Hello dear diary,
Here we are again, the seventh planting on “Butterflies Little Farm,” this time two new strains from Royal Queen Seeds, Mimosa Automatic and Sherbet Queen Automatic. This diary will be dedicated to Mimosa. 👈
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Royal Queen Seeds for their support. 🙏
This time I didn't do photos and videos of the whole planting process, every time I do more or less the same thing, so if anyone is particularly interested, they can look at the previously published diaries.
LET'S START FIRST WITH THE FARM SET-UP:
Box - Secret Jardin DS120W 120x60x178
Lights - MIGRO 200+
Ventilation - Blauberg Turbo - E 100
Filter - Primaklima filter PK 100/125
Fan - Oscillating Koala Fan
Humidifier - Beurer LB 45
Soil - BIOBIZZ Light - Mix
Pot - 11L Fabric pots
Seed - Royal Queen Seed
Nutrition - BioBizz and RQS Organic nutrition
A FEW WORDS ABOUT MIMOSA AUTOMATIC:
Mimosa Automatic is a modern autoflower with potency and bud quality that's on par with photoperiod cannabis strains: 21% of THC powers a massively potent high that will put a big smile on your face. 😆
Mimosa Automatic will complement all kinds of activities, which makes her perfect for awesome daytime blazing. 😎
Her flavor profile — you guessed it — is quite citrusy, with delightful orange, lime and lemon notes, sprinkled with a touch of diesel.
Out came Mimosa Automatic, a strain that boasts 65% sativa, 30% indica and 5% ruderalis genetics, a blend that doesn’t leave much to be desired.
This is a short description of Mimosa, we’ll see how it ends up on my “Farm”.
LET THE DIARY START OFFICIALLY:
05/05/2021
Planting. After cleaning the Farm (GrowBox), I prepared everything I needed. Soil is a Light-Mix from BioBizz, Fabric Pots, Organic Additives that I mix with soil.
From the beginning, I use only organic fertilizers.
I used 11L Fabric pot, to which I added 50g Easy Boost Organic Nutrition, 10g Easy Roots Rhizobacter and 5g Easy Roots Mycorrhizza Mix to the soil and mixed everything well.
After that I soaked the soil well with water, made a small hole, laid the seed inside and lightly covered it with soil.
After planting is completed, they enter their new home. I planted a total of three plants, two Mimosa Auto and one Sherbet Queen Auto.
The temperature in the Box at that time was 24 degrees and the humidity was slightly below 50%, so I will have to put humidifier to raise humidity.
I set the lights 35cm from the pots as Migro recommends. 👈
05 - 09/05/2021
I sprayed the surface of the soil with water a couple of times to keep the soil moisture at the surface.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25 degrees and 60% humidity.
09/05/2021
One of the two Mimosa sprouted. Since I didn’t know if another would sprout, I put another seed to germinate on a wet paper towel.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.1 degrees and 58% humidity.
12/05/2021
Mimosa # 2 germinated, so I put the germinated seeds in the ground I had previously soaked with water. I watered the other two plants, p.H. I regulated to 6.2. with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. Mimosa # 1 grew 5.5 cm.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.1 degrees and 50% humidity.
That’s all for the beginning of this diary, I wish them all the best in their growth. See you soon. 🙌
Hello Diary.
The first week of vegetation is over, Mimosa is progressing nicely, it has grown 21 cm and looks healthy and satisfied.
Although she has elongated a bit more than her roommate Sherbet Queen, the distance between the branches is larger than usual, we will see how it will grow further.
As I wrote earlier, I initially planted two Mimosa Auto seeds but one did not sprout so I repeated the germination.
For the purposes of the diary, I will photograph one plant while I will photograph the other only in special cases when something concrete is being done on it.
In addition to the nutrients that I mixed into the soil at planting, I started adding BioBizz’s Root-Juice.
I regulate the humidity with a humidifier, so the humidity varies between 45% and 55%.
At the sixth “Farm” I overdid it a bit with nutrients, at least as far as Watermelon is concerned, but now I will be adding nutrients much more carefully.
All in all, there is nothing more special to write in these first weeks.
Let's see what the week looked like:
16/05/2021 - Day 1.
Officially the first day of vegetation, so far I have considered it a sprout.
I also watered the plants, p.H. I adjusted to 6.0 with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. I watered each plant with about 1 liter of water.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.5 degrees and 60% humidity.
20/05/2021 - Day 5.
Watering. p.H I lowered to 6.5 and added BioBizz’s Root-Juice, 4 ml / L.
