wash away the myco with each water change.. Maybe not.. Again.. Idk.. But yeah.. Crazy shit.. Anyways.. Gonna bump up the nutes a bit and water every other day (water, feed, water, feed, etc.)... On to the next!...

Beginning of week.. They are looking good for the most part.. Both are beginning to branch nicely.. I'm excited for this run.. Not sure if I want to ScrOG or not... Or top these girls or should I just LST them.. So many options.. Lol.. But there is still time to figure it all out.. Will just have to see how these girls grow.. So far they are looking quite different.. Both Indica dom for sure.. But one has stems (from main trunk to leaf) that are almost twice as long as the stems on the other plant.. You can see the differneces in the pics.. But that being said.. One plant has most light getting to the bottom branches, while the other has to depend on the fan leaf for energy till the branches finally get long enough and exposed enough. Guess we shall see how different they grow.. This week we should see alot of growth! Can't waaaait!!! So happy 😭😭😭 Mid week.. They are lookin great.. I'm thinking that the issue with the Mandarin Cookies' leaves is possibly signs of a magnesium deficiency.. But could also be locked out due to the pH of the medium being a little weird.. I think tomorrow I'm gonna do just a normal watering (no nutes since I fed last time) but only pH the water to 6.8.. If that doesnt work.. I may try 7.0.. And if that STILL doesn't work.. She is gonna have to get a nice shower in the sink.. Gonna have to run a shitload thru.. Lately, the tap has been 7.3 to 7.5.. But damn this is just getting crazy to me.. I know 5.8 is good and whatnot.. But I ALWAYS get issues when I do.. This is why I've kept my pH at 6.2 - 6.3... Mostly for calcium issues.. But anyway.. They are growing quite fast! The ETHOS Cookies seems like she is a little shy.. Not much of a stretcher.. Causing the branches to recieve hardly any light. She is still growing nicely.. Just gonna have to wait a bit longer for those branches to start peakin out from under the fan leaves... But the Mandarin Cookies has her leaves stretched out like she is ready for whatever life brings at her! Both are doing their thing.. And they look beautiful doing it! 😍😍😍 End of week.. Ok.. So I think I'm remembering a week where I didn't feed but only once.. And I remember actually measuring out the FloraMicro out wrong.. But I didn't realize it till I had alreaady put the FloraGro in.. So it's already too late to add the rest of the needed FloraMicro into the mix.. According to the bottle itself.. So I went with it.. And only gave that feeding once the entire week.. And also gave just water after that and waited another 2 or 3 days to feed next.. So maybe that's what's going on with the Mandarin Cookies leaves.. They dont seem like they have spread a whole lot.. I think I even remember reading that the def can show up weeks later.. So I'm hoping it should stop spreading.. It has slowed for sure.. I did put 5mL/4L.. So it technically has been upped a little too.. Maybe she is just one Magnesium hungry lady.. She is still growing quicker than the ETHOS Cookies.. If I hadn't removed the first node from the Mandarin Cookies, she would have 7 nodes, working on the 8th.. But now both are at node 6 working on node 7.. So I think I want to top pretty soon.. Both should have 7 nodes, I just want the crown to grow a little more so that I can make sure I leave a good amount of main stem so that the top 2 branches don't spit as they get older.. Even if I don't ScrOG, I'm still gonna top them and tie branches down either way.. Anyways.. Next week I am gonna change up the nutes a little.. On to the next!...

