This week gelato show me how vigorous she Is, i topped at the fifth node and i defoliated, then after 3 days of recovery i defoliated again. I water her every 4 days. My light Is still dimmed at 25%.
The lady grow like a champ, i will defoliate again next week cause the 4th/7th of july i will flip her. A few days before flipping i will transplant into 11 liter fabric pot by rqs.
The gelato Is beatiful, i defoliated her again to let her explode in growth. I will vegetate her for another two weeks, then She Will Be ready for flower.
I transplant the gelato in the 11 liter fabric pot from a 5 liter pot and in my soil i mixed 50 grams of Easy boost organic nutrition then when we will reach mid flower i will use the combo flower tablet. The plant Is doing well, maybe a bit stressed by underwatering and rootbound, but she's ok. Very very strong strain i could kick her and She would resist and grow stronger.
The gelato Is the strongest in the garden, She handled the transplant very well. I put her for flower under the lumatek attis 300W. I defoliated a bit to let the canopy spread, awesome structure. By now i use only water with adjusted pH because i put the organic pellet from RQS in the soil of the new fabric pot.
She is a bit droopy due to underwatering cause i went on holiday and my drip system didn't work properly, but she's not so thirsty, Indeed she's a beast with great flower development.
I give her only pH water as She has already the nutrient in the soil and she's thriving. The buds are really starting to fatten up. The flower stretch Is over.
Gelato is definitely a solid strain, u can't complain at all, the buds are really starting to fattening and they are really frosty..i can't wait i wanna taste them, but i have to be patient cause there are 4 weeks left and in 1 week i will feed her with the flower booster from RQS.
The gelato is obviusly a strain that develop large fat colas instead of long colas, she's very resinous. The smell Is pumping out and Is like a breeze that refresh my lungs every time i open the box. She doesnt need too much water. 3 weeks to go.
This week i started to fertilize with the combo tablet Bloom booster with 1g per liter. The plant is really healthy and i have no complaint and the smell Is absurd.
The lady Is a bit underwatered, but she's good especially the buds. I set the light 10on 14off. 2 weeks and a half to go. 1 week from now i will set the light 8on 16off.
Last week i had an important exam at university so i couldnt water the lady and she's heavy underwatered , but Is flush time cause next week Is last week and then yes finally harvest time. The buds are really dense and resinous , sincerely i did not expect that from RQS. The smell Is sweet and pungent, but not so dank like other really odourful strain.
The green gelato Is a great strain.
She Is really resistant and strong,
She can literally grow in every way,
The buds will mature in 8 weeks with enough resin to make a lot of hash.
Great structure overall.
The smell Is very pungent, diesel-like and berry-like.
Let It veg her for at least 2 month u wont regret it.
At the end of the day i will reccomend this strain to beginners.
Now i am in the dry phase, they will be hung up for at least 10 14 days or more if needed and then directly into the jars.