Also, each plant received a little more than 1 lit.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24 degrees and 40% humidity.
22/05/2021 - Day 7.
Photographing and measuring plant height.
Mimosa Auto # 1 - Day 7. - 21 cm
Mimosa Auto # 2 - Day 7. - 8 cm
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.2 degrees and 45% humidity.
That’s it for this week, see you soon and thank you all for your support.
Hello Diary.
It’s been the second week of vegetation on my little farm, and so far everything is going great. The plants look happy and satisfied.
Mimosa # 1 elongated a little more than usual, grew 37 cm and outgrew her roommate Sherbet Queen by almost 10 cm, even though they sprouted the same day.
Mimosa # 2 that sprouted a few days later has grown 14 cm, we will see if it will reach them in height. There are a couple of bright spots on the lower leaves but I don’t think there’s anything to worry about.
As for Mimosa # 1 which I would document for the diary is a beautiful healthy green color, and she started showing signs of gender.
Watering is not so frequent, every three to four days. As for the nutrients, this time I will dose it more carefully, I think I overdid it a bit with the previous plants, at least as far as Watermelon is concerned.
Here’s what it looked like last week.
24/05/2021 - Day 9.
Watering. I prepare 6 liters of water, p.H I lowered to 6.4. With that, I watered all three plants more or less evenly. I pour water into a bucket the day before to evaporate the chlorine in the water.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.5 degrees and 45% humidity.
28/05/2021 - Day 13.
Watering. This time I put one Easy Grow Booster tablet in 7 liters of water and I reduced the p.H to 6.4.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.5 degrees and 45% humidity.
29/05/2021 - Day 14.
Photography and height measurement.
Mimosa Auto # 1 - Day 14. - 37 cm
Mimosa Auto # 2 - Day 14. - 14 cm
That's all for this week. Happy and satisfied how nice it grows. Thanks to everyone who comes by and looks at the diary.
Hello Diary.
The third and last week of vegetation, Mimosa entered the pre-flowering phase, which can be seen in the photos.
Mimosa # 1 and Sherbet Queen, who keep them company at the "Farm", have spread quite a bit, while I had to lift Mimosa # 2, which sprouted a few days later, to be closer to the light, given that it is about 30 cm lower.
For the purposes of the diary, I photographed Mimosa # 1 which grew to an impressive 55 cm. The distance between the branches is greater which means that in the first weeks of the vegetation it grew rapidly and elongated.
But I'm not complaining, the plant has taken on a nice shape, the branches on the sides are nicely rounded up even though no LST has been done and they are all at the same height.
Flowers began to form which can be seen by the light green leaves at the end of the branches.
My plan is to do a defoliation at the end of next week, I think it will suit them because it has already started to be difficult for me to water.
Mimosa # 2 has grown 22 cm, lags a bit behind in growth, after I clean it up a bit next week, I will try to make an LST.
Watering is every two to three days when each plant gets about 2 liters of water. I am much more careful with adding nutrients than in the last case so I only added Bio Grow from BioBizz with one watering.
Let’s see what it looked like last week.
31/05/2021 - Day 16.
Watering. p.H. water I regulated with Plagron’s Lemon Kick at 6.4. I prepared a total of 6 liters of water with which I evenly watered all three plants.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.5 degrees and 41% humidity.
02/06/2021 - Day 18.
Watering. This time, too, I added nothing but regulating p.H. water at 6.3
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.3 degrees and 46% humidity.
05/06/2021 - Day 21.
Watering, height measurement and photography. This time I added CalMg and BioGrow preventively. p.H I dropped to 6.4.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 28 degrees and 55% humidity.
Plant height at the end of the third week of vegetation
Mimosa Auto # 1 - Day 21. - 55 cm
Mimosa Auto # 2 - Day 21. - 22 cm
That’s it for this week. Next week I have a little action on the Farm, see you soon with a new report.
Hello Diary.
Mimosa Auto has entered the first week of flowering, at least as far as Mimosa # 1 is concerned, given that Mimosa # 2 is a few days behind.
Mimosa # 1 has grown 80 cm which worries me a bit, I hope it won’t grow too much in height anymore. The plant is quite stretched, and the distance between the branches is longer.
This is not the case with Mimos # 2, it is the complete opposite. A small bush, full of large leaves.
So on the 28th day I did a defoliation on both plants, plus the Sherbet Queen with whom they share the “Farm”.
I removed the leaves and branches at the bottom of the stem, now the air flow through the plants is much better.