Beginning of week.. These girls are not looking too bad.. I believe the leaves are not spreading much of those issues anymore.. The medium is still spittin out acidic runoff tho.. The only thing I can think of is the roots from previous runs weren't completely removed.. The decomposing roots inside the medium may make the medium acidic af... But I still don't know 100%.. I read that in 1 forum but again.. Idk 100%.. *sigh.. I really hope I can complete this run with no major issues or hurting yields too much. Keeping my fingers crossed that this will somehow just fix itself lol.. Ugh.. But I am not giving up! I WILL fill this 2x4 tent with MASSIVE ETHOS COLAS! Gonna be topping soon.. As soon as the main stem is long enough to cut and still be able to leave some stem so that the top 2 branches don't spit. These 2 plants have very different branch sizes.. I believe its because of the light not being able to penetrate as much of the branches on the ETHOS Cookies due to the fan leaves being on such short stems. The Mandarin Cookies may take over more than half of the tent.. But that shouldn't be a major issue.. As long as both are getting great light penetration, I'll be happy.. Still not sure if I am gonna LST and ScrOG or just LST.. I really wanna ScrOG and try ir out. I just hope I do it right.. I think I may have it figured out.. Need a little more research! But the girls are doing good.. Temps are getting kinda high here and there.. But they don't seem to mind too much. I will be upping the FloraGro and keeping the Hydroguard in the mix, also.. If it can help with root issues in hydro, maybe it can help my issue too... It says it can turn decaying matter into food for the plants.. So I guess we shall see!... Later that night... So I fed late today and checked the runoff, as I always do.. It had been 3 days since I last watered/fed (flushed actually.. Then added 1L of nutes so she wouldn't be hungry)... *going in (each): - 3L @ 1000 PPM 6.4 pH *runoff: - Mandarin Cookies: 150 PPM 6.0 pH - ETHOS Cookies: 200 PPM 6.0 pH ... So the pH is possibly starting to balance back out! The runoff still did not contain this feeding or the last feeding when it comes to TDS in the runoff.. Unless these girls are drinking/eating it up like that! The roots at the drain holes are looking massive and healthy as can be! I can't imagine they are doing bad in there.. And they are growing quite well.. But I can't wait to get these girls going!!!.. Oh yeah.. I went ahead and topped them both.. Both have 6 nodes.. That is all.. Going to let these girls just start branching out and going to try and not mess with them much (if anything just tie some bramches down to help them all kinda even out.. A.k.a... LST lol) till it is time to lollipop and get ready for flower! Just feeding/watering and tucking leaves when I can so the new colas can start doing their magic! So excited!!! Next day... I found some Coca-Cola crates.. I'm gonna use them to raise the pot and saucers off the ground.. The saucer has been holding moisture underneath and creating a bit of a mildew-ey smell.. So now, I make sure I rinse the entire saucer.. Top and bottom.. With all the airflow in the tent, theybwill dry in 60 seconds no problem!.. But now the tops are 12 inches from the light.. The power is still at 25%.. And now the girls are getting around 300 - 350 μmols/m2/s or whatever it is lol.. Mid week.. Went ahead and fed her again today. I added the Kushie Kush (bloom booster) because it contains the most Potassium.. That is what most of these marks on the leaves are from, I believe.. The runoff pH came out at 5.8 and 5.7 today.. *sigh... I really need this to clear up.. Hmm.. Maybe FloraKleen??? I guess that's all I have left to try.. Flushing multiple gallons every day for 3 or 4 days wasn't enough.. It helped.. But damn, I think I need to pull out ths big guns to clear this up.. Gonna see what happens next watering (2 or 3 days) and see what the runoff is then.. May set it to go in at 6.5 or something.. Idk... Ugh.. I really wanna just try hydro lol.. I bet one plant in a 5 gallon bucket would do awesome in this tent with a ScrOG! Hmmmmm.. Lol... End of week.. Went ahead and lollipopped a little. Both plants.. Also tied some of the longer branches down some.. Once the higher up branches are a little longer, I can then get them all tied down and begin figuring out if I should ScroG.. All depends how this ETHOS Cookies does in the next week or so.. On to the next!...

Beginning of week.. I raised the lights a little.. They are at 50% power at 18" (roughly) from the plants. The ladies are getting from 420 to 500 PPFD. Went ahead and fed them some extra FloraMicro this week.. I'm guessing they are just very hungry girls.. And I'm thinking the pH in the rootzone issue is not clearing up at all.. BUT.. It seems like no matter what pH I water them with.. The runoff ALWAYS comes out at 5.8 or 5.9 with the Mandarin Cookies and 5.8 or 5.7 with the ETHOS Cookies.. So if you want to reuse your coco coir.. Make sure to remove ALL the roots. The girls dont look too bad at all.. And that's why I'm guessing they just needed more nutes in the mix.. We shall see how this week goes! Mid week.. They are looking alot better! Mandarin Cookies is exploding woth growth.. ETHOS Cookies is growing slow but she is growing for sure.. I think I may need to remove a node or 2 on the ETHOS Cookies.. I could just leave it.. But the very top 2 are covering alot of tops.. I could make some clones from it.. Hmm.. All-in-all.. I'm happy with how these girls are growing for now tho.. This rootzone issue isnt going away.. But I think I found a way to make it work out.. I've been watering a little differently.. Here is a bit of an example: Day 1: Feed at 6.5 Day 3: Water at 6.4 Day 5: Feed at 6.3 Day 7: Water at 6.2 Day 9: Feed at 6.5 Day 11: Water at 6.4 Day 13: Feed at 6.3 Day 15: Water at 6.2 Etc... The runoff is staying above 5.5 each time.. But as I lower the pH, the runoff pH lowers as well (obviously).. So I think watering this way has helped keep these gorgeous ladies happy.. And theyare also very hungry.. I may have to start watering one plant every other day.. Water plant 1 tomo.. Water plant 2 the next day.. Then plant 1 the next day and then plant 2 the next day etc... 1 reason I want to start doing it that way is because I think the ETHOS Cookies isn't needing as much nutes as the Mandarin Cookies.. But they are looking great. Very happy and so are they! The heat has been insane lately.. So at the hottest part of the day I try to just turn the light down to 25% for 4 hours or so.. I hate having to do that.. But it's all I can do for now.. Or maybe change the light/dark hours.. Blah.. Whatever, they are happy! End of week.. I supercropped 2 branches.. They pretty much healed up and are already back to normal.. Like it didnt bring them down any lower at all lol.. It straightened back up and its as if nothing happened.. Just a big ass (MOOSE) knuckle lol.. But I stopped using the Kushie Kush and was just using the normal Gen Hydro FloraBloom in the mix. Will be upping the FloraGro next week! Wow.. Such hungry ladies! It's been so long since I've grown a bigger photo period.. I forgot how much they can take!.. On to the next!...

