Started to see nutrient deficiency, plants showing bushy growth with very large fan leaves. Plants are on a watering schedule of approximately every two days or when the top two inches of top soil are dried out/

This week saw a lot of action. The plants burned through the nutrients in their soil and started to be deficient. I started a feeding regiment with Nature's Pride VEG fertilizer. It is a dry organic fertilizer, the plants are still in 3 gallon pots at the stage, so they are top fed 3 tablespoons to start and then more as needed. I started with more since they were nutrient deficient I had to replenish the nutrients in the soil so I loaded the top soil with a hefty top dress and let it soak down into the roots. I gradually increased the fertilizer level until all of the leaves started filling out with green again instead of yellowing. I also spotted a magnesium deficiency in the Blueberry plant, to avoid a nutrient lockout I immediately addressed this deficiency with a top dress of bath salts which I then watered in. You can see the results by the end of the week the plants started turning around. On day 5 of week 6 I did the FIM technique to try and get two top colas on both plants. Hopefully this will result in bushier shorter shaped plants as I am worried about outgrowing our space. I cut 3/4 of each plants top leaf bud. This is the Fuck I Missed technique discovered when topping a plant and missing. Over the next week this should result in new dense branching at the top of the plant.

This week I rearranged the tent and put the auto flowering Purple Lemonade and the auto flowering Wedding Cake off to the edge of the tent so that the two veg growth full photo period plants would have room to reach their full potential. We then upgraded their living conditions. I rearranged the tent moving the filter and fan setup outside of the tent to the roof, I did this so that we could utilize all of the space within the tent for growing. I then had room at the top of the tent to raise the light all the way up to the ceiling. With this extra room hopefully the plants will shoot up to the sky. I also used bamboo stakes to support and tie up all of the plants. I did this because after the transplant I didn't want the plants to shift or settle odd and be off center. The new cloth pots are 10 gallons apiece. I used LUSH soil, and top dressed with 10 tablespoons of Pride Land's veg growth on both the Blueberry and the White Widow plants. I also installed an oscillating fan in the grow tent to provide some low stress and hopefully create bushier stronger plants. The light schedule is on 12/12 now and has been since the end of week 6. This is to induce the preflowering of the plants when they are mature enough to do so. We could have continued to push veg growth, but with all the fresh growth that we are seeing right now, it seems that veg growth will continue under the 12/12 until the plant is good and mature. We are not stunting the plants growth by switching to 12/12 but rather giving it some recovery time to process all of the nutrients that we are now feeding it. I don't want the plants to become overwhelmed. They were starting to show negative attributes under the extended 24/0 light schedule, and depleted all of their nutrients. With the softer 12/12 schedule hopefully the growth will be more health and controlled, I don't want the plants to reach the point where they are stressed or deficient and drooping or losing color in their leaves. We want happy healthy plants, they will make for us excellent medicine.

Week 8 Day 1 : Plants are showing positive veg growth and are still developing new growth. Expect the plants to preflower and reach maturity before they begin to flower and fruit up very shortly. My guess would be at the end of this week. The plants are in a 12/12 light cycle so they will go into flower when they reach maturity. Right now I expect the plants to continue nurturing its new growth sites before it begins to focus on developing flowers. So it could be another week or two before they really begin to flower. Only time will tell. I am not opposed to the plants sustaining veg growth for another 2 weeks I just am worried that our tent will reach its capacity and I don't want to burn the plant if it overgrows and encroaches the hot light. If it gets to that point I will look into some techniques to cap the growth. Day 2 Preflower's can be found on both the Blueberry plant and the White widow plant. These preflowers are a sure sign that the plants will be flowering by the end of the week. Week 9 we will be full into flowering. We will keep the 12/12 light regiment until harvest. The only change will be the plants are going to change their nutrient mix. We are switching their food from the Pride Lands VEG fertilizer to the Pride Lands BLOOM fertilizer. The difference being the nutrient mix on the VEG mix is 3 - 3 -3.5 while the BLOOM mix is 6 - 3 - 3.5 . This mix is going to stimulate larger bud growth. The plants were still pretty wet today so we skipped a full water in lieu of a light top water just to push some nutrients into the roots. The plants will be checked tomorrow morning to see if they will need to be watered. These large 10 gal containers seem to stay wet longer than the little 3 gallon containers so we might be watering every 4 days now as opposed to every two days. There is a ton of new branch development at the top of the plants where we did the FIMing. I am fairly positive that our FIM was successful on the white widow plant, it is difficult to see whether the blueberry plant will develop two top colas, but it has some new growth at the top where I did the FIM. On the white widow plant you can clearly see where the two top colas will be. On the blueberry its a little bit messier. There are close up pictures of the results of the FIMing technique on both plants.

