Late start to diary. 1 week since planting germinated seed. No issues besides an invasion of fungus gnats. Will treat soil with mosquito bits and lay cut glue trap on soil top for rest of them.

Week 2 completed 🙏 (i slacked on pictures this week my bad growmies) Simple week of letting her do her thing and letting her be. I did have to do a unplanned transplant from the plastic 1gal to a fabric 3gal. The soil wasn't drying out and was causing her to wilt alittle. Careful transplant from 1gal to 3gal, Little root damage on the bottom due to sticking to the plastic. Soil was saturated and compacted but still managed to hurt her. Will see if she has any major issues in the next day or 2. Week 2 of mosquito bits watering and have yellow gnat traps now. Seems to be under control for now.

the end of week 3 is here finally and she is still alive. This week i had some issues with my grow tent temp/RH when the temps reached 90F outside. No central air only wall a/c so the temps got hot in here and tent temps peaked 92F while humidity was bouncing between 42%-78%. After purchasing a window a/c to help tent and surrounding area i achieved a stable 73-75F/50-55% RH with humidifier 43-45% RH without humidifier.. I took my 4" duct tube i still had left, ziptied one end to the vent and ran the duct into the tent and down the back pole so air reached the bottom. (i have no duct vent on bottom only mesh screens.) I hope this works for when i get the heat wave july 1st. besides the above part was a easy week. She is most likely stunted from everything she has gone through but is still moving along. On day 15 i topped her and snipped off 1 top fan leaf as she is so small i wanted light to reach the bottom nodes atleast. Day 16 i started lst of the main cola to get the other nodes light [ i was going to leave her alone but the progress the bottom nodes were making did not please me enough]. day 17 i switched to the lst method of yarn [[ my trusted method]] instead of soft ties---- ((first time using soft ties and tried the in soil lst i see people use but when i did it the tie wasn't firm in soil))---- . day 20 i did lst on the entire plant hoping for the best. lastly day 21 adjusted lst on some plants and top dressed soil with a total: 2tbs espoma bulb tone and 2.5 tbs espoma bio-starter for the 3G pot ---- low tbs top dressing this feeding due to the soil i used during transplant was left over mix soil with espoma dry amends so she had a light feeding week 2 and a good feeding week 3.

The end of week 4 update. -- i guess i forgot to take pics on day 26-- Easy week with her had no issues and adjusted her lst when needed. - heat wave made me leave the tent open for the 3 days which kept the temps/rh good but allowed bugs to come in. I had a yellow stick trap flower already but i hung up a nice size square to catch the rest. Unfortunately as you can see in the pictures i seem to still have a mother fucker somewhere in the tent eating the leaves which i can't find. if i notice marks on the new flowering leaves im gonna tear the bitch down and find it. - i do light defoliation of fan leaves blocking light or not getting enough light about once or twice so i don't stress her to much since she has been through alot. She will get a good snipping tonight to start week 5 with a fresh cut - last 3 pics is about an hour after watering so she doesn't look the prettiest.

End of week 5 update is here. Once again i was blessed with a beautifully easy week. - day 30 i snipped a few leaves off - day 34 she was fed 5 tbs espoma bulb tone and 1 tbs espoma bio-tone. Not a single issue with the plant but i did have a mini war with some spider mites which seems to continue. - i purchased some captain jack's deadbug spray with spinosad which worked pretty well at first but i still keep finding them on my growbag. Hardly any on the leaves so, i will go out and either buy the concentrated bottle or their earth dust to kill them via the roots.

end of week 6 update is here. Plant is doing great and frosting up nicely. She is also getting some nice purples inside her buds. She doesn't smell at all unless you bend a stem and smell the inside buds but either way she looks great. on day 38 she got a hair cut at night and is doing well. Scared to mess with her since i already stunted it. This week i was going crazy with these mites i have on my grow bags. When my electronic magnify pen came in i went over to reddit and turns out they are stratiolaelaps scimitus, which explains why they never died when i sprayed them with captain jacks deadbug. cheers to not having mites.

Does anyone dehydrate their plants during flowering? if so does it actually make a difference with trichomes, i've seen people say it doesnt really help then some swear by it. thank you, cheers.

Any stress you subject the plants too is going to harm their health. Harm the plants health and then causes trichome degradation, not enhancement. It would be like hitting yourself in the head with a sledgehammer right before doing an exam, believing the extra blood and hurt will make you think better! Why anyone would purposely stress their plants after 3-4 months of careful growing and right before harvest is beyond me! Healthy plant = healthy cannabinoids. It can be no other way. This is another urban myth, perpetuated by people who don't understand basic plant biology. Just like giving molasses, which does nothing directly for your plant and is another ridiculous urban myth. Just like extended darkness, another urban myth that just stresses your plant and leads to trichome degradation due to an almost comatosed metabolism, and does not, can not, in any way improve trichome quality. Hope this helps, Organoman.

end of week 7 is here. busy week for me so not much to update picture and grow wise. also trying to figure out how to get good close up pictures on my canon rebel t6. she has been fattening up her buds this week and putting some nice frost on. Her smell isn't that strong but has a earthy fruit scent to it. i fed her 6tbs espoma bulb tone to finish her up. i'm thinking maybe 2-4 weeks and she will be done, also hoping she puts a nice purple tone on.

end of week 9 update. She is almost ready to be chopped down. I'm going to give her about another week to to get some amber going but will also take it day by day. The pictures don't really do it justice but the colors of this bud is amazing. Beautiful mixture of green and purple with some pink hues and the orange hairs. It looks alot like fall with the dying leaves. Just to be safe i gave her another feeding of 6 tbs of bulb tone since i'm not sure how much longer she will need and if the soil would hold out. Also picked up some terpinator and used it during her weekly watering since she doesn't drink alot.

Happy Harvest Day!

Harvest day for the girl. Growing this plant was rather easy and had no issues whatsoever with diseases or the genetics. She took lst'ing like a champ and always powered through her stages. The buds turned out beautiful and dense. Alot of colors going on with the bud with some light and dark green with a deep purple and some pink spots. She frosted up nicely and created some really nice colas too. Her smell before chopping was a sweet piney skunk and after chopping her the skunky smell came out more. Overall i'm very pleased with how this whole plant turned out for how small she was. I was impatient on my supplies and had her in a plastic pot under cfls for the first 2 weeks but she blew right up once i got my supplies. I will most definitely be popping the other 3 seeds i have in the near future and may pick up another pack of these. Well done sweet seeds on this strain from the color to how the plant swells up and packs weight. Smoke report of speed dried nug: The high is a nice relaxing high that kinda just mellows you out. I get a slight sensation of couch lock and some munchies but at the same time i'm just chilling around not overly tired or couch locked. I also find that it has a nice euphoric sensation that goes well with how relaxed it makes you feel. The high lasts a good amount of time and doesn't fade away right after smoking. ---- will update again in about 2 weeks on the actual smell and smoke of proper dried nugs with a couple days of cure. Update: buds are dried and got a nice 32.47g. A mixture of dense buds with some airy lower buds. Will have to find a way to get better light penetration and organic bulking nutes. Smell is now a sweet gas and smells like straight gas on exhale.
