Outdoor OG Kush Auto - 1st time

OK, the roundup... I had two OG Kush plants. One was in a 5-gallon smartpot and the other was in my native soil with extra compost. The one in the smartpot definitely was the stronger of the two. If you have read any of my earlier posts, you know this was a very, very wet summer. In fact, it was our rainiest ever. I stopped checking after awhile, but we were well over 20 inches during the time period when the plants were in the ground. Both really took a beating during mid-August and stopped developing. It was almost like someone let the air out of the buds. I harvested the one in the dirt first after 73 days in the soil. Trichomes were definitely already in 20% amber range. It was also showing the worst bud rot. It yielded .4 oz. The second OG Kush (smartpot) was harvested after 85 days in the soil. Trichomes again were about 20% amber. Similar bud rot by this time. It yielded .7 oz. Hindsight being 20:20 I would have given them more nutrients early on. I was very light on them. My grand total for the season (8 seeds) was 5.2 oz dried (combo of amnesia haze, og kush and sour diesel). Two of these seeds were grown else where and were quite small there too. Those accounted for about 3/4 oz of my grand total.

I decarbed it and had it on toast with butter and peanut butter. Pretty stupefying and got a wicked dry mouth. Lasted a good 6+ hours. Still trying to determine proper dosing. :-) Only doing as edible and tincture in the future. I have more recently done a MCT oil infusion. This is a real game changer for me. So convenient and easy to moderate dose. I did about 1/4 oz (or maybe just over) in 4 oz of MCT oil. Ran this in a water bath in crockpot for 4 hours and then strained. About 1/4 of an eyedropper is perfect. This feels a bit easier (weaker?) to take than the Amnesia Haze that I did the same thing with.
