D64, Sun: Here we are, end of week nine. Aurelia, that amazing lady, is almost ready. Pistil production has almost come to a halt and trichomes are everywhere! While the buds do not fatten up at the same rate as in the last few weeks she's growing trichomes like crazy. They're not milky through and through though, so I have to remain patient just a little longer. Which is getting harder by the day as she's giving off that sweet, citrus-like scent that reminds me about Marisol - no wonder, she was a Think Big after all.
I had to defoliate her, quite heavily, since her fan leaves started to fade and it became evident that spider mites had set up camp. But I wasn't having any of that so those suckers had to walk the plank. With the nice side effect being of Aurelia's buds getting more sunlight and airflow.
During the day she's under a tree, next to her neighbors, that will provide shade around noon. During the night she's under a roof, where she's out of reach of morning dew. Still, the air is very humid at night, but the fan seems to do good work as so far I haven't seen any signs of budrot.
Depending on the weather, that is said to be deteriorating over the next days, I have to decide when to bring her in, but it wont be too long from now. I keep on comparing her to last year's Marisol (Think Big), to have a clue of her ripeness. Still I'd like to let her keep on going a little longer. Although I keep thinking that in terms of smell, taste and effects Aurelia might be similar to Marisol I am eager to have the pleasure of finding out whether or not that is the case π
@@TenderBuds, she's going through the roof π She's got two side colas in the size of Marisol's main cola.. So I'm very enthusiastic, as one can imagine π€€
