This is my 2nd diary, my 1st included 4 strains so I thought I would focus on a single strain for this. I am currently in a dilemma where I have 11 plants in a 4 x 4 tent and am waiting on gender test results. I have a 2nd tent and light coming for Vegetation only but for now would like to focus on this Pineapple Express Auto Flower. I'm using Purple Cow Indicanja growers soil with a mix of coco coir and worm castings.

This seedling was ready to transplant after 9 days in a solo cup and began to flourish. I have had a water issue with other plants due to well water. I am now trying to experiment between purified water and spring water.

Usually an auto takes me between 80 and 100 days. With yours hitting flower so early you will probably finish nearer 80 days. Wait for at least 80% brown hairs before you do a 2 week flush.

This grow is over, somehow the auto got pollinated, it either went "Lady Gaga" on me or the male "Stoopid Fruits I found 4 weeks ago released some pollen before I removed it. . I have hundres of mature seeds I will see what they reveal at a later time. I am now worried about my 12-12 see plants that were in the same tent. Pollen only hangs around for 2 weeks tops and the PE was poliatted a month ago to have fully mature seeds.

This Pineapple Express Auto developed seed pods so I moved it out of grow room not knowing it most likely could have stayed, the damage was done. I got anxious and removed it and a friend said his mom had a green house and a grow light at least 12 hours a day. When I got it back... go to next week and see.

Greetings All.... This plant came back to me with 1/3rd of the buds snipped and like it was not getting much light at all. I had just bought a cheap Briignite BRQ 600W Grow Light for $32 to make something quick. I used a 20" x 20" Wardrobe Box upside down as shown above (same box I will use for drying but turned right side up) I don't know if I should cut her down now or if I should try for some amber trichomes. It's not dead, the new growth at the bottom was not there a week ago when he returned the plant. I would really like some advice on what I should do with her. I have a couple of her seeds which sprouted after 4 days in Germ. The 1st is very spindly but lights are 12" and set at 50%, maybe set to high but it light so why is it searching. Seriously if anyone can help me with what I should do with her, I would be forever grateful, I told the "friend" all I cared about that he took was the seeds, he did not "get it". Thanks in advance for anything 😬

Just cut and hang. She is not going to do anything much any more, just get more and more confused. Depriving a plant of light right before harvest to supposedly stimulate extra resins is plain BS, all the extended darkness does is slow the plants metabolism to almost zero, and a near zero metabolic rate will just lead to cannabinoid degradation, not enhancement. A plant with a barely functioning metabolism can not support trichomes at their peak health, thereby leading to a rapid breakdown of the cannabinoids. There is very little actual factual, scientific research to support the idea of light deprivation actually being a beneficial technique for all cannabis plants at all times and in all situations. It is largely an urban myth, dreamt up by someone too high to think clearly and with a complete lack of real knowledge about how a plant functions. Unfortunately this myth has somehow survived for whatever reason, probably spread by more people who do not understand the basic principles of plant biology and should be clearly debunked and the sooner the better. As a comparison, it would be the equivalent of asking a human to stop eating for two days and then run a marathon, the theory being that all that energy that was saved by not eating would somehow be magically available when running the marathon as though it was coming from some sort of magical human energy battery. Obviously this can not occur, the same as expecting a plant with an almost dead metabolism, induced by 2 days of darkness, being able to somehow perform a miracle trick of producing super resin quantities out of thin air, by a plant that can not undertake photosynthesis and this photosynthesis being the plants' only way of powering any of its functions. After experimenting with when to harvest a plant over the last 35+ years, I have concluded that the best time is about an hour or two after the sun comes up or the lights come on. This seems to produce flowers with the highest levels of terpenes and the tastiest resins. Harvesting when there are about 90-95% brown pistils seems to produce flowers with the highest amounts of THC. Hope this helps, Organoman.

@That70sDude, you can tie your branches down, example,,drill holes in rim of pots and use to tie down,,use a net,,elastic retail ones,,make one yourself with a frame of pvc water pipe or whatever works for you..many ways to train without special so called cannabis growing specialties..

@spyder, Thanks friend... I'm currently doing 2 diary's "That 70's Grow" has outgrown its space but I am learning. I need to find where to order the LST training branch separators if you know I would be grateful. I have 11 plants, only expecting to keep 5 or 6 but I can't find a male in the bunch and "Delta Leaf Labs has had my samples for 5 weeks.

I had health issues and unable to keep up with my diary, this Pineapple Express Auto started flowering in less than 4 weeks and I am now wondering how long it has left. I am just watering as usual 3 lts every 3 days. Going to use larger pot on next auto flowers. I was told 3 gal was the best but I am going to try a 5 gal on one.