Beginning of week.. These ladies are doing good. Mandarin Cookies is showing some spots on the lowest leaves. I broke off a branch on accident last week so now there will be 3 tops coming from what was left. I'm going to up the FloraGro this week. I need to start feeding each girl differently.. Maybe water/feed Mandarin Cookies one day, then water/feed ETHOS Cookies the next day then back to Mandarin Cookies.. ETHOS Cookies.. Etc. The pH at the rootzone of the ETHOS Cookies MAY be going back to normal.. The runoff is coming out at 6.0 - 6.1 pH.. The Mandarin Cookies runoff is coming out at 5.8 - 5.9 pH.. They are both looking good.. Besides the ETHOS being a runt.. Ugh.. Now how the fuck am I supposed to ScrOG these ladies like this?!?! Lol.. Well.. In 1 or 2 more weeks.. We shall see how they look and if they are ready for ScrOG and flipping to flower soon.. Pretty happy with the way things are going so far... Mid week.. Went ahead and lollipopped the ETHOS Cookies and pulled the branches down a little more.. The runoff is starting to get dialed in.. Going in was 6.3 and runoff was 6.1.. The leaves look nice and healthy.. She is just not a big stretcher.. More Indica I suppose.. If I ScrOG, I'm gonna have to just run the colas straight up pretty much.. And in the corner of the tent.. But the Mandarin Cookies is huge and stretchy af.. I mean.. Just look at the pics! The top 4 branches that I cant get tied down are getting out of control. I'm installing the trellis by the end of this week or beginning of next week.. Hope I do it right! End of week.. Defoliated both a little more.. Adjusted the branches a bit and installed the trellis. I'm using the cheapest nylon 3.5 inch mesh trellis I could find on Amazon lol.. Its kinda shedding and I can already tell it's gonna get ALL in the buds.. Fuck.. But I can spend some extra time picking the shit out BLAH!.. Anyways.. I think 1 more week of veg.. Let some of these lower branches make it thru the trellis.. Lollipop the shit out of these girls till there is nothing below the trellis and flip these ladies into flower.. Still pushing tops thru the ScrOG for a couple more weeks.. I will be devastated if these 2 plants aren't even under this gorgeous light.. If not.. I'm only gonna focus on the Mandarin Cookies.. As in, she will be the main focus on PPFD levels.. I'm hoping the ETHOS Cookies is just staying small because she is building up for the stretch! Lol.. I doubt it.. But that would be kinda cool to have her kinda catch up to her sister.. So ETHOS Cookies is in both strains.. The ETHOS Cookies is just a cross from 2 other ETHOS Cookies phenos (so an F2?) and the Mandarin Cookies is ETHOS Cookies × Mandarin Sunset.. But the main thing to remember.. Is that these are ETHOS genetics.. And these 2 plants will NOT disappoint!... On to the next!...

Beginning of week.. So it was a bit of a "spur of the moment" thing.. But I went ahead and flipped to flower. Tonight will be the first night of 12 hours of darkness for the ladies. I usually try to do the night before, but 1 day isn't much difference. Just going to feed branches thru the trellis.. And branches that dont make it to the trellis will be removed. I have also been HST a bit.. I dont actually damage the stem much.. I just keep twisting it till its finally a little weaker and easier to bend.. Meh.. Maybe actual HST would work better.. Idk lol Mid week.. This update, including the pic, is 1 day late.. Whoops.. But wow the Mandarin Cookies is stretching like cRaZy! I REALLY need to get that girl defoliated.. Like ALOT! Some of her bottom leaves are showing that damn pH fluctuation crap.. It looks so hideous.. But its not spreading too bad.. Idk wtf.. ETHOS Cookies seems to have cleared up tho! That's awesome! But she is still just so tiny.. Growth is VERY very slow.. Was seeing some nute burn so ETHOS Cookies gets a little less nutes on feed days.. Only thing I really change is the amount of FloraMicro.. Instead of 1.5mL/L.. I just use 1 mL/L.. That's pretty much it.. Other than that.. Just been tucking branches when I can.. Gonna defoliate soon.. Very very soon. Its gonna take forever ughhh lol End of week.. Mandarin Cookies is looking nice.. There are ALOT of smaller branches.. If this plant makes fat nugs, there is NO WAY that these long skinny stems can hold up fat nugs.. But we will be seeing how this goes together! Still weirded out by this runoff pH issue.. The ETHOS Cookies runoff is good now.. But the Mandarin Cookies runoff is still coming out at 5.7- 5.8 pH.. No matter what the pH going in is.. It will ALWAYS come out at 5.7 or 5.8.. BUT.. Since that is within the 5.5 - 6.5.. It isnt a problem.. Now that I have been keeping the pH steady, I am seeing no more issies.. No more pH fluctuation spots.. No calcium spots.. Just lucious, green leaves! I hope the Mandarin Cookies doesnt stretch too much, but more than likely, I think she will.. The ETHOS Cookies really needs to stretch tho.. The branches are solid as a rock.. Can't even bend them anymore.. I don't like how close the leaves are to the main stems.. They block ALL the light frok the lower branches.. And she is hardly growing.. I really REALLY hope she stretches some.. Anyways.. On to the next week!!!...

