Good ole paper towel method and after 36 hours, now were set. I've place the seed in a 3 gal pot today. Now to see how long it will take to surface. Lets Go!
Big shout out to Unit Farm for sending me their UF 2000 LED full spectrum grow light (100W). I’m running it my 3x3 tent at 20inch distance.
The OG Kush is staying pretty short so far but showing beautiful colour.
Pre mix:
Gaia Green All Purpose Fertilizer 4-4-4: 1 Cup
Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4: 12 Tbsp
Gaia Green Glacial Rock Dust: 3 Tbsp
Gaia Green Alfalfa Meal: 2 Tbsp
Great White: 2 Tsp
Worm Casting: 2 Cups
For days I couldn’t see any growth or initial serrated leaves and didn’t know if the plant was bad. After some patients it appears the serrated leaves are slightly deformed as you can see in the pictures. Now that they are out we should see improved growth.
She is coming along but remaining very short. I expect to see a lot more growth this upcoming week. If she don't start to stretch im going to increase the light distance.
We are growing now. Showing good improvement from last week and the leaves are pointed straight outward. She is staying short but I’ll lift the light next week and see how it reacts.
My medium is a bit low so this plant does not have much space to fill out. That being said, its really filling out nicely and looks healthy. Everything so far seems to be going great.
Another great week of growth. I had to defoliate the lowest leaves because they were so low in the pot everything was bent. It should be kicking into flowering any week now. Can't wait!
She is looking like its kicking into flowering now and really coming along.
Top dressed with a light feed.
Gaia Green All Purpose Fertilizer 4-4-4: 1 Tbsp
Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4: 2 Tbsp
Gaia Green Glacial Rock Dust: 1 Tsp
Gaia Green Alfalfa Meal: 1 Tbsp
Gaia Green Mineralized Phosphate: 1 Tsp
We are definitely kicking off into flowering this week. The leaves are beautiful and still point straight outward. We should start seeing some trichomes this next week.
I defoliated a couple of the lower leaves and did a lot of leaf tucking to maximize light penetration. Trichomes are coming in now. Everything is going well.
The buds are slowly filling out but check out the trichome develop. I will be top dressing this next week and it will be the last before harvest. Everything is going really well.
I lowered the light this week to the recommended flowering height. Everything with her is going really well.
She still has some deep green in the leaves and not showing any signs of nutrient depletions so I only have her a light feeding.
Gaia Green All Purpose Fertilizer 4-4-4: .5 Tbsp
Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4: 2 Tbsp
Gaia Green Glacial Rock Dust: 1 Tsp
Gaia Green Mineralized Phosphate: 1 Tsp
Gaia Green Alfalfa Meal: 1 Tsp
The buds continue to fill in well and so do the trichomes. This plant does smell, every time i open the tent. It a really sweet and tangy smell and sticky.
Were nearing the end with this one. I've cut the Cal Mag out to flush the nutrients before harvest. This girl has a strong smell when you brush up against it.
The flush well under way however, the leaves are not showing much fad. The trichomes are mostly cloudy so im thinking she will finish in 1-2 weeks. Hopefully we can deplete the nutrients by the time we chop. The buds are packing on some good weight too.
She was a strong smeller while growing and its remained strong to the end. Skunky herb with a hint of lemon. I think she would lean more towards indica because it really knows how to settle you into a relaxing head high. Lots of trichomes on this one as well. The end dry weight was 53 grams.
This plants started off slow to the point where I was going to throw out. Once growth started everything went really good. Overall this plant was maintenance free. Within a couple weeks to flowers exploded. This one dried 12 days and the buds shrunk A LOT and lost the density. This was my first time growing this strain, so it could be completely normal.