Mimosa # 1 is very nicely shaped with a solid elongated stem, and the flowers began to form at the ends of the branches.
For Mimosa # 2, I used Bending clips, small plastic devices for bending branches. We'll see what happens.
Watering has become more frequent, every two days I water with about 2 liters of water.
This week I added only one Easy Bloom Booster tablet to stimulate flowering and I adjusted the p.H to a value around 6.3 and at one watering I added CalMg preventively.
The conditions on the Farm are in line with the summer months. The temperature is slightly higher, 28 degrees and the humidity is around 50%.
It is expected that the temperature will increase in the coming time, considering the temperatures during the summer.
I also changed the light mode, I put 4 hours of darkness and 20 hours of light.
Both plants look really good, the leaves are a healthy dark green color and for now everything seems to be going as it should.
Mimosa Auto # 1 - 80 cm
Mimosa Auto # 2 - 45 cm
Here’s what it looked like last week.
08/06/2021 - Day 24.
Watering. I put one Easy Bloom Booster tablet in 6 liters of water and lowered the pH to 6.5. With that, I evenly watered all three plants that are on the “Farm”.
Since the last watering was three days ago, the branches and leaves were very droopy which is an indication that they were very very thirsty.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 27.5 degrees and 45% humidity.
10/06/2021 - Day 26.
Watering. I prepared 7 lit, lowered the p.H to 6.2 and did not add any other nutrients.
12/06/2021 - Day 28.
End of the fourth week. I did defoliation on all three plants and put bending clips on Mimosa # 2. I think it will respond very well.
I photographed the plants, measured the height and then watered them. This time I added 1.5ml / lit of CalMg preventively.
That’s it for this week, see you soon.
Hello Diary.
The second week of flowering is over, as seen in the photos, Mimosa # 2 flew into the sky. She has grown 45cm in a week which is twice her size since last week.
Both plants look good and healthy. The color of the leaves is dark green and they shine as if they were varnished. Both have stretched quite a bit, especially Mimosa # 2, to whom defoliation has obviously come in handy.
Also after I put the bending clips, I directed the branches away from the plant to get as much light as possible.
We’ll see how the flowers continue to form and fill in, but for now, all is well.
Watering is now every two days, I added CalMg preventively twice and added one Easy Bloom Booster tablet.
Conditions at the "Farm" are not ideal, the temperature is around 29 degrees which is expected given the summer months.
Here’s what it looked like last week.
14/06/2021 - Day 30.
Watering. I always prepare about 8 liters of water, I regulated p.H. at 6.5, added 1.5 ml / lit CalMg and one Easy Bloom Booster tablet. With that, I watered all three plants evenly.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 27.6 degrees and 40% humidity.
16/06/2021 - Day 32.
Watering. I lowered the p.H to 6.2 and added 1.5 ml / lit CalMg.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 50% humidity.
18/06/2021 - Day 34.
Watering. This time I didn't add any extras, I just lowered the p.H to 6.4.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 50% humidity.
19/06/2021 - Day 35.
Photography and height measurement.
Mimosa # 1 - 104 cm
Mimosa # 2 - 90 cm
That’s all for this week, see you soon.
Hello Diary.
It ended the third week of flowering on my little Farm. Lots of changes to Mimosa #2, but before that a few words for Mimosa #1.
It has reached 110 cm which is a couple of cm more than last week which means it will no longer grow in height.
The plant has a nice shape, I cleaned the lower branches earlier so there is good air flow through the plant. This is helped by two fans that blow constantly.
What I noticed is that the flowers are kind of weird-small. It’s as if they’ve shrunk, even though they’re full of trichomes and stick to your fingers, they look a lot different from Mimosa #2. They didn't shed any hair at all. I will see how it develops further.
Otherwise the plant looks healthy, the leaves are dark green and it looks beautiful.
Mimosa # 2 has grown to 117 cm which makes it currently the tallest on the Farm, and it was a few days late and was the smallest for the first 4 weeks.
As it grew abruptly, the lower part of the plant was again blocked with branches and leaves, so I removed the lower branches again.
The other three are bending clips that move the lower branches away from the stalk to receive as much light as possible. The flowers filled in nicely and began to spread the scent.
I hope she also stopped growing because she exceeded the height that is ideal for the height of my grow box.
I water the plants every two days, they drink really a lot of water. This week I added Bio Grow, Bio Bloom and Alg-a-Mic from BioBizz to one watering.