Moved the plants from a 4x2 tent to a 5x5 tent. Same lighting. Both plants are into flowering phase. The increased airflow of the room will help the plants and will allow for a larger crop in the future. We started germinating 7 seeds yesterday at the start of the week when we changed tents. Stay tuned for 2 more blueberry and white widow plants along with a Dosi Do, Washing Machine, and Northern Lights plants.

awesome bud production, split feeding both plants at 5 scoops of Pride Land's flower food twice a week. Watering every 2 days. 12/12 light schedule. been a busy busy week will update in depth later. Tent is filling up. I have a nursery set up in the tent at the moment as we just popped all 7 seeds that we germinated the other day. Just started putting the diary together for Grow 002, follow along. The plants received a food and drink and were a little saturated so I am giving them till Thursday to dry out and leech the soil of nutrients before I load them up with another 5 scoops and top water it in. Also got a little pest, mildew, and mold controller that I have been using gently before nighttime on the plants as a preventative step as I saw some aphids on my house plants earlier. I am using a ready to use crop control from Trifecta. I ended up paying the premium for the safe mix but this way I can use it immediately without worrying about burning the plants. In the future I would be interested in diluting and mixing my own crop control spray with iso, vinegar, and essential oils.

The girls are really starting to fruit up, they have been on 10 scoops of flower food per week and this past week we added one scoop of flower finisher to the mix. Their feeding has been split into two days so as not to flood the plants with nutrients and burn the leaves. This means they still get their 10 scoops but in 5 scoop intervals. Watering has been every 2 days because of the 12/12 light schedule the soil doesn't dry out as quickly. The buds are getting massive on the White Widow plant, they are getting to be too heavy for the branches so I have begun to support the lower branches by tying them up to the main stem. I am using a plant wire so that as the plant moves and grows it isn't constricted. You can see the green supports in the newest pictures I uploaded. I also began thinning out the fan leaves so that all of the plants energy can be focused on the bud growth regions. I began removing the larger fan leaves that were blocking light to the bud regions. You can see how the plants are less bushy now. This should provide some low stress to the plants and boost bud production. Continued to thin out the fan leaves today. Made a lot of progress, now all of the bud sites should be receiving light. We also began a new fertilizer. I added a flower finisher into the mix with the Build A Bloom 2-10-5 flower food. Starting with just a 2 scoops mixed into the other flower food from pride lands. Cut down the pride lands scoops to 3 per serving to balance out with the new 2 scoops of flower food. This will keep me at 1 scoop per gallon of media per plant per week.

This was a beautiful week. Massive THC production my trichromes are covering the white widow plant in crystals. Its an icy plant with its sunscreen on. Looking absolutely gorgeous. I finished defoliation. Removed most all of the fan leaves so the plants can focus on bud production and amp up those clusters. The blueberry plant is starting to fruit up as well. It will end up going an extra week so its production is right on point. The white widow plant is just some crazy good genetics. Of my 7 new nursery plants the two white widows that I have are head and shoulders above the rest of the plants. I am excited to see what the 12/12 from seed does for them with our new super soil setup. The plants have received their full doses of flower food and flower finisher. They are going to ride out the week on just water because they started to burn with the influx of the flower finisher. It seems to absorb more potently than the regular flower food does. I will does the plants some of the flower finisher food about halfway through the next week so as not to burn the plants. After that we will flush the soil with just water for the remainder of the grow so as not to have any extra nutrients flooding the plant before harvest.

Plants thc production is amazing they just keep pumping out trichromes. The buds should really start to resin up this week as we approach harvest. I am just waiting for the plants to change the color of their leaves to indicate that they are ready for harvest.
