Going good. Haven’t started watering everyday yet but might be soon. So far I’ve been feeding with every watering and watering every other day. Next week I will up the nutrients a bit. I like to water outside so it can get some nice natural light. It seems to like it, hopefully that isn’t a bad idea to do in regards to pests. I just make sure to thoroughly look under and around leafs before bringing back inside tent. Ended second week with feeding at 460 ppm

I’m filling this out was the week goes on. I started the 3rd week with a feed of 480 ppm and day three this week I decided to do a flush with just ph’d spring water in hopes to not have a salt build up in the medium. Also on day three this week I started lst with some grommets that I put into the side of my planter. Will go back to feeding again on day 4 or day 5 depending on if the medium dries out or not. Update 1: This plant responded very well to the lst from yesterday. This morning it was already reaching strait up to the light so I placed another grommet in the planter and am hoping to go through a circular motion to keep the plant low since there isn’t much room for height in my tent. I’ll post pictures of before and after second training.

Should I defoliate some of my larger fan leaves on this autoflower? If so, at what point during growth should I do that? This is my first grow so another question is if it’s even worth me defoliating.

No, I would not remove anything at this point. Auto's are on a fixed schedule so you want the plant to have as many solar collectors to build strength and energy for flowering. After flowering begins then you can look at it again and start training, tucking and then removing leaves if it's really necessary.

Keeping the nutrients the same this week. I’ve been low stress training this plant almost daily and it seems to be taking it very well. I switched fans in the tent for about 36 hours and realized it was a little too strong. Some of the leaves were starting to droop a little bit, but since changing out the fan it has recovered quite nicely. I will keep updating as week goes on. I’m starting to take this plant outside a little more often in the mornings for an hour just so it gets some space and sunlight. The tent is getting a little cramped because I’m growing one other plant in there as well. Next time I’ll definitely only grow one at a time just because the space as well as the size of my light. Possibly some taller planters might help with space.

Stopped low stress training this week because of little space in tent to grow out as well as I didn’t want to stress it out too much as it’s going in to flower. Changed the nutrient a bit and added more bloom nutrients. Looking good still.

Still stretching, but the flowers are starting to grow more as well. It’s starting to smell pretty good as well so I went ahead and installed the carbon filter in the tent. I’m also taking it outside a lot more in the mornings or a little before sunset to get some fresh air and nice sunlight. I kept the nutrients the same this week as last, but next week I’ll change to a little less grow. Hopefully this one continues to stay healthy. I’m a little worried about the grow space in my tent because it’s basically wall to wall with another plant in there. We’ll see!

Besides the risk of pests, is there any downfall to taking my autoflower outside sometimes to get more space and fresh air? The light I’m using is pretty small so I don’t think my plant is getting hit throughout the entirety of it. I’ve been taking it outside every other day

If your plant is "hardened" to real sunlight then you could take it outside to get more intense light. Keep in mind that the plant does best with consistent 16-18 hours of light per day. Doing it now and then might do more harm than good and I certainly would not leave it out over night which would mean it's getting a much shorter light period. I personally would not risk pests and disease by going outside. Either grow inside or outside. I would spend the money and get a better light and keep your plant inside where you can control the environment for maximum yield.

Seems like the stretch is over and now it’s starting to focus on its flowers. I’m still taking outside to feed and letting it stay out for 30min to an hour depending on weather. Still going strong and starting to smell more. Excited to see how next week goes.

Kept the same feeding nutrients this week with one flush (which I’ve been doing every week). The flowers are really starting to bulk up and are smelling very nice.

Didn’t flush this week since it was the last cycle of feeding before I start to only add ph’d water. It’s doing good, I stopped taking it outside but I feel it has started to lack in light due to my small light in my tent. I’ll start taking it back outside to feed and let it get a little natural light again to hopefully get those buds to their max potential. Cheers

Was hoping the trichomes would start turning cloudy, but they all still seem pretty clear. Not sure if it’s because of being a haze or if they’re still taking time to mature. Was going to have this be last week of nutes, but decided to continue the nutes for next week as well.

@GODSGIFT_2005_JM, I do too, but unfortunately here the suns is a little too unforgiving. Around this time of year it’s about 110f so I’m getting them out early in the mornings and late just before sunset because they definitely love the sunlight. The rest of the time I have it indoors in the tent. Thanks for checking me out! I’ll swing by and look at that GG4!

I’ma keep an eye on this one and see how it turns out. I don’t really run autos but I’m looking for some auto strains to run together and lemon haze sounds dope lol good luck with your grow, hopefully you get a bunch of dank ass buds!
Rad2thebone
Rad2thebonecommented4 years ago
@Rayshian, thank you! So far it’s been a fairly easy grow. It’s definitely work getting coco washed and buffered, but it was worth it, it seems. And if for some reason this grow goes bad I wouldn’t blame the breeder. This is my first grow so I’m sure some mistakes will be made. I just hope I can learn from them.