Beginning of week.. They are starting to show pistils everywhere.. They both already showed preflower.. But you can really see more and more pistils popping out every day.. And the Mandarin Cookies is already stretching WAY too much lol.. This isn't gonna work out as I wanted it to.. Ugh.. This one Mandarin Cookies could easily fill this 2x4 tent by herself at this point.. Poor ETHOS Cookies is gonna be drowned out or deprived of light.. But this Mandarin Cookies is gonna produce more than enough by herself as well.. Even if she isn't a huge yeilder! The ETHOS Cookies is showing some hints of some possible early bag apeal?? Maybe?? The stems that connect the leaf to the main stem is showing some cool designs.. Usually they are just solid red or purple.. Or solid green or yellow.. This one is green with red stripes.. Not a deficiency because the plant is healthy. If there were any signs of issues then the coloring on the stem would be an issue.. In this case, it is genetics and usually is in my case.. I've always had 99% of my plants show the red/purple stems.. From autos to photos.. From ilgm to fastbuds.. They almost have all showed this "sunburn" type coloring on the stems that are exposed to the heavy lighting.. Usually nothing to worry about.. Now if you see other issues and that begins to pop up out of nowhere.. Then yes.. It would be a deficiency.. But this is why I love growing in coco.. Its quicker to fix issues than soil.. I can flush all day and still add my nutrients after without having to wait for the medium to dry out.. Hydroponics would be the easiest, I suppose.. Just change the reservoir lol.. Damn.. That was alot of nonsense lol.. Sorry I've been smokin my cheese harvest! Yum! Lol Mid week.. Ok so the Mandarin Cookies was stretching 2-3 inches daily! I went ahead and dropped the Mandarin Cookies off of the crate I still had her on.. Now she is on the ground.. The ETHOS Cookies is still up on 2 larger crates.. A good 10 inches from the ground maybe.. I vegged this Mandarin Cookies a little too long.. I bet one week earlier would have made a HUGE difference.. But whatever.. I am content woth the way things are going.. Runoff pH is still trippin on the Mandarin Cookies.. Usually 5.7.. It has spit out 5.5 once or twice but it seems to jump back up to 5.7 the next watering.. The ETHOS Cookies has been dialed back in.. Runoff is the same as it goes in.. But the ladies are both lookin healthy.. Slowly spittin out more and more pistils.. Within the next 5 days or so, there should be little clusters of pistils at each top.. I'm so excited to see what these girls do under the Optic SLIM 320H!!!.. Beast of a light! Bad ass genetics.. It doesn't get any better than that! Lol... End of week... I am seeing some leaf tips being burnt on the very top leaves (newest sprouts).. Which is understandable.. I have been really pushing these girls.. Really just wasting nutes.. But I am going to down the nutes a bit next week for sure.. Big changes will be made.. No more MYCO Plus.. No more FloraGro.. No more Armor Si (Silica).. Instead of 1400 - 1500 PPM, I think I want to get it down to 1000 - 1200 PPM. We are starting to dry out around here.. And I'm getting close to running out of rain water lol.. But filtering my tapwater should be ok.. Still got the power of the light at 50%... About 12 - 14 inches from the canopy.. For the most part lol.. About 750 μmols at the center and about 500 - 550 μmols at the far ends of the tent. Thinking I may go ahead and upgrade to a 6 inch exhaust system.. I like the Vivosun 6" fan (the black with red blades and adjustable speeds) along with the ducting and a carbon filter.. All for $79.. Not bad.. Anyways.. Next week we should see alot more pistils! On to the next!...

Beginning of week... So the ladies are beginning to stack pistils at the crowns.. The Mandarin Cookies has been stacking a little quicker.. Thicker.. They both are showing purple tips on the stiples.. Not the pistils or leaves.. The stiples.. ETHOS Cookies has been showing that for ever now.. The Mandarin Cookies has just started showing these purple tipped stiples.. Gorgeous plants.. Even tho Mandarin Cookies is super freakishly tall and stretchy.. And the ETHOS Cookies is basically a runt.. Doesn't want to make ANY stems.. But plenty of leaves lol.. She should be able to hold up some super fat colas pretty easily tho so that's awesome! I stopped using the Armor Si and the FloraGro.. As well as the MYCO Plus (powder) stuff.. Also going down on the FloraMicro.. Just basically using 1 tsp/gallon of the CALiMAGic, FloraMicro, FloraBloom, and Kushie Kush.. 30 drops/gallon of the Floralicous Plus (not sure if that's too much to be honest).. 2 tsp/gallon of the FloraNectar Fruit-N-Fusion and last but not least... 2 mL/gallon of Hydroguard... *phew*.. Damn that's alot.. But that's alot less then what I was giving these girls... They should do alot better.. Mid week... I have defoliated the ETHOS Cookies a bit more.. Mostly trying to make sure there is good airflow and no larfy producing branches in there.. She should produce some really nice colas with how short and stubby she is lol.. As for the Mandarin Cookies, I've just been supercropping the shit outta the really tall branches.. I've never supercropped a plant so much lol.. And I'm not good at it at all.. Most of the branches are split open, bruised.. Just very crappy looking.. It will heal, they always do 😂 I just hate hurting them like this.. Especially in flower.. But it's still pretty early in flower.. And the pistils are still exploding just as much as the non-supercropped branches.. I can't wait!!!... End of week.. Both girls are exploding with trichomes! I love these super frosted strains! The ETHOS Cookies seems to be stackin calyxes faster than the Mandarin Cookies.. I can tell the ETHOS Cookies is gonna stack some fat ass colas! The ETHOS Cookies runoff is doing good.. pH going in is 6.2 - 6.3 and runoff is usually 6.0 - 6.2.. Foliage is nice and green.. She may be nitrogen sensitive deeper into flower.. Maybe not.. We shall see.. As for the Mandarin Cookies.. Wow.. This girl is super tall.. She is also stackin calyxes, pistils and nicely. The runoff is still giving me issues but as far as I can tell, she is accepting it and making the best of what she has. Going in pH is 6.2 - 6.3.. Runoff is coming out 5.6 - 5.7.. It's bothering the shit outta me! Lol.. It doesn't seem to matter what pH I put in, it will ALWAYS runoff at 5.6 - 5.7 pH.. But like I said.. She is accepting it as long as I keep the "in" pH in my preferred range.. I usually keep the "going in" pH at 6.1 - 6.3 the ENTIRE grow.. I always get great results doing this.. Its best for Calcium uptake and Calcium is a huge issue when it comes to growing in coco coir.. Anyways.. Both ladies are doing great.. Both look gorgeous and healthy.. Oh yeah!! I like to rub the trichomes to get a little idea of what the terpenes are gonna be like.. And hoooooly shit.. ETHOS Cookies smells like nothing I've ever smelled before.. I can't even begin to explain it.. Literally.. And the Mandarin Cookies is starting to give off a nice citrusy scent.. I hope this carbon filter is able to scrub the air enough.. Cuz if these are anything like the Early Lemon Berry, then yeah, this carbon filter is gonna be put thru the ultimate test lol.. Anyways.. On to the next week!....

