trying again with new seeds this is my second grow and my second try at blue dream, i had a little trouble with the gold leaf in the first 4 weeks of my first grow, ive read so many methods ive just was trying everything I'm only 4 months EXP in growing,
happy to receive any and all comments questions. short one today but i wanted to show the pump for the molasses i was sick of always getting it everywhere with measuring spoons so now i just pump into dosing cups.
was busy with my back pain and the harvest of the gold leaf so im a little behind on the update sry, had 2 weeks of getting the new tent with the viparspectra regulated, had to get the heat down and the lighting right on the new tent.
slow growth this past 2 weeks because of the teething issues the little one is getting back slowly and its still healthy with a strong stem.
have 2 more clones of the gold leaft to move into the tent from the propagator tomorrow wanted one more day for the roots to grow a little larger.
nothing else to report except ill be starting 5 banana kush seeds in the next few weeks for another diary so stay tuned
transplanted the blue dreams that were ready into solo cups and they have been doing well growing since, the runt that had the most heat stress is still going might throw another blue dream seed in the ground to see if i can get 4 into flower but not a big deal i can put a gold leaf clone in if i have too. the blue dreams have been transplanted into happy frog.
all of the clones have been transplanted into solo cups and a 2 gallon for the older one in back no transplant shock and they all did well with a little WP mychos in the clones ocean forest soil.
not sure when i want to put the gold leaf clones into flower yet when i do ill start another diary for that
6 days after the previous week, big difference i had a suggestion to lower the ph a bit from 6.5 to 6.2 Thanks Jeff78.
it also reminded me to calibrate my ph meter the ph i thought was 6.5 was closer to 6.7 i recalibrated
the meter could explain some of the slow growth, ill set a reminder in the future to recalibrate every month.
dropped the tiny blue dream in the closet with less intense light see if it recovers a little better.
foliar spraying the mother plant and the large clone for the gold leaf looked like they were having some deficiency's and crispy tips the mother plant seems to grow as it dies so this is normal when i put it in a good light it still wants to grow taller, i recommend this strain for beginners it has a mind of its own. i will be moving the gold leaf clones into the closet next week after a transplant and will be starting that diary.
also cleaning out the other grow tent for a bannana kush run should be starting germination this week so stay tuned.
Transplanted from the solocups to the 2 gallon grow pots was a little late on it first time ive used mykos from the start of veg and MAN they rooted alot faster than i expected.
i will be moving the gold leaf into a seperate diary to avoid confusion in the future
vegging along need to defoil and train here, just topped a few days ago.
kept the baby blue dream going so happy it came back with a month of rest and a new container.
other than the baby coming back to life nothing much to report soil is still doing the nutrient work here only seeing a small deficiency in a single plant.
just water for now showing some good flowering so far stretch seems to have ended as well, one more week or so until i start with nutes should be some exciting flowering in the next few weeks.
@Jeff78, yea the right are from seed the left are the clones they had some real strong roots going into the solo cups, ill check the roots last few days they have been looking the same even with the last watering.
i kept changing my plans as to what to do with those clones im upgrading the light in the 2nd tent for the banana kush coming up so that freed up a light to flower those 3 clones and the big one, 2 more weeks of veg if they take the transplant well
Too much water bro let it dry out completely 💯🙏 hope this helps leaves look heavy full of water 💧 they like extreem dry n wet let them dry out till the pots light then give a good water/feed... I feed water water feed. Etc
@Jeff78, the pictures arent the best illustration of watering i had been taking the pictures right after i did, ill bust out the moisture meter and give the larger pots a check. this is the 2nd grow so im still getting used to the weight thing.
thanks for the advice.
