So on the 19th we are just one week away from Full Moon, it's a perfect moment to put the seeds to germinate. I didn't want them to be monsters, that's why the late planting. It is gonna be a totally organic grow of three different strains: Durban Poison (Sativa), Durga Mata (Indica) and a Liberty Haze (60 % Sativa, 40 % Indica). Nutes are gonna be organic Alfalfa meal, Seaweed, Fish meal, Bat guano, Palm Tree Ash applied as Top dressings and as a Fermented juice I made from the first 3 ingredients with brown sugar and molasses (based on recipes used in Korean Natural Farming) I use EM (Efficient Microorganisms) all along the project and Biotabs Boom-boom Spray 3-4 times during their lifecycle. Neem against insects and Diatomaceous Earth and Vermiculite as a Silicium source. + Sprouted Seed tea once every two weeks for an enzymatic boost. Looking forward to share my experiences about how to grow organic beauties outdoor. Bom bolenath! UPDATE: 21.05.2021 Wow! In only 24 hours 2 of the seeds (Durban Poison and Durga Mata) have already broken up and the germs are visible. 23.05 The Liberty Haze is a bit late compared to her sisters, but going fine. Today I'll put her into the soil.

I was away for a week. By now all the free plants broke through the soil and started their overground life . I transplanted Durga Mata, because her pot was very small. I planted her directly into her final pot. I added some mychorrhiza to the soil and some humic acid. I'll make the top dressing with the basic nutes later on this week . Liberty Haze came out a few days later, but she looks strong and healthy. DP is going well, even though one of her first leaves is a bit strange.

I pit them into their final pot (50 l) i know this might be too early, but this year I'll have less time to spend with them, so trying to keep it the simplest possible. Top dressing is made of : alfalfa meal (20 g), fish meal (40 g), diatomaceous earth (40 g) guano (50 g) and I added some mychorrizae as well. Meanwhile I prepared some Water Soluble Calcium (eggshells and vinegar) and Lacto Bacillus Serum. I am really curious about the effect of these homemade, organic potions.

I am curious how quickly they are gonna grow this week. It's clear that they start a bit slower due to the transplantation directly to such a huge pot. But once they settled their roots enough I expect them to grow as Durga Mata does. I am excited because they look so different. Surprisingly Liberty Haze is the one with the longest leaves of a sativa. I water them with my own FPJ and some LAB, While I boost the with some nice foliar coctails using Liquid Kelp, WSC and maybe boom-boom spray. Update: 06.17 Today I topped Durga Mata in the morning, and treated the wound with Aloe Vera

Hi guys! Do you have any idea why Durban Poison is growing so slowly? I am suspicious I might have hurt her during the transplantation. She has 3 pairs of leaves and she is healthy green, but her leaves are very small...strange from a sativa. She has the same age as my Durga Mata

Might be a transplant problem but it looks healthy enough. This is from two weeks ago, has it bounced back yet?

After topping DM i also bent her and started the LST. She grows few cm every day. Liberty is one week maybe 10 days "behind", but going very well. DP is still making me worry a bit: she has small leaves and her size in general is very short. What could I do to make her thrive?

I Was away for twelve days so I missed a lot of things. When I got back I was surprised by the change the sisters went through. They are more than 50 cm high and very healthy. I topped LH and DP. I keep on going with the same nutes.

I think this might be the last week of vegetation. The girls are beautiful. DP is developping so nicely. I keep on going with the same diet: watering with LAB (2x), FPJ(1x) and sprouted seed tea (alfalfa and wheat) with a hint of granular humic acid (1x) foliar kelp (1x) and water soluble calcium (1x) I am gonna use neem oil for 2-3 weeks more to make sure no insects will ruin the flowering. Update: On Durga Mata I have seen the first little flowers. 07.12. DP has also some flowers. 07.14 This time I added molasses to the sprouted seed tea

I was on holidays for a week. It’s strange that they are not flowering yet, even though I thought I found some pistils on them 8-9 days ago. They keep on growing nicely, specially DP who is the tallest by now (130-140 cm) . While I was away they got only rainwater and now their need for nitrogen is visible (some yellow leaves). So I made a coctail: fpj, lab and EM. Tomorrow I apply the neem oil.

So flowering has just started…at least on DM and DP I have found several pistils. In the first two weeks I’ll keep the nitrogen rich diet, of course with some P and K. I am very courious… Liberty Haze is still not showing signs of flowering, Durga Mata has a couple of pistils, but doesn’t look so decided. Strange… Only Durban Poison is flowering as expected.

Hei everyone! I am using Guanokalong’s bat guano and palm tree ash as organic PK booster. How do you think it’s better to use them: to mix them with water and molasses and make a liquid food for the plants OR Add them as a top dressing. Flowering has just started.