The temperature is around 29 degrees, during the day it even rises a little above 30 degrees, but so it is in summer, I hope it will not cause stress to the plants.
Here’s what it looked like last week.
20/06/2021 - Day 36.
Watering. I added 1ml / lit CalMg to 8 liters of water, I lowered the p.H. at 6.5 and with that amount evenly watered all three plants.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 60% humidity.
22/06/2021 - Day 38.
Watering. This time I just regulated p.H at 6.3. I did not add any nutrients.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 28 degrees and 47% humidity.
24/06/2021 - Day 40.
Watering. I added Bio Grow 1.5 ml / lit, Bio Bloom 1 ml / lit and Alg-a-Mic 1ml / lit. p.H. I dropped to 6.4.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 31 degrees and 52% humidity.
26/06/2021 - Day 42.
Watering and photography. p.H. I dropped to 6.5.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 28 degrees and 45% humidity.
Mimosa # 1 - 110 cm
Mimosa # 2 - 117 cm
That’s all from me for this week, thank you all for your support, see you soon.
Hello Diary.
Here we are at the end of the seventh week, the fourth week of flowering.
My Mimosas grew above 110 cm and stopped growing in height. Given the 180cm height of the grow-box, any plants that grow above 100cm are too tall for my conditions at the Farm.
For the lights I use Migro 200+, Led lights, whose recommendation is to be about 35 cm away from the plants. If the plant grows above 100 cm, then the distance from the lamps is less than 35 cm.
Although I haven’t noticed it hurts them if they’re closer, I’d love it to be 35cm as determined.
Mimosa # 1 has reached 111cm, and looks really nice. The leaves are healthy in a beautiful dark green color.
The flowers themselves, as I wrote before, do not fill and do not grow as usual. When I compare it to Mimosa # 2, they look like two different strains.
We’ll see how it develops to the end but I don’t think any miracle will happen. Although the flowers are sticky, covered with trichomes and a pleasant growing scent, this is not it.
Mimosa # 2 reached 118 cm, bringing it from the lowest plant to the position of the tallest plant on the Farm. Not as branched as Mimosa # 1, I directed the lower branches outwards with the help of bending clips to get as much light as possible.
The flowers fill well unlike her sister Mimosa # 2. Since it is the tallest plant, the distance from the light is less than recommended but for now I don’t see that bothering it.
At Mimosa # 2, I spotted a visitor, the black ladybug (Chilocorus renipustulatus Scriba). I went to read what was written about her and decided to leave her at the Farm as a protector.
I also gave them some food this week, I added an Easy Bloom Booster tablet and I added BioBizz on two occasions. I stopped adding CalMg since the plants show no signs of a deficiency of these minerals.
The temperature is in line with the summer months, slightly higher than ideal. Humidity is satisfactory, around 50%.
Here's what the week looked like.
28/06/2021 - Day 44.
Watering. I lowered p.H. at 6.3 and added one Easy Bloom Booster tablet to a total of 8 liters of water. With that amount I watered all three plants that are on the Farm.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 49% humidity.
30/06/2021 - Day 46.
Watering. This time I added BioBizz. I added 8 liters of water
Alg-a-Mic - 10 ml
BioGrow - 15 ml
Top Max - 7 ml
Bio Bloom - 10 ml
I adjusted p.H to 6.4 and with that amount I watered all three plants evenly.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 32 degrees and 38% humidity.
02/07/2021 - Day 48.
Watering. p.H I adjusted to 6.2 and added Bio Bloom 2ml / lit, Top Max 1 ml / lit and Alg-a-Mic 1.5 ml / lit.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 47% humidity.
03/07/2021 - Day 49.
Photography.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 48% humidity.
Mimosa # 1 - 111 cm
Mimosa # 2 - 118 cm
Well, that's all for this week, see you soon.
Hello Diary.
Here we are at the end of week 8. I was on vacation last week so the Farm was taken care of by a friend who watered the plants and took photos so I have fewer photos this week.
I didn’t want to bother him with pulling the plants out of the grow-box so the photos were taken inside the grow-box as seen in the photos.
Mimosa # 1, as I guessed, hasn’t made much progress in filling the flowers. The scent is citrusy diesel and is already quite strong now. Some larger leaves have begun to change color to light green and yellow, meaning the end is near.
Next week I will start tracking the color of the trichome with a microscope though it is still too early but just in case.
Mimosa # 2 is progressing much better in terms of filling the flowers. Compared to the look of the flowers at Mimosa # 2 it looks like they are two different strains.
