Emilia the Banana Blaze

Emilia - one who excels, named in memory of my first dog :) Emilia had a bit of a slow start. She went into her glass of water on May 13th and 5 days later on May 18th still had not even cracked. I was pretty worried she might not make it at all or if she was alive might drown if she stayed in her glass much longer. So I tried my hand at the paper towel method for the first time. And lo and behold 24 hours later there was a taproot showing! So I put her into a rapid rooter and then, as usual, straight into the final 5-gallon pot. Two days later she poked her head out - hat off and everything. Welcome to the family, Emilia!
