Hey guys we've got a new grow going and I'm really excited about this one. We'll be growing this wedding cake outdoor in promix feeding synthetic nutrients with GH Trio all summer long. Im not going to use any additives aside from microbes. To make it even more interesting im going to be competing with a friend who will be growing his wedding cake clone fully organically and were going to put it all on YouTube week by week until we can finally judge the final product. Join me on YouTube for science lol

Hey guys! Girls are in the second home before the blue bins, added some microbes to the root zone for transplant and I've fed them once. Other than that we've had plenty of rain to keep things wet and today was like 3 Celsius so they spend the day in the garage, so far so good. HOWEVER the competition has not been so lucky, we had a day of hard gusting winds and his wedding cake folded over, he's in rescue mode but the organic grower is already laying flat on the mat being counted out by the ref. Is it too early to call victory for Synthetics??? Stay tuned
What can I say synthetic fans, we're absolutely smashing it. Our wedding cake plants are thriving, incredibly happy girls. They responded to the LST beautifully and looking like some roided up WWE wrestlers looking to lay the smack down on Organics. On that note I'm happy so say our organic competitor has recovered and is back in the race confident as ever, personally I think he's trying to pull the underdog story but while he was propping his lady up with sticks and such my girls have been beefing up big time. It's a long steep road for our organic friend but there's still plenty of veg time to even things out. Happy growing!

Hey guys! What can I say about this week other than.... #@$^%%$^$% in the fat #@$@#$%$% grandmas $%^##$%#%...... anyway it looks like our organic competition has wished upon a shooting star and received an early June miracle. My wedding cake are starting to preflower about 7 weeks early. I'm going to go ahead and assume the person I got the clone from had them under 20/4 light schedule and when I brought them outdoors the flower mode sleeping inside them was woken up like when my teacher used to slam a text book on my desk in math class. Potential disaster but I have not given up hope for a reveg. In an attempt to revert them back to vegetative growth I decided to play god and I set my 6000k LED work lights on a timer to give me an extra hour in the morning and at night. I have no idea what science has to say about this mostly because I slept through that class too but in theory it could help. If not it gave me a chance to bust out those lights for the first time since covid hit. Best case scenario they start reveggin in 1-3 weeks, worst case we roll with it and flower these bitches out indoors which would be devastating to our little experiment here.
So with my organic comrade's wish coming true there's a real possibility that I get dusted here during this stalled period. I'm incredibly resentful.
Follow the sounds of me cursing under my breath and you'll arrive at my youtube channel where I cover this and other grows and you can visibly see how salty I am about this!

Happy growin' guys!
So in week four, mister organic has placed a black magic voodoo curse on my synthetic wedding cakes. First I start flowering in mid June near the peak of daylight hours. Now through some evil forces I've been plagued by leaf hoppers which I was not prepared for. As long as I'd lay in wait camouflaged in the bushes waiting to deport the little shits they have eluded my defenses. So off with the camo and on with the body armor, we're going to war boys. In my right holsters I withdraw my insecticidal soap and blast the ladies like the last scene in Rambo. It's highly ineffective, but I was not deterred, we need bigger weapons to exorcise these demons. So in a highly aggressive manor I reach into my left holster... containing my cellphone, open the amazon app and purchased diatomaceous earth and neem oil. Round 2 next week boys. In the mean time we got them into the blue bins and switched over to promix BX in hopes that they will reveg, otherwise it was kinda pointless. We've got some new products coming in this week that will hopefully bump them in the right directions.
On the other side of the coin, Mr Organic Graham has been a little busy so I've not got much of an update but i did manage to snag some pics from him that will hopefully have the team organic growers fist bumping.

aaand we're back! Mr organic is trucking along doing his organic thing with Gaia green compost teas and worm castings and the plants health looks pretty solid I'm not gonna lie. Here's the rub though, us on team synthetic have been stalled out for just over 3 weeks and we're still the larger specimens however the leaf hoppers aka "little fucks" are still munching this shit outta my plants, even with the insecticidal soap, even with the DE bath, they do not give an F. With no new growth to replace their meals the plant is starting to look a little more haggard but on the bright side our neem oil came today so I'll be going back in for another round. As another ray of sunshine these girls have officially reveged and after a long ass stall out we're back in the ring, I wish I could have those 3 weeks back but somehow we haven't fallen behind and now we're pumping in the rapid start which will definitely help them in the blue blue bins and get us back on track. Gotta keep on fighting the good fight we're gonna get this done!

Hey again fellas, this week us on the synthetic side of thing continued our crusade against nature and organics fighting off the leaf hoppers and through the magic of LED work lights were able to play god and reveg our 2 confused gals. The pistils and calayxes that formed appear to be dieing off and I've been blessed with some ridiculous 1, 2 & 3 fingered leaves popping up all over but I shan't complain. we're vegging out again and though awkward is wonderful to see. Hit them with a neem oil mix and it seems to have warded of the evil demons and black magic infesting my garden.
On the organic side of things Mr. Organic has been gone fishin' for the last week but is now back and getting his gals ready for transplant. Though certainly smaller they're healthy and definitely playing the role of tortoise in this race..... slowww and steady. He's having some problems with caterpillars since I sacrificed that white rabbit to the gods below for help. Go gettem wormy boys, a caterpillars belly is never full! Across the board though it's pretty even steven but I will admit his organic girls look somewhat more natural than my revegged monstrosities!

So our organic friend has bowed out at this point. He's been busy but I figured I would share how far we've come. Deep into flower now, got some king sized coalas coming in. The smell is insane at this point, the neighbour's aren't particularly pleased which mean it's going very well. Very sticky trichome coated buds. Very pleased with this strain so far. She'll also finish out about 4 weeks ahead of my gorilla girl, she wanted to give me buds early so I stopped resisting, I think it was the right choice.
This week buds har hardening up, we're about 2 weeks out so they had their final feed this week before the flush. Switched from liquid to dry koolbloom and gave them one last potassium blast before the leech. Had lots of rain this week, caught some bud rot forming on my biggest cola, had to cut out a portion on the nut and it saddened me deeply. After rain fall I've been hitting them with the leaf blower to dry them off
Well we didn't get to finish our little grow down experiment but at the end of the day we were blessed with some grade A buds. It was a little weird in the beginning with the early flowering but it all worked out perfectly.
