Day 50: Week 8 up and running. I took measurements all around with a Lux meter. The reading at the tallest bud site was nearly 90,000lux and every other bud was 55,000 to 65,000lux. I turned the whole pot anti-clockwise by around 90 degrees, or from 12 o clock to 9 o clock moving the tallest bud out of the direct light. This allowed me to move the plant 5cm closer to the light. Now all bud sites including the tallest one are reading between 65,000 and 75,000 lux. This is ideal. The target range for flowering with full spectrum LEDs is 55,000 to 85,000.
Day 51: I removed the light I put low down as I don’t think it was any benefit. I also removed the second smaller plant. It was taking up too much space and light and looked like it wasn’t going to produce very much. I’ll stick it outdoors and see how it gets on. Watered with nutrients (1ml SR, 1ml GS, 5ml B). Took 3ltrs of water, run off ph @6.9.
Day 52: Plant looks much happier with the extra space.
Day 53: Watered with nutrients (1ml SR, 1ml GS, 4ml B). Took 3ltrs. Plant is looking super healthy.
Day 55: Watered with nutrients (1ml SR, 1ml GS, 4ml B). Took 3ltrs. Starting to look nice and frosty.
Day 56: Eight weeks old today and I’m really happy with how it’s looking. Buds are really starting to take shape this week. I moved the light a little further away, now at 50cms. I measured the lux next to all buds and they are all getting between 65,000 and 75,000 so they are perfectly in range. I have some very small yellow tips on the leaves. I’m pretty sure it’s not the lights so I may have been a bit heavy on the nutrients. The yellow tips are tiny so I’m not worried but I’ll water with just PH’d water tomorrow night and give a good flush and then come back with a Lower dose of nutrients.
Can someone please tell me what these yellow spots are. They are not uniformed circles. Found them on two leaves. I removed both of them. First two pics are taken under a scope.
Most likely from leaves getting wet. When the leaf has water on it the light gets magnified on that spot causing it to burn. Similarly to using a magnifying glass when you use the sun to burn ants when you was a kid.
@Protector, cheers. Music is the theme for the movie ‘True Romance’. If you haven’t seen it check it out. Goggle the cast of the movie, this speaks for itself.