Beginning of week.. I only went up on the FloraNectar Fruit-N-Fusion.. The rest, I am going to wait till next week to change up.. The Mandarin Cookies seems like she is right at the end of the stretch.. Still slightly but just about done, if not done now. Both of these girls are stacking calyxes and pistils.. Both are giving off purple stiples.. Not calyxes or pistils.. But the stiples ONLY are purple.. Crazy.. Never seen that before and both ladies have it.. The smells are both already beginning to appear! Both are very tangy already! So excited! Just defoliated a bit more to the Mandarin Cookies this morning.. That's all I think I'm going to do.. Unless I find a larfy nug somehwere.. Other than a few stragglers I may have missed, I believe I'm done with defoliating both ladies now.. Second time with ETHOS Genetics.. Not even halfway thru flower and I can already tell both of these will be on the top of my fav's list for sure. Wow.. Lol Mid week.. Ok so I think the Mandarin Cookies is showing a phosphorus deficiency.. It looks very similar to pH fluctuation.. So.. Stupidly.. yesterday, I went ahead and did a FloraKleen flush in the AM.. Just a plain pH'd water flush in the PM.. And the next AM I went ahead and fed her with the normal dosage I have posted, with the exception of 1.5 tsp/g of the FloraBloom instead of 1 tsp/g.. But it's still too early to tell if it's clearing up.. As a matter of fact.. It does look worse today.. It has spread a little since... 2 days ago.. Which is understandable.. I'm still trying to bring the runoff PPM back up.. Once it's where I'd like it, or where SHE likes it, it should clear up within a week.. Oh.. The runoff pH is like 5.6 - 5.5... I know they say that's ok.. But I have YET to have a plant survive even in hydro at 5.5 pH.. Idk why they even say that's ok to be at lol.. If this isn't a phosphorus deficiency.. Then its gonna be pH fluctuation.. Ugh.. Should've just started with new, buffered coco/perlite in fabric pots.. But they are both trucking along.. ETHOS Cookies smells so dank.. I can't even begin to describe.. Mandarin Cookies is smelling very fruity.. Both have VERY complex aromas for sure! Typical ETHOS strains for sure... I can tell these are gonna be some awesome nugs when these girls are finished! End of week.. Mandarin Cookies has stopped stretching for sure.. The calyxes are already so fat! This is gonna be some nice bud for sure.. Very fruity, sweet, citrusy.. Man, I can't wait to taste her! And the ETHOS Cookies.. Wow.. Such a different scent than I've ever smelled before.. Very hard to pinpoint exactly.. Still short as all fuck, but these colas should be pretty nice and dence.. The tips of the calyxes are already turning purple/blue.. I know the temps aren't low at all.. Even at night.. About 82F - 84F during the day and 73F - 75F at night.. Humidity jumps up and down.. Idk wtf the deal is with that.. But they are both lovin life.. I believe the Phosphorus def. has slowed and almost stopped at this point.. The runoff pH is getting even lower.. Now it is coming out at 5.5.. I've ran FloraKleen thru.. Flushed the shit out of the medium multiple times.. Smh.. Can't seem to get this to clear up.. The ETHOS Cookies runoff pH is perfect.. Going it at 6.2 every watering/feeding and runoff is 6.1 - 6.2 with no fluctuations whatsoever.. Perfect! My best guess is that I left the too many roots from the previous grow and they go acidic after a while.. The ETHOS Cookies pot maybe didnt have as much? And it was able to clear out now?? No idea.. I hope the Mandarin Cookies clears out soon.. Or at least that she makes it through till harvest.. ETHOS Genetics for the win!... On to the next week!...