Especially the main cola is pretty full.
There are definitely two more weeks left so I hope for an even better outcome.
The scent is strong in both plants, the flowers are nice to the touch.
The temperature in the grow-box is slightly higher than 29 degrees during the day and the humidity is slightly lower than 50% which is ok.
The temperature is higher due to the summer months but thank god for the great ice lighting, the Migro, which doesn’t heat up the grow box too much.
Watering is still every two days when each plant gets about 2.5 liters of water. I stopped adding nutrients, from now on only water with regulated p.H between 6.2 and 6.5.
Here’s what it looked like last week.
05/07/2021 - Day 51.
Watering. I prepared 8 liters of water and adjusted the p.H to 6.4. With that amount of water, I watered all three plants evenly.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 27.3 degrees and 45% humidity.
07/07/2021 - Day 53.
Watering. Procedure as two days ago.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29.4 degrees and 50% humidity.
09/07/2021 - Day 55.
Watering. Same procedure as before.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 31 degrees and 48% humidity.
10/07/2021 - Day 56.
Photography.
I hadn’t seen the plants all week, when I got back I was pleasantly surprised by the progress. Except of course Mimosa # 1 which disappointed me a bit.
Next week I will take better photos again so it will be seen how far we have come. See you soon.
Hello Diary.
We have reached the 9th week, 6 weeks of flowering and are slowly coming to an end. My estimate is another week until harvest, although the flowers look different on Mimosa # 1 and Mimosa # 2, the appearance of the trichome tells me it will soon be time to harvest.
Most trichomes are milky and now I am waiting for the brown ones to start appearing. It’s a sign to me that it’s harvest time.
Along with Mimosa, there is also a Sherbet Queen on the "Farm", so it's quite crowded in the grow-box. That's why it became quite difficult for me to take them out of the grow box so as not to damage them.
So this week I only photographed Mimosa # 2 on a black background while I take photo of Mimosa # 1 inside the grow box.
The color of the leaves slightly takes on a lighter green color which slowly becomes yellowish, the flowers are nicely filled as far as Mimosa # 2 is concerned, although it grew almost 120 cm high and the lower branches were quite far from the light.
Bending clips helped a lot by throwing the branches outwards and thus giving them more light. The branches are heavy under the weight of the flowers so I had to tie it a bit to a stick.
As for Mimosa # 1, the flowers are full of trichomes, the smell is divine, much stronger than in Mimosa # 2, but the flowers remained small and airy, not filling and hardening. Probably most of the flowers will go into the trim.
Due to the height of the plants that are inside my 180 cm tall grow-box, the lights are much closer to the top of the plant than recommended by Migro, but I didn’t notice that their light is too strong, so bravo Migro.
The temperature was high this week, around 30 degrees, and this is caused by the great heat outside which was above average this week.
Humidity is a little above 50%, which is more than would be ideal, the cause is also heat, so the soil evaporates more and releases moisture.
I have two fans that blow for 24 hours and thus prevent the potential occurrence of mold or similar problems. Ventilation also works at maximum power.
Watering is still every two days, and more or less that’s all that happened this week, I’m patiently waiting for the harvest.
Here is a brief overview of the week.
11/07/2021 - Day 57.
Watering. I always prepare about 8 liters of water, p.H I adjusted to 6.4 and watered all three plants evenly.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 50% humidity.
13/07/2021 - Day 59.
Watering. Same procedure as two days earlier.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 31 degrees and 55% humidity.
15/07/2021 - Day 61.
Watering. p.H - 6.2
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 53% humidity.
17/07/2021 - Day 63.
Watering and photography.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 60% humidity.
That’s it for this week, we’ll see more of what it will look like next week but it will very likely be harvesting all three plants at the same time. Until then, enjoy.
Hello Diary.
The last week was over and we came to the end of the journey. Ten weeks in total, three weeks of vegetation and seven weeks of flowering, and a total of 77 days since Mimosa # 1 sprouted, while Mimosa # 2 sprouted a few days later but their harvest was the same day.
Last week there were no surprises, I watered the plants regularly and observed the development of trichomes.
Mimosa # 1 - beautiful structure of the stem, I had to connect the branches to the stem and the stick that I put later, so that the branches would not crack and the plant would be more beautiful for the last photo shoot.
The flowers are smaller and more airy, they did not fill as I expected, but they are full of trichomes, sticky under the fingers and have a strong scent. I will see what the flowers will look like after drying.