I was under the impression that bat guano was very high in Nitrogen. Not great for flowering. Palm ash sounds interesting as will give a carbon boost to the plants. Either way will work. A top dressing will release the nutrients slower than making a solution the day before. That would allow the nutrient to infuse the liquid, therefore a faster delivery. Well, thats how it works in my head...I could be wrong. good luck and happy growing

It’s still strange a bit: LH without flowers, DM with just a few ones. So I keep giving some nitrogen rich FPJ to them. Meanwhile I made a Fermented Fruit Juice out of cantaloupe melon, carrots and brown sugar. I’ll try to make water soluble calcium phosphate as well which is said to be advantageous during the transition period (first weeks of flowering).

So the mistery is still going on: DM and LH are not flowering and it’s the 15th August. Is it normal? (update below) Plus there are some (not many of them) leaves turning yellow. 15.08 Water with molasses Today I’ll cut some branches and leaves in order to focus their energy. I sprayed some aloe vera and boomboom to help them to deal with the stress. 16.08 foliar Neem oil and soap diluted in water Update: So I looked up the web for information about outdoor flowering and what I've found is: - beginning of flowering is also strainspecific - they start to flower when hours of daylight are around 15-14 hours. This one is from Plagron's website: "Once the days become shorter than 14 hours around the middle of August, your plants start to change. They detect that summer is reaching its end. Time to create a new generation of plants! In the longer nights, plants start to generate flowering hormones, which signal that it’s time to bloom." My Durban Poison started end of July (exactly when there were 15 hours of daylight), so hopefully the other two will show their flowers soon. These days we have reached 14 hours.

The ladies look better after the possible nitrogen/calmag defficiency. I applied foliar humic acid twice and a foliar SST today 20.08. Finally I mixed around 75 g of palm tree ashes to each rather than mixing it to the water. Hopefully it will raise the pH a bit. As I use rainwater and several fermented fertilizers I guess that the soil is a bit acidic after couple of month of grow. 23.08 In just one and a half day they developped quite a lot: Finally DM and LH have started to flower DP’s blossom are getting visibly fatter and it has a bluish tone But I am not sure what to do with the yellowing leaves. They look like a Mg deficiency. So I sprayed them with humic acid (4% MgO) and I hope they get better soon. 28.08 As the yellowing leaves “syndrome” kept going on, I watered them with a good amount of ph neutral water and then I added a bit of FPJ and a foliar BoomBoom with humic acid. I am worried about DP because she has not many big leaves so I dont want her to loose her solar panels.

27.08 I keep on fighting against the mg deficiency. Yesterday I watered them thoroughly with a bit alkaline water, and in the end I added some FPJ. I expect this to balance the low ph of the rainwater with sugary fermented nutes (LAB,FFJ). Otherwise their flowers are developping nicely. Durban Poison smells quite good and herflowers are a bit bluish. DP 145 cm LH 130 cm DM 110 cm Update 02.09 Bought a ph meter. Today i’ll flush them with a ph 7 water. Update 02.10 I was wrong about the rainwater’s ph. Normally it should be acidic but maybe due to the wooden containers it became alkaline. I flushed LH an DP. They looked more affected by the Mg deficiency. Then watered all the three with FFJ and LAB and sprayed them with Calcium and Epsom salt. I adjusted the water PH to 6.2.

I start to prepare DP for the harvest, so this weeks guano tea is the last for her I think she might be ready in 2-3 weeks. The others started to produce trichomes, specially LH. So they will be ready mid Octobre I guess.

This is the last week of DP. She is nearly ready (milky trichomes) and the next weekend is waning moon, so the perfect time for harvest. I’ve watered her with molasses and water. I am thinking on not watering her anymore and defoliating her just to boost the trichome production with some stress. Autumn has arrived suddenly, both the daytime and the night temperatures have dropped, leaves are getting yellow but the ladies look healthy with a nice production of flowers and trichomes. I think LH and DM have around 3-4 weeks left.

The girls started to dress more colourfully. Trichome production is repectable even on lower sidebuds. I’m very curious. I give them less foliar feeding because Autumn does it for me. Some little worms show up sometimes but they don’t seem to do any significant harm. I take them off manually, no more neem spray this year.

This was a totally organic outdoor grow. I made a mistake probably during the transplantation of the plant, so for a while she was behind her sisters. Then she caught up and started to flower in the end of July. She was easy to grow with long internodal space and big calyx to leaf ratio. The flowers are dark coloured. I come with the updates soon.

Update: I checked the trichomes today. LH has still mostly transparent ones, but Durga Mata is ready for the harvest in a couple of days.

Due to much lower temperatures during drying I am a bit worried about mold. So far it looks good. It was quite a big job to trim this leafy plant. Results coming soon…