Beginning of week.. Ok.. So it seems as if the Phosphorus deficiency has cleared.. But now the runoff pH is coming out 5.5 - 5.4 when it goes in at 6.3 every watering.. And this morning the runoff PPM was a bit high and that's just with plain water.. She needs another plain water before I feed again.. Idk wtf is going on in this rootzone but its really confusing the shit outta me! Ugh! Now I see that the Mandarin Cookies is ALSO showing some purple tipped CALYCES (didnt know THAT is how you spell the plural for calyx!) These are gonna be some dank, gorgeous ladies by harvest! I can't wait!! So I guess I will try to water/feed at 6.5 for a couple waterings.. That makes me nervous tho lol.. They say its "fine".. that it's "ok"... Bullshit.. I always hit some issues if I move out of 6.1 - 6.3.. But the runoff is getting WAY too low if it's at 5.4.. Doing the 6.5 thing should help for a little bit, it did last time.. Not perfect but it helped. Mid week.. ETHOS Cookies is doing great.. No issues.. Runoff is perfect.. Still just needs watering/feeding every other day.. I COULD go everyday with her.. But that's a little too time consuming for me at the moment.. I should have changed the 12/12 cycle from 5 - 5 to 7 - 7 or something.. Blah.. As for the Mandarin Cookies, she was flushed a bit for about 36 hours with no nutrients.. So she is showing some wounds on her leaves.. Looks like mostly calcium def. spotting.. Also I do see some purple/red stripes on her main stalks/stems.. Looks kinda cool tho.. I remember I had an autoflower do that before.. the entire stem went completely RED.. it was beautiful lol... But her flowers and trichomes are still boomin! Just for shits and giggles, I went ahead and checked the trichomes on both ladies.. Mandarin Cookies seems to already be showing alot of milky.. Definitely 0 amber trichomes.. But alot are cloudy. She may be done super quick! Idk.. ETHOS Cookies is still showing mostly clear.. A few milky here and there.. Both smell so amazing! Damn, I really can't wait to have a threesome with the lovely ladies! By the way they both smell already.. It's gonna be fucking orgasmic!

Beginning of week.. Just going to keep the nutes the same till the flush.. Runoff of the Mandarin Cookies is coming out at 5.5 - 5.4 pH.. Wtf.. And it seems like after 3 or 4 feedings (with just plain watering in between) that a salt build up occurs.. The runoff will be well over what I've even put into the medium.. Weird.. Really shoupd have prepped this medium better.. But live and learn.. And they will both make it to harvest.. So at least there's that lol.. But yeah they are both showing purples on calyces.. So beautiful! So frosty! So lemony and piney! I love this shit! Lol Mid week.. The Mandarin Cookies runoff pH is coming out at 5.3 - 5.4 while going in at 6.2 - 6.3.. Makes no sense to me.. And it's getting worse. After doing a cycle of feed, water, feed, water, etc.. The runoff is still showing that the TDS is still high after doing a feed, water, feed, water.. So what I've been having to do is feed, water, feed, water, water.. If I don't do that second watering with a watering right after (I usually like to do the 2 waterings in the same day.. 1 in the AM and 1 in the PM and then I am able to go back to starting the cycle all over again) the TDS will just keep rising. Even with the waterings in between.. She ALWAYS needs that second watering to keep the salts from building up in the medium.. Hmm.. Kinda weird.. I have noticed that the loose medium (about 1 inch of the top layer of medium) that the medium underneath is pretty solid.. Like maybe there was ALOT of coco dust still in there that needed to be flushed out during the prepping and buffering process.. And since I did not prep or buffer this reused coco coir and perlite, that it is creating salt build-up.. That's my take on it. So something to keep note of.. Don't skimp on prepping and buffering the coco coir before using.. And if you reuse the coco coir, you MUST repeat the prep and buffer process to avoid issues later on.. Makes sense to me now, I guess lol.. But the ETHOS Cookies is doing great.. Runoff is coming out just as it should.. pH and PPM.. Both ladies are stacking nugs and trichomes nicely! I LOVE the smell when I open the tent! And I love when I'm smelling some of the colas and it's as if my lips are glued together and you can just smell the amazing terpenes for damnnear half the day at work 😂 but anyways.. Both gorgeous ladies are showing some purples in top of calyces and top leaves.. Already seeing alot of milky trichomes in both girls too.. I guess this shouldn't be too much longer!!! So exciiiited!!! 😁😁😁🙅‍♀️🙌😤 End of week.. The Mandarin Cookies is starting to show a few different deficiencies.. Looks like Potassium, Calcium.. And maybe even a couple other things. I know its due to the runoff pH being at 5.3 now.. I've tried everything I can think of.. It's gotta be due to not prepping it correctly.. It worked out OK for me for a few grows.. But now it's had all it can take.. The plant should barely make it to harvest.. Pistils are still pretty lively.. She still has room to fatten up a bit too. She is a pretty girl tho.. Very smelly.. As for the ETHOS Cookies.. Wow.. Doing great.. Just a runt.. But wow.. Terps are so complex and stinky.. Both plants are giving off beautiful purples already in the calyces.. Such gorgeous genetics.. ETHOS FTW for sure!.. Getting closer to harvest!!! 😁😁😁... On to the next!....

