Day 29: Even though there are plenty signs of pre-flower I’m sticking with the Grow nutrients for another few days. Plant is looking happy and healthy in its new grow space. I have the lamp height at 60cm since it went in yesterday and there are no tacoing 🌮 leaves or any sign of heat stress so I’m gonna lower to 50cm and monitor closely. Watered today with nutrients (1ml SR, 4ml G, 1ml CM)
Day 30: Looking good. Chopped off another two big lower leaves. Put one more bend into the main stem.
Day 31: Not going at any branches or leaves today. I’m gonna give it a few days to settle into itself. The plant looks like it’s enjoying its new grow space, the future bud sites are now nearly all bending up towards the light.
Day 32: Watered today with just a very low dose of nutrients (1ml SR, 2m G). Clipped off one big fan lest near the top of the plant because it was blocking light to a few future bud sites.
Day 34: Started on a small dose of bloom nutrients (2ml B, 1ml SR). Took full 2ltrs again. Loosened up a few ties to even canopy. Clipped off the last of the original big fan leaves attached to the main stem.
Day 35: Five weeks old today and everything is looking awesome. This plant is really motoring along nicely. I loosened/adjusted a few ties to even the canopy. Plant on the right in latest photos is also a Sweet Gelato, it’s a week younger. I’m not running a diary on this plant. I’m following the same feed and defoliation schedule as the plant in the diary. The only difference with this plant is that it was germinated and vegged under the Spider-farm SF100O, unlike the plant in this diary which was germinated and vegged for first four weeks under a 200watt CFL. I want to see if there is a difference in the final yield. It definitely way easier to do LST with the plant vegged under CFL and looks like there will be more bud sites because of this. The plant vegged under the LED has shorter thicker branches and not as many branches as the other plant and they are more difficult to pull into place.
Can someone please tell me what these yellow spots are. They are not uniformed circles. Found them on two leaves. I removed both of them. First two pics are taken under a scope.
Most likely from leaves getting wet. When the leaf has water on it the light gets magnified on that spot causing it to burn. Similarly to using a magnifying glass when you use the sun to burn ants when you was a kid.
@Protector, cheers. Music is the theme for the movie ‘True Romance’. If you haven’t seen it check it out. Goggle the cast of the movie, this speaks for itself.
