Once more growing in Dr Greenthumbs Turbodirt Water Only Soil and successfully germinating directly in substrate, although I dropped the seed overnight in a glass of tap water just in case.

Very beginning of vegetative state after some quick stretch. She is going into the tent today to avoid going any more taller before growing the first pair of real leaves.

She is looking good even she is falling with the weight of the new leaves. I just topped up substrate and it gave a bit more support. Just feeding the Roids as recommended.

She is growing steady but seems to be slow. Maybe the cold or genetics playing their part here. Important she seems healthy and happy so do I.

Growing steady and easy. The smell is grassy and starting to get stronger. Just feeding with the root Roids once a week but I'm planning on getting the fruit Roids once she starts flowering. I'm getting some pretty decent gnat issue. The yellow stickers are not enough anymore. I'll get a organic spray next week.

Huge leaves for such small plant. 5 weeks and no signal of flowering. Another late bloomer? Let's find out soon enough. Started feeding Fruit Roids as she may enter on flowering stage in a week or so. Wanna some big sticky fruits 😜

She is not getting into flower stage... It's not a auto or it's just a bad seed. I've switched the light schedule to 12-12 to see if it forces it to flower but I'm not that hopeful. My partner insists that I should give it more time so there she is going into her 7 weeks and no signs of flower (nor polen sacks). I'll give it two weeks under 12-12. If nothing changes, finito to that one.

So she finally started to flower... Yep. It's not a auto after all. She is a photo meant to have a fast flowering stage I suppose but without any info about this strain it's just a long guess. At least I had the patience to try the change of lights.

The last defoliation seems to have shocked this little fella and I won't do it anymore as it's affecting her bloom. She is a really small plant but seems to being growing enough flowers. Hope she grows more but since I wasn't even expecting her to bloom at all I think anything that comes out from her will be a winner. 🙌

The plant finally recovered after a week stunned by the fan leaves trimming I done weeks ago. The plant didn't grow much but at least is growing consistently. I've noticed that two flowers around the mid of the plant are with dried out tips. Not the good brownish that we're looking for but some real dry shit that looks like died out killing all the beautful tricomas. I just searched for this syntom and just light burnt (which is mostly improbable as I've been using CFL so far) or budworm and shit like that came out as result. I'll look for them but honestly I don't think that's the issue here. Btw I just got my setup upgraded with a Mars TSL 2000. I can say that: Maaaan... She's strong! Let's harvest the goods!

When pistols are new they are white, but as the age they begin to darken and the calyx around them swells. It’s completely normal, and come harvest time- most of them will be this color. I wouldn’t read to hard into it. That being said- if it were the actual bud structure, and not just the pistols Id be a bit more concerned. According to your diary your lights are 6 inches above? Keep your eye out for any bud bleaching or fox tailing. Raid the light up a few inches if you are noticing an more issues 🌱

I let her dry out for a week expecting that she'd be ripe by now but she's reeealy slow. Around only 10% of the trichomes are brown yet. At least she is still growing a lot of new pistils every day since I got the new light. She may push one more week so I'm feeding her today and check again in a couple of days. Can't wait harvesting!

That's a strain that I'm not growing again. She was my first photoperiodic strain (which I totally treated as auto for weeks) and it just felt like I'm not really into photos... She was pretty resilient and came out reasonably good even though all the mistreatment I gave her for a while. The final weight is not impressive too. I got a bit more than an ounce but it's a very strong strain that keeps you on for a while longer than usual.