Beginning of week.. Both have some gorgeous flowers.. Purples are already coming out on both. Both are flooding with complex aromas.. ETHOS Cookies is doing great.. Mandarin Cookies is gonna make it to harvest, I'm sure.. So excited! Mid week.. I love how they both are giving off nice purples on the calyces already! Both smell so amazing! It makes me tear up with joy! Not sure when I should start flushing! ETHOS says that you count 9 weeks from flip to 12/12.. Not pistils forming.. Cuz you know, you need to factor in the transition time.. 1 - 2 weeks.. Sometimes 3! But I am super excited to harvest these lovely ladies!!! Next day... Ok.. So the runoff issue has gotten worse for the Mandarin Cookies.. Obviously, with all the def. you can see.. At least 3 that I can see right away.. Calcium.. Potassium.. Phosphorous.. Maybe even a slight Magnesium def. in there too.. Kinda hard to pinpoint when there is multiple showing, yet I am feeding PLENTY of all of them.. She should have no issues.. The runoff pH is now coming out at about 4.9 - 5.2, depending on a good or bad day, I guess.. I have just been puttinf it in at 6.3 every time.. Sometimes (alot now) I get a salt build-up between feedings.. I like to feed, water, feed, water.. Now I need to feed, water, water, feed, water, water... It's really bothering the shit outta me lol.. But the ETHOS Cookies is pretty close to peing on point.. Going in: 6.3 pH.. Runoff: 5.8 - 5.7.. Still in a decent range.. No signs of issues on any leaves.. They are both making some gorgeous nugs tho! Stackin calyces and trichomes lile crazy! And now they are really fattening up! I am so ready for this run to be over and let this medium dry out reeeeally good.. And take it out back Ol' Yeller style.. Yup.. That sounds like a plan.. I have PLENTY of NEW coco coir bricks and perlite that I have been hoarding.. Just like I do with my genetics 😄.. But I feel like you can never have enough.. And I plan on growing cannabis in coco coir till someone takes me out back Ol' Yeller style! End of week.. They are both showing about 50% turned pistils.. The ETHOS Cookies is a little further along.. Not by much.. But the trichomes on the Mandarin Cookies seem a little further along.. Word.. They are both going to be epic smokes for sure! So I believe I will just give both of them small feedings just to get them through the week, then I should be good to start flushing.. On to the next week!...

Beginning of week.. I almost started the flush this week.. But no, they need AT LEAST one more week of like a half dose of feedings.. then, I'll begin the flush. But they are both so beautiful! Lol.. So many purples in the ETHOS Cookies.. And the smell.. I can't get over the way she smells! So intense! Gonna be a great smoke for sure! Just don't want to harvest too early.. I did that with the Early Lemon Berry from ETHOS and it got me high.. But it was a very paranoid high.. Like VERY very paranoid hahaha.. I didn't like it.. But it tasted GREAT! But yeah, I harvested a little too early.. Not enough amber trichomes. And with these girls.. I feel comfortable flushing for 3 weeks if needed.. So this week I'm just gonna give them both a half dose (or so) of nutes but keep the sweetener at full power! Lol anyways.. Just (tRyInG tO) keeping these girls happy till the flush! The Mandarin Cookies leaves are beginning to look pretty pathetic.. They fall off pretty easily.. And look like complete shit in most spots.. Just can't wait to get these girls ready to smoke!!! They are getting STACKED! 💪💪💪 Mid week.. Still giving both plants: water, 1/2 feed, water, 1/2 feed, water, etc.. Mandarin Cookies gets watered/fed everyday (mornings) and the ETHOS Cookies gets watered/fed (afternoons usually). They are both looking like they should finish pretty close together. Trichomes are eVeRyWhErE! Seeing quite a few milky/cloudy.. Still quite a few clear tho too.. And almost no amber trichomes.. A couple here and there.. But not enough to even say amber are even forming really. Lol.. So pointless to even bring up.. Not till I see a gang of them.. Or at least a couple on one calyx to say there are some amber lol.. Just my 2 pesos, I guess.. Yet I suck at timing the harvest just right lol.. Still trying to find MY sweet spot.. Meh.. Anyways.. Just look at those pictures!!! Gorgeous colas! Good fucking job on these genetics ETHOS.. Good.. Fucking.. Job... End of week... Wow.. Just.... Wow... These ladies are looking awesome. This next week will be week 9 from 12/12.. Most of the pistils have turned.. Not all.. But more than 50% for sure. They are both looking about the same when it comes to pistils and trichomes.. Just BARELY starting to see some amber coming thru.. Still some clear.. But the next 2 weeks of flushing should give them enough time for the clear to mature a bit and should see more amber by then.. Hopefully not too many.. But I will harvest at the end of this week if they seem to mature too quick for another week.. 1 week of flushing in coco should be plenty.. I just like to overdose these ladies on water at the end.. It really does make a difference in my opinion.. I've even flushed a plant for like 4 or 5 weeks and yeah she looked like shit.. But only the leaves looked shitty.. The buds were still gorgeous as ever and VERY flavorful!.. Anyways.. This is about THIS grow.. These ladies are still loving life.. I have been slowly weaning them into the flush.. Not flushing them completely all at once.. But over a longer period of time so they can still get some nutes in.. But I am happy.. They are happy.. Tomorrow I will begin FloraKleen for both girls... And even run it thru the medium 2 days in a row.. Just to really get EVERYTHING out of the medium.. Then just water as I have been till harvest! Home stretch!!!!... On to the next week!...