Mimosa # 2 - looks a lot better. Although she stretched a lot, the flowers filled much better than her sister Mimosa # 1. With the look of the flowers, I wouldn’t say it’s the same strain.
I had to stabilize it with tying, the whole plant swayed heavily given the weight of the flowers at the top of the stalk.
Both plants have been closer to light than Migro recommends in the last few weeks, but as far as I can see, nothing has hurt them.
As I expect to harvest, this week I followed the development of trichomes on the flowers, most of them milky and when I noticed the appearance of browns, I prepared everything and had a harvest.
So I harvested all three plants in the grow box the same day.
The condition in the grow box is satisfactory, the temperature is around 29 degrees and the humidity is slightly lower than 50%, and one fan blows all the time, mixing the air in the box.
I can't say yet exactly if I am satisfied, we will see after drying what we managed to achieve. As for the yield, I don’t believe it will be spectacular, especially with Mimosa # 1, but I won’t predict anything in advance.
After I cut the plants at the bottom of the stalk, I hung them in a grow-box upside down to dry. Since I dry whole plants in one piece with the flowers, they will probably take longer to dry completely.
The ventilation will stay on to make the airflow better.
Here’s what the last week looked like.
19/07/2021 - Day 65.
Watering. I adjusted the p.H to 6.3 and with 8 liters of water I watered all three plants evenly.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 51% humidity.
21/07/2021 - Day 67.
Watering. p.H 6.4. Same procedure as two days earlier.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 28 degrees and 41% humidity.
23/07/2021 - Day 69.
Last watering. p.H I dropped to 6.4.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 48% humidity.
25/07/2021 - Day 71.
Photography and Harvest. After taking photos and video, I cut off the plant at the bottom of the stalk and hung it in a grow-box to dry in the dark.
Whenever I write a report from the last week, some nostalgia overwhelms me after the harvest. I hang out with them every day, I take care of them, I send them positive energy and I hope they will reward me richly for it.
We'll see what the reward will be here. See you soon with the final report.
On my “farm” I always plant two different strains. One is intended for daily activities and the other for evening relaxation.
In this case Mimosa Auto is predict as daytime smoke. So out of a total of three plants, I planted two Mimosas.
If you’ve been following the diary, you know that two different Mimosa have grown up.
Mimosa # 1 produced light airy flowers that I mostly turned into trim, only leaving the flowers at the ends of the branches and main cola to ripen in jars.
Although the flowers are full of trichomes and smell wonderful, it has not reached its full potential. I think it's a matter of genetics and not some mistake of mine.
But in the end it is still great to smoke, perfect for my daily activities. Slight relaxation after a couple of smokes and after a few more smokes comes a time of euphoria and creative energy.
Mimosa # 2 is a different story. Although it grew the tallest of all three plants on the Farm, its flowers are much more concrete than Mimosa # 1.
It produced solid hard flowers and the effect after smoking is the same, although the taste and smell are more intense with Mimosa # 2.
When smoked, it has a strong citrus flavor with notes of diesel.
Mimosa is easy to grow, although I did not overdo it with the addition of nutrients, the plants proved to be resistant.
It took her 81 days from the moment she sprouted to the day she was harvested.
If you want to grow a flavorful autoflower, one that is easy and fast, you should definitely try Mimosa Automatic.
21% of THC powers a massively potent high that will put a big smile on your face.
Final Result:
Mimosa Auto # 1 - 55 g.
Mimosa Auto # 2 - 68 g.
In the end I can say that I am satisfied with both the yield and the taste of Mimosa. It will definitely satisfy my daily needs :).
I wrote earlier but I will repeat the basic information:
81 days from when it sprouted until it was harvested.
3 weeks of vegetation.
7 weeks of flowering.
14 days drying.
123 g total yield.
2 Mimosas grown.
They have both grown taller than 110cm making them one of the taller strains I have grown so far.
All ten or so weeks passed without any problems, the only thing I was not very happy when I saw in which direction Mimosa # 1 is developing.
After 14 days of drying in a grow box in the dark, I did the final trimming, weighed the dried flowers several times to keep my Mimosa # 1 and Mimosa # 2 from mixing,
although it can be immediately recognized by the structure of the dried flowers.
I then put them back in the jars and put moisture fighters in them that will regulate the moisture during curing in the jars.
And here we are at the end, it’s obvious given the amount of text I’m enjoying Mimosa’s smokes as I write this latest report.
Thank you all for the comments and a big thank you to James from RQS for the great support.
I hope the information will help future growers who will grow this great strain. See you soon.