Beginning of week.. I am beginning the flush today.. I ran some FloraKleen thru the medium.. Then just watwr tomorrow.. Then FloraKleen once more the next day.. Then just water till harvest! Not even going to pH the water and I want to see if it brings up the runoff pH any.. Just for shits and giggles, I suppose. Look at those colas! Man, they are gonna be delicious! Mid week.. Wow.. These girls are maturing quick! I think I could harvest in the next couple days.. But 1 more week should do wonders! They are both neck and neck with eachother it seems.. A few ambers starting to pop up all over the top colas.. I think by next week they should be perfecto!!! So excited! I did a super late defoliation.. I know that is not ideal to do this so late.. But the humidity is getting crazy out of control at times.. It doesn't sit there very long.. But my dehumidifier is much needed. The fans should be helping combat any mold.. I hope 🤞🤞🤞 should be fine.. These are some super sense nugs! Even the lower nugs are pretty dense! So so SO excited!!! End of week... Posted a video this update.. Plants are looking great! The Mandarin Cookies is flopping all over the place lol.. I COULD harvest now.. But I'm going to wait 1 more week.. They should be perfect! That will be 10 weeks from 12/12.. As of today.. The mediums of both plants should be good and flushed by now.. I've been using unpH'd rainwater to flush (30 - 40 PPM at 7.0 pH).. And some FloraKleen (2x for both plants) and now the runoff is reading about 80 PPM at 6.8 pH for the ETHOS Cookies and about 100 PPM at 6.3 pH for the Mandarin Cookies.. Very excited for this run to be over.. Kinda wanna try a 1 plant ScrOG'd in this 2'x4' tent under the Optic Slim 320H before I swap out tents and start bustin out the autoflowers till it's cool again 😎 but I am ready to start smokin these ladies! Anyways... On to the LAST week!!!...

Beginning of week.. This is the last and final week for sure for sure lol.. That makes 10 weeks from 12/12.. And by the trichomes they should both be prefect!.. With the Mandarin Cookiea having just a tad bit more amber than the ETHOS Cookies.. They both should have plenty.. This week may be cut a day short.. Because the only day I can find time to harvest will be the day before the next week starts.. The last day of the week (end of week).. And I want to go ahead and try the 48 hours of darkness thing once more.. To see if it may have any effect.. I guess if alot of people already do it.. What can it hurt??.. Anyways.. Still just giving rainwater.. Lately it has gone down on the PPM side.. Niceeee.. I was going to get some distilled and run it through (0 - 10 PPM) but the rainwater is at 15 - 17 PPM.. That's close enough for me.. Maybe still run a gallon of distilled the day before I begin the 48 hours of darkness thing-a-ma-doodle lol.. Today.. This is what happened... Going in: 17 PPM at 6.9 pH for both.. Run off: Mandarin Cookies was 100 PPM at 5.9 pH and the ETHOS Cookies was 54 PPM at 6.0 pH.. I think the Mandarin Cookies needs to be flushed a bit more before I feel comfortable with the flushing.. I believe its fine to not flush for a whole 2 weeks at 0 PPM or whatever.. But I do like to get it down pretty low by harvest time.. But I think everything will be fine.. Just gotta make sure I dont fuck up the drying 😬😬😬 Mid week.. Almost there!!! So excited! Can't wait! Got both runoffs at 50 PPM.. Just been watering as usual.. Both of these strains are going to be epic af! I think tomorrow will be the last day of lights on.. Going to begin the pre-harvest dark period to hopefully increase trichome/thc production or whatever it does 😂😂😂 if this bud ends up better than anything I've ever grown then I will do it every grow!.. But we shall see!!! End of week.. No pics this update.. They are both bathing in complete darkness for a couple days then CHOP!... Haven't even peaked at them.. They both should be on point! So happy for this to be just days away from going into jars!!! I've already cut a small branch from the Mandarin Cookies and dried it for 5 days.. A little faster then I wanted.. But wow.. It tasted immaculate.. I removed every leaf I could.. Leaving just the calyxes.. No chlorophyll.. Not really enough to get a buzz from.. Plus that was like 2 weeks ago.. So it was still too early for any decent amounts of THC.. But the taste is delicious af!.. I will take some pics before the chop and post them for the "end of this week" since it is going to be a day early anyway.. End of week.. Nvm lol.. Took some pics before harvesting and here they are! Even a sneak peak at the drying in the tent.. May be awhile till I post the harvest.. Want to make sure I give the best review on these ladies as I can! Hells yeah!!! So dank!

Ran into some pH issues in the medium.. Runoff would come out at 5.5 at times.. But now that I think about it.. The plant was very Indica.. Fat leaves.. The leaves stayed super close to the main stalk.. Not letting ANY light to the lower branches.. But defoliation is obviously a must.. I grew this with another strain.. Mandarin Cookies and she was ready to flip weeks earlier for sure.. If I could have vegged maybe 2 more weeks she would have been able to fill her half of the tent alot better.. But all in all.. Great strain! Very terpy! Very complex aromas! Super dank strain! Pretty Indica, I'd say... Narcotic like effects. Beautiful plant.. Awesome tastes! Impossible to even try to explain!

The medium had issues from, pretty much, day one.. She did show the issues on the leaves.. But it did NOT slow her down a bit.. She outgrew her side of the tent. Very stretchy! Super pretty.. I feel I got a very Mandarin Sunset pheno type.. Looks alot like the pics of ETHOS Mandarin Sunset.. But wow.. Great terpy strain also.. Very lemony.. I love ETHOS!
